Last update is actually 20p. Which is supposed to improve battery drain.

Right now I have 20c version from march.
I will replaced my battery after few hours.. draining very fast..
The new one solve this?

I cant comment on 20c as I've only tried 20a and 20k. I personally thought 20k battery drain and charging was worse than 20a. Which apparently 20p fixes, but I'm yet to try it.
Have you tried greenify and adding all your apps to hibernate from inside the app? That vastly improves battery drain.

I don't know any links to it, some guru should take care of that to make it public...

My girlfriend has this phone and I take care of the updates... With 20G, sometimes, the battery died within 10H from charging (due to some bug, sometimes it took 2 days - normally).
With the new 20G, she has never complained about battery drain, and now if I look at battery usage stats, the blue "zones" are a lot smaller than there were before... I think that finally this solved the battery problem...
She uses 3G, always on, facebook, gmail, with auto sync...
Sounds cool. It's strange, I'd thought some releases like this one would have a bigger thread.

STOCK ROM WORKED CORRECTLY, but what I want to solve is that brutal overheating that causes phone to restart, any solution?
Overheating
As far as I know, LG L70 series phones do not suffer from overheating problems. Me too currently using a LG L70 dual sim varient(D325). I suggest you contact the vendor of your pone. May be it's defective unit. Get it changed or repaired.
PS : By the way, if you have got a spare camera module for your LG-D320F8 to sell, please contact me. I have a LG l70 here with me without the camera(damaged flex)

VS99029A software update today 8/31/2017

Received update today, guessing just a security patch
VS99029A
Meh, this phone didn't get as much development as I would have liked. for me root is getting less and less important. Back in the day we could almost double our battery life etc with custom roms. It feels like the glory days of custom roms is in the past.
https://www.verizonwireless.com/support/lg-v10-update/
Bummer, just a security patch. I hope we get nougat since T-mobile has it.
Looks like nougat may be right around the corner. Update on the opensource website, nougat listed as 30a.

I actually tried to compile but what do you know stupid Verizon has a locked bootloader so I wasn't able to install it. UGH, I hope Verizon eventually gets taken to court or something for these ridiculous amount of restrictions. For example, the unlimited data plan with throttling, wtf....
Strange , i cannot update to this v29a ? App founds it ( download it ) and it's in the vrz-lgvs990 folder ... but when i click for update check .. nothing , no new updates found ?
Anything about this ?
reinstall of the app fixed the issue.

Battery Drain . 4 hr SOT for 100% charge !!!

I purchased my phone (Redmi note 7pro) only a month ago.I was on 10.3.7.0 global stable rom and phone was running smoothly. Few days back I tried to flash TWRP but I failed. My phone was bricked and I flashed fastboot rom(10.3.7.0) and phone bootup. After that I was not getting that fluidity and performance of my phone like before. Then I noticed more battery draining than usual.i thought it will be fixed in the next update. After that I received an update but it didn't fixed the issue. Still lagging in games(PUBG) , Late response in small games like Clash Royal, and a huge battery drain. And day be day it is getting worst. I can get 3-4 hrs SOT for a 100% charge.
I'm currently on latest version of MIUI.
What might be the possible reasons for the battery drain and poor performance?
What might be the possible solution?
Please help.

Wow that's a pretty much bad SOT..
If u want TWRP use Peter's (https://forum.xda-developers.com/redmi-note-7-pro/development/unofficial-twrp-3-3-1-proper-t3933531)
Now,
Did you unlock the bootloader? If u didn't ,u can't make any system level changes to the device (in this case TWRP)
Now unlock the bootloader and download MiFlash tool.
Download the required Fastboot ROM.
Click the clear_all and flash option.
This should make your device good as new.
(Unlocking the bootloader for the first time will require to wait for 15 days or so, you would also lose your data)
Yes. I unlocked the device successfully. I don't want to flash TWRP. But I just want my phone perform like before. For your information, after OTA to 10.3.10 , I did factory reset my phone. But no change. Do you think flashing the same rom can fix the problem?
I also lost my charger for around 20 days and using 5v _~ 2000mA charger.
In one of the online reviews I heard that this phone has less battery performance when dual SIM are used.

This is a battery issue in the 10.3.10 update, only way to fix this is by clearing the system, boot, data partitions and then flashing 10.3.7.0 or some other ROM
And to do this u need TWRP (Peter's)
Performing a factory reset won't help as it just sets everything back to default on 10.3.10..
They even pulled back this update and have now started rolling it back again...

Been using the phone for like 11-12 days and the battery drain is just insanely high, i cant hit more than 4:30 hours SoT ...

Mine also, I'm thinking of downgrading to 12.0.2.0 from April. Gsmarena guys got 8h of sot with that version.

Yes, correct. When I bought mine it was on 12.0.2.0, immediatelly it found an OTA update and I did the upgrade to 12.5.5.0. Then I did a factory reset and made all the installations. That's why I'd rather go back to taht version, but you have to be rooted for downgrade

It doesn't require root but you'll need to unlock bootloader. Also if ARB is present you'll get error in MiFlash. Don't attempt to do it with twrp before MiFlash as if Arb is active you'll likely brick your phone.

Is it possible to just downgrade via Updater in settings? Download the ROM, and just locate package?
