Get this one and your good to go - Sony Xperia XA1 Ultra Accessories

Hii to all xperia XA1 Ultra owners..
Get this one and your good to go...
https://support.sonymobile.com/au/quickchargeruch12/faq/
Use over night the standard one wich you got out of the box
Why?
Couse the stock one does not get the battery even warm..
The phone will charge over night to 100% in a very very good way.
Couse the phone is cold as ICE when it is charged with the 1500mAh
stock charger..
But during the day...if you are in a need to get quickly the phone charged..
Like you need to go out of your home...and the battery is a bit low...then just use
the quick charger from the Link above..
Sony do recommend this charger
https://www.sonymobile.com/global-en/products/accessories/quick-charger-uch12w/specifications/
But just google the price and you will see that you can get the older model wich will support your
xperia in the same way..
It has the same spec..
Hope I helped.. happy charging

May I add that Sony offers a Battery Care app which learns your charging pattern and charges upto 90% and then to 100% before you wake up if you have the same pattern. It works every night for me.

battery 3200 mAh ,, solution ???

i saw many complains for the battery life
and would like to know if anyone try this battery 3200 mAh
it is on ebay for 18$

((kill the space ))
does it make the battery last more ?? or it is a fake ??
i will buy x10 this month but it is used ,, so i want to know if there a test to know either the battery works good or not ??
Hello, I tried something like that, but took it off fast because it made my phone bulky and ugly. However, it does last longer, about 170%-180% I used it only when i knew I'll stay away from power sources for a while.
And the one i used got hotter than the stock one.

and what is about gold 2430 mAh ?? it is the same size of the stock one and larger
and does the heat produce from it harm the mobile ??
thnx for ur reply
I never used the gold 2430, it seems to have 95%+ positive feedback on sites, and it seems to be identical in size with the original battery. I would've probably gone for that one if it was available.
The heat doesn't harm your mobile as it's not that hot, but it affects the battery life on long run. It didn't matter to me because i didn't use it as my main battery, but I think, when used as a main battery it will be very long until it will last noticeably less.
I would go for the gold 2430 because it can fit in the original case, and you can carry the original battery if you need it, without the need of a second back cover.
Good luck!

[Q] Recharging the Xperia S

Hey all,
Since there's no Q&A thread as of yet, I'll be posting my question here.
I'm sorry if this has been asked before, I have searched for it but couldn't find the answer.
My Xperia S just came in today, I started recharging the device when it hit around the 10%.
However, it's recharging so, so slow! Is it supposed to be this slow?
I thought the Xperia S was supposed to have fast charge capabilities?
If so, how do I charge it faster?
It's a Dutch unit btw.
Thanks in advance for any help!

I have a generic UK unit the first charge does take slightly longer. It took around 2.5 hrs after that I got from 1% to 100% in just under 2 hrs. You are not charging via your PC are you?

Nope, using the supplied charger and cable..
EDIT: Also, there seems to be some lag on the home screen and especially in the app drawer.. Anyone notice this?
There are 2 versions of chargers shipping with the XS, EP800 ( less power output ) and EP850 ( More power output )
check your charger to see if it is an EP800, i am pretty sure it will be. The 850 does its job much faster.
Another way Sony is "cheating" on us.... after i got my XS replaced twice in 1 week and already waiting on another replacement it just do not surprise me anymore that things like this happen with this device.
First Flagship from sony alone and it is already a catastrophe

Ah, you were absolutely right. Second charge was way faster.
I believe I just recharged 60% within 30 minutes.

Yep, it's an EP850. The first recharge takes ages, but the second recharge is pretty darn fast.
I don't have any problems as of yet with the XS, except for its laggy home screen.
Wonder if I'm the only one whose home screen is lagging..
What's up with yours?

I don't get screen lag I did take mcafee off my phone. Also any apps downloaded apps you are not using turn the service off.
is ep800 safer 4 battery? quicker charging = shorter battery life?
more mA -> more resistance -> more heat -> less battery cycles life?

Someone else may know this better, but, as far as I know, Xperia S have tech so it recharge faster without problems.

It's no safer than the 850.
The phone was made to withstand the 850 charger (one of the selling points actually was its charging). My phone (Tmobile NL) was shipped with the speed charger, but I'm noticing that after a few weeks the phone seems to be charging fast in general, on any charger...or maybe I am just imagining things?
I have an old BB charger that I use sometimes (I have chargers all around the house from old phones, i swear :/) and it seems to also charge it fast.
Edit: Also, on both chargers, my battery life is just as fantastic at night I charge my phone while I sleep though ( I don't get why you wouldn't charge your phone while you sleep?) so maybe my battery is more worn-in than a lot of people.
My phone is plugged into my " old " desire charger at home, which seams to charge faster than the default one , saying that , I also use my PC to charge ,so maybe the little top ups help + the charger at home .
It does last a while now, however we are running a powerful ( mini ) PC , so we cant expect too much !!

Shutting down at 45% charge

My phone keep shutting down when charged at 45%.
It refuses to start up again (or just starts up and then shuts down).
I have Googled it and so many answers come up.
Should I just "splash out" on a new battery or is it something more serious?
I have had the phone for just under 18 months.
It gets heavily used because it is for development too. So it is plugged in to my computer a very large amount of the time.
I noticed that someone mentioned about it getting hot.
How hot is hot? Mine does get warm a bit.
I have it in a leather case that is open on the sides but closed front and back and I am wondering whether it could have overheated and caused damage.
Looks like this: http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/41DdBaqlfLL.jpg
A bit warm is not hot..does it charge to 100% after you reboot and continue charging?you could try calibrating your battery with some calibration app
Send from beneath my cloak of magic
I think that problem is in battery overheating. Somethimes when battery is hotter than 50 C ur phone just freeze itself and do a reboot. Try to play some hd games when u charging ur phone and ur phone will probably do a reboot. Is it overclocked?

Yeah. It seems to have no problem charging up again.
I installed DX Toolbox. It has a battery-charge screen. You can follow the charge process as it move from fast-charge -> cycle-charge -> trickle-charge.
Shows it is ok and fully charged and it still tends to shutdown when it reaches 45% or so.
I have been charging mostly from my computer since it is connected there most of the day. Also, I lost my original charger. I do have another non-SE charger (Samsung) at work that I use sometimes. It charges with no problems.
However, the problems started long before I used the other charger.

I'll keep an eye on the temp to see if it is getting to 50 C.
My clock is not overclocked and I am using the stock ROM 2.3.3.
I would be ok moving to another ROM if that would solve the problem - although I would probably lose my Hebrew.
I should add the fact that it doesn't always happen.
For example, I am not at 33% and still "alive".
Will probably die if I start Angry Birds.
LOL - Shoulda shut up.
Just after I typed this it shut down. Without anything extra running.
Try another kernel, like zKernel for stock 2.3.3 (locked bl).

According to the post on it, it has the debuggable option removed.
That's a problem for me since my device is used for development,
If its an original LiPo battery, def. get a new Li-Ion one. I had similar issue and got a new genuine LiIon battery for X1 (same model number BST-41 i think from memory?), fixed it right up.

LiPo is for both, X1 and X10. There's no LiIon genuine battery for x1 and x10 (original battery). So, where i can get one? In Sony service u have just LiPo BST-41..

Well I guess my one is just an extremely good quality copy then. It came in retail packaging, the hologram sticker thing looked perfect, it looks just like original BST-41 but says Li-Ion instead of Li-Polymer. It was $40 on eBay Australia.
I thought it might be a copy (not genuine) but it works VERY well. So I'm happy either way. It was listed as "*Genuine* Replacement Battery for Sony Ericsson X1 (BST-41)" or something.
Can u give me a link? Is temp lower than a stock LiPo battery?

I checked Fast Recharge app while updating some Market apps for the past ten minutes and it said 27 degrees C. I don't know how hot it gets while charging, I'll check tonight if you want. It also says the battery type is a Li-Poly, so I don't really know if it is a Li-Ion - it just says so.
The original seller of the battery doesn't have the item listed anymore and google cache won't show the original eBay page either I have spent the past ten minutes trying to find a "genuine-looking" BST-41 but they all say Li-Polymer. This is really weird. I have searched for all the numbers and still found nothing on any site in any country.
OK, I've found one close match but it's alibaba (wholesale from china) so you probably can't get it unless you're willing to buy a batch =\
http://wincent-do.en.alibaba.com/pr...BST_41_li_ion_polymer_1500_mAh_wholesale.html
I found it by googling for (with the double quotes intact):
"BST-41" Genuine "Li-Ion" Retail
...maybe you will have better luck. I noticed the Xperia Play also uses the BST-41.
Sorry I can't help more. I compared my battery to the Fake Vs. Pro thread here with the nice high-res photo's, and this Li-Ion has a perfect hologram. Anyway, I have added photo's of the battery in that thread - see my post here.

Battery overheating PLEASE HELP!

hey
i am using rooted sony ericsson wt19i last mouth i bought battery from ebay the brand of the battery is KINPS and capacitive is 2200mAh with using this battery phone is repeatedly reboots i saw in the hidden menu that battery temperature is between 60C-55C i dont belive that that battery in the first seconds got this temperature and its heat like the original one no difference i heard its because phone protection can i change that?.
what i would do?
thanks and sorry about my bad english.
Well you said your battery has 2200 mAh. Im looking right now my wt19 original battery and it says it's just 1200 mAh so there u got one reason why your battery is overheating. More energy = more heat. My phone just got to like 45 C° if im charging it while hard-using it at the same time but 55-60? the phone seriously has a hard time recognizing and adapting to the new "fake" battery. If problem keeps try to get a new original battery i don't know how much problems at future can bring using a higher voltage battery

Is it solved or still overheating? you can try powering off so, let it calm about 10 minutes. so open the battery. if so, try calibrating it...
have you ever checked your battery health?

sony xperia z2 fast charging

hai guys any one using fast charging for sony xpeira z2 phones.., if yes, whats the time taken by phone to get fully charged? and is it worth to loose my warranty for fast charging?
thanks
help me
sony xperia z2 doesnt support fast charging and even with mods installed it charges in about the same time (thats based off of my experience)
typically charging time ranges between 40 mins and 3hrs peaking at 1400Mah Maximum
Lol.. 3 hours that's too much.. Can't we do anything to vary that? How much time does it take for ur phone to charge

it usually doesn't take 3hrs unless google backup is syncing but often its a hour
ive found the fastest way to charge my phone is to put it in aeroplane mode and to stop all apps that shouldent be running
(some things i find helpful
- thicker usb cables
- shorter usb cables
- wallchargers that can push alot of power
- try plugging straight into a wall as laptops/computers/etc are slower)
In Sony official website it's showing that Ep 881 supports fast charge for z2.. Is that correct?

Not really
that's bad.. My phone is taking more than 3 hours to get fully charged.. I hate it!!
My phone maxes out at 1A oddly using either the stock EP880 1.5A, a Samsung 1.9A and an external battery 2.1A (all 5V). But on CM based ROMs they max at 1.4A as expected. Tried installing the QC hack for LB (UB method doesn't support .232) but no noticeable difference.
Ohh.. Okay
When I've been using some chineese 2.0A charger I could see the results. The phone was charging faster without any mods.
