[8.0][UNOFFICIAL] AICP - Oreo - X2 - LeEco Le Max 2 ROMs, Kernels, Recoveries, & Other

[8.0][UNOFFICIAL] AICP - Oreo - X2
No longer updated as there is now an AICP official ROM.
VOLTE DOES WORK.
AICP 13.1:
Build 1/03/2018
https://drive.google.com/open?id=1jM...8TOZCPEZ63JEUM
Working speaker mic.
Build 28/02/2018
https://drive.google.com/open?id=1lI...09xfCrOKO7c7s3
CDLA works in calls for me now.
Some audio changes. Please test.
Updated to latest AICP/Laos sources.
Flash still doesnt work
USB tether may or may not work.
Focus fix kernel:
https://drive.google.com/open?id=1kJ...4SZnfk6GpInLvv
Build 15/02/2018
https://drive.google.com/open?id=1u4...nwkPUsyl4s6cID
Update vendor blobs from OP3 - thanks @mos
Update omx configs etc from OP3 - thanks @mos
Reverted some kernel changes to hopefully fix deep sleep problem
Build 11/02/2018 - version3 with working fingerprint this time and working usb connection.
https://drive.google.com/open?id=1IS...wFZr8M1H-GucO7
Bluetooth call audio should be fixed.
Synced latest AICP sources
I've added/changed some id's for headphones but havent tested it.
Build 01/02/2018
https://drive.google.com/open?id=1OF...Nkt2z1VwgW543i
Camera works on some more models now. If your model don't work logs please.
Build 31/01/2018
Please note this build has had major changes. I have not extensively tested this build yet!
I have rebased our entire X2 vendor tree on Zl1 and deleted half the existing vendor files we used to use for X2. This can cause problems!
The benefit to this is that all the stale useless files hanging around are now gone.
The other benefit is that I could focus on trying to make Zl1 OSS camera hal work. I finally got it working
The problems with it so far is that torch does not work. (Its not a hard fix I believe but I havent had time)
Volte may or may not work.
Fingerprint did work last I checked
etc
Please test and post feedback of bugs relating to device problems. (I'm not interested in 'this setting is missing from settings' reports at this stage)
This ROM is based on lots of work by andr68rus and mosimchah and especially codeworkx.

What works:
Camera. (Has green preview but pictures turn out fine) Also only snap camera app seems to work at the moment.
WiFi
Phone
Audio (still has errors in log I have to fix)
Fingerprint
What doesnt work:
Headphones
Charging led seems inconsistent
With thanks to andr68rus for our collaborative work on camera so far.
This ROM is based on lots of work by codeworkx and mosimchah too.
Somehow this post got reverted to an old one so this will have to do for now.

@infrag Thank you for the awesome ROM. Is it possible to include below apps instead of stock app.
1. Google Contacts 2.0 app
2. Google android messanger app
3. Pixel dialler app
Reason behind this request is google keep updating these apps. So we always get new features just update from apkmirror or from playstore

Fixed rotation bug, making a full wipe even internal storage and reflashing a nougat rom.

Build 27/10/2017
Camera works in GCam now.
Should be a little more reliable.
Still green preview though.

Acceleration sensors seem to be flipped. Left/right is up/down and vice versa.

Yes and after restoring back Nougat rom(DU), gyro is blocked in landscape position. Have to do a clean install now.

Hello,
finally I've been waiting for it the whole time. I still use the XenonHD 7.1.2. Now my question is SELinux Strikt again? Because your image was the only thing I got my S-Pushtan to run. I thank you.
Installation ran without problems. Unfortunately the S-Pushtan cannot be started here anymore. in the XenonHD 7.1.2 the APP 1a was running. I can only imagine it's SELinux, because now SELinux is on moderate. Is there anything you can do here?

Rom is Based on LineageOS (..... 96)
Front camera is missing, and any cam app opening freezes System for few seconds.
Nova Launcher as default.
Nothing more to say.
Nice ROM actually. I don't have problems with cam and freezes at all. Everything is smooth so far.
Is there any bug plzz mention bug if it is have.
Good work.
Xe HD lives up to its reputation though I do not personally prefer high contrast icons. Thought we left them at JB! But this being HD I leave at that.
Only on two of the 8.1 tested so far I found SELinux is enforcing. This is one of them. QS USB tether / Torch, cam switching no issue. Will test cam tomorrow day time. However expect Le Max 2 cam's innate issue to surface. Not bothered anyway.
May need to do a factory reset after install of Xe HD/GApps else may result in blank screen. No need to wipe internal storage.
Though it's a good idea to let the user select the browser that he/she uses via install browser option, the choices therein will always be limited given the number of browser apps - even the well known ones. For e.g. Edge by MS.
Thank you for a good ROM.
Edit: Missed one - QS Status Bar setting - Battery does not show battery % when charging (default) unless "Always show percentage" is selected.
Love this ROM. Would be nice if Leeco extras with working QC were on board.
So now everything runs also S-Pushtan ... Super ROM on and on... thanks a lot... I'm looking forward to the further updates
THX THX THX THX THX
I've been using it for a day, and it's perfect.
would be added in the status bar customization, change battery icon (round, square, small or large ....)
thank you.

Stable custom rom for redmi note 4 sd

Hello,
I have redmi note 4 3GB variant, rooted with miui 9.5.11.0
I wanted to try out a stable custom rom, I'm leaning towards resurrection rom and lineage os, can you guys tell me which versions of those are stable enough for me to try?
And, what is the most hassle free and simplest way to back up and restore data.
In other words, how to easily switch from stock rom to custom rom (or vice versa) without loosing user data?
Los is good but if u are fan of customisation Then RR is good also Aosp Extended is good option, u can restore your old backup and its very easy just make backup of your current rom and flash the custom rom.

It doesn't get more stable than LineageOS.
But the price you pay is that there aren't any customizations or features. Currently it's basically pure Android
I'm using Miracle droid for 6 months now since i dont need treble at the moment or until magisk has official treble support.
Many customization option and no bug so far.

I prefer customization, not pure android.
At least for me, Miracle has better batter life. i love RR since Galaxy S2
oh by the way RR nougat is the best battery life so far.
I use RR Luis ROM, 5..8.5 version, which is for Nougat. Battery life is excellent, lots of customizations, and very stable.
Try the Lineage Extended by Alexey. Its not here in XDA, but search Alexey711 in androidfilehost. Thats the perefect version of Lineage based ROM I've found. Lots of customization plus regular updates.
Alexey build in lineage is the best , he update daily I think:silly: almost all customization in resurrection are available in it
If you want to try resurrection go for endless, his battery life is outstanding, he also update with useful features

How to install.
You're likely to have to fully wipe and fully format the data partition again.
I have been using Open Gapps for testing (ARM64 pico variant)
If you don't follow the above I can't help you
What works
All of the main stuff.
Calls
Camera
GPS
Bluetooth
Wifi
NFC
What's still to do.
It's basically AOSP at the moment, there are no real customisations yet, they will come... but no ETA!
Gestures/Squeeze etc see above.
What doesn't work?
Probably lots of things I don't use... You tell me...
Changelog
Alpha 1
* Initial Release
Alpha 2
* Audio fixes
* USB tethering should work
* Started working over sepolicy
Alpha 3
* November security patch
* Selinux enforcing
* Probably other stuff...
Alpha 4
* December security patch
* fixed a couple of sepolicy denials (thanks The_Walking_Playground,ValKyre for testing)
Alpha 5
* Tweaked the auto brightness settigns (quicksettings bar should behave now)
* Disabled Interaction boost for now, there were some strange times it was sticking.
Alpha 6
Re-enabled interaction boost
Advanced reboot menu.
Alpha 7
January security patch
Switched to Tomascus's new kernel (non-EAS version)
Merged a big chunk of Tomascus's device tree changes. (see Here)
Alpha 8 *READ CAREFULLY*
Time has been short recently, so other than merging in the March security update basically all of the device updates and kernel updates are from Tomascus (unofficial lineage builds)
I had a strange issue dirty flashing this myself, It had been flashed over a couple of hundred times in testing... all of the settings categories were all jumbled up, no amount of clearing cache/deleting app data seemed to fix it. A clean flash did. It may have only been me, just be aware.
March security patch
Switched to Tomascus's EAS Kernel
Device tree updated with many of Tomascus's changes
Alpha 9
April security updates
Synced more stuff from Tomascus/updated kernel to latest see device tree etc.
Not sure if the settings issue going between alpha 6->7 is still there as I ended up wiping.

Make sure you have properly installed ADB
Plug your device to your Computer
Open up a command prompt on your Computer
Type the following (without the quotes): “adb logcat -d > logcat.txt”

Either attach it to your post or report it via the above link.
1. Android Auto – Blank screen when unlocking. No audio. Possibly relates to reported issues with Google Play Services and seems to relate to Android P, not this specific build. Fix is said to be incoming.
2. Issues with SIM2 – Flinny only has a single sim device. Please report these issues with logcat so they can be looked into.
3. Brightness slider – Works from 50-100% Under 50 shows no difference. Can confirm this, but at 50% it is at its lowest.
4. OK Google – For me, and many others obviously, OK google does not work or is grayed out. I flashed this https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=385035244224414620 in TWRP and it is back to working.
5. 3.5mm adapter – It appears it may be a kernel issue and is being looked into. Works a few times then requires reboot to fix.
6. Random reboots – I have just noticed that if adaptive brightness is turned off, it will freeze randomly. Sometimes its within minutes, sometimes an hour. Ill gather a log or two when I can.
7. Audio issues - Seems to be a codec issue. I use vlc without issue. Seems streaming services work fine.

Needed a quick rebuild to change one last thing... the link will be in the 2nd post once I've tested it.
A build is up, see the 2nd post.
Works great, you are the best thanks
All the previous issues are fixed! Good job mate. I've been running it for a week and have not found anything rom related wrong. I am dual sim too.

The dark theme isnt working for me. Other than that this rom flies!
Everything seemed to be working but dark theme and WiFi calling is not working on T-Mobile. You can turn it on but it doesn't do anything. Pretty snappy though, look forward to trying this full time when WiFi calling is working, that is if it ever works. =) Great job @Flinny

It means slow charging?
Normal fast charging seems to work, Qualcomm quick charge on the other hand is the same as it was on my Oreo builds. HTC did something strange with it on stock...

What about volte ? Will later builds support volte?
Thanks for all your work.
The ROM feels great, but there's one problem:
The capacitive hardware navigation buttons won't react toward long press (including home button).
Which means I can't access Google assistant by home button, and can't split screen by recent button.
I'm using Buttons Remapper to solve it somehow.

[ROM][UNOFFICIAL][LOS][8.1] crDroid 4.7 [NOTE9][Exynos][19.10.2018]

crDroid ROM for the Galaxy Note 9
What is this?
crDroid based on LOS for Galaxy Note 9. Based on Android 8.1
What's working?
Mostly everything, including dual speaker.
What's not working?
MTP - I've implemented a fix, just need to build again.
Powering off - if you power off your phone completely the rom won't boot. You need to go to trwp and reboot to system to get back in.
Let me know of any other issues.
Instructions:
Make sure TWRP has been installed and functional.
Download the latest build linked below
Reboot to recovery
Wipe data and cache (required if you switch from other ROMs). Even better if you have nothing to loose and wipe system, data, cache, storage etc
Flash the latest build (and gapps). GAPPS ARE NOT INCLUDED
Reboot and enjoy

Thread is copypasta from your thread if you can't tell. I couldn't be bothered to make it pretty tho
??
I've been using this rom for the past 12 hours. Very good. Haven't run into any issues other than the brightness bug but that's in Pixel Experience as well and you're using the same device tree so that is to be expected. (Brightness gets stuck at max once you set it at max and you have to reboot to make it unstuck)
Features are very welcome and rom is quite smooth overall. Definitely daily driver material. Really enjoying it. Appreciate your contribution to this device. I'll report anything else I find.
Thank you
Wow. I know Crdroid from one of my previous phones. Welcome

The brightness bug went away for me strangely. Turn on adaptive brightness and reboot and see if it goes away. Glad it's working well for you anyway. The only issue I've noticed is a bit of lag with the vibration motor when typing but turning off haptic feedback resolves that.

Original Thread: https://forum.xda-developers.com/ga...resurrectionremix-galaxy-j5-variants-t3941399
Resurrection Remix ROM has been based on LineageOS, SlimRoms, Omni and original Remix ROM builds, this creates an awesome
combination of performance, customization, power and the most new features, brought directly to your Device.
Many things that in previous versions were tweaked with mods, are now included by default in the ROM so, please enjoy!
Special thanks to the LineageOS team, Omni team, SlimRoms and of course to all the supporters.
*Not responsible for any damage caused to your device*

The camera Fix link fixed, sorry for the inconvenience.
Thank you! Working perfectly, but sometimes Android randomly restarts. Also the RADIO FIX link is wrong (there are three dots in the link, instead of actual link). Camera working, every app seems like working fine too. NFC isn't working, does exist any fix? Will NFC ever work?

NFC isn't working neither on Oreo or Pie, there isn't much of a hope it will ever.

Oh I see. Thank you.
Yeah it does. Not too often but sometimes it does (soft restart). I was trying to find out which action makes this happen but I didn't find anything. I've been using this ROM for about 6 hours and it seems like it got better. It haven't restarted in the last hour yet.
Thanks....
I'm trying now
