What is my Mate 10's current firmware? - Huawei Mate 10 Questions & Answers

My phone is an AL00 that got converted to ALP-L29 by reseller.
Build Number is System 8.0.0.38(018L).
I don't know what firmware it is using 'cause I see everyone mentioned L29C636 and L29C432, and firmware B115 and B119, but mine is no where to be found. When I check with OTA and Hisuite it said 8.0.0.38(018L) is latest firmware. So what exactly is my firmware?

Oh sorry, it's my first time using Google Drive and seem like I can't hotlink image to here.

furiseto, seems like the reseller not fully rebrand your phone.
I've done the rebrand from AL00 to ALP-L29 with FunkyHuawei tool.
In FunkyHuawei's instructions, once the rebrand is done, the phone needs to be flashed twice with the same firmware (i chosed the latest which is B119).
After the first flash, i had same build number as you "System 8.0.0.38(018L)" and after the second flash i have now for the build number : "ALP-L29 8.0.0.119(C636)".
Maybe, you just need to flash once with latest firmware in order to have that.
See if duraaraa from the FunkyHuawei thread can help you.
Edit : from your screenshot, i have a main difference with you at the line "Version Component Version".
For that line i have : Version-ALP-L29636000 8.0.0.1(O.17110602)

Thanks, at least that sets some light to my part. Now I don't know if I should flash one time or two times, and which tool I should use. 'Cause in Funkyhuawei's instruction, the first flash uses Hisuite, while the second flash uses eRecovery. What a tricky phone.

Probably eRecovery will work. At the very least, FunkyHuawei support can determine how rebranded your phone is when you try eRecovery and can advise you from there.

Can't connect to my Network Carrier

Hello! I badly NEEDED your help guys!
My Device is Samsung Galaxy S3 GT-I9300.
I have installed a new firmware, its android version is 4.3 and an open line version for Philippines.
But it can't make and can't receive call and sms. (I have tested all the 4.3 version that is open line from sammobile.com, but it didn't work to my carrier)
The only solution I think is to flash a new modem, or to bring it back to its default stockrom which is 4.1.2(this device is bought from Israel, but it works to our carriers in the Philippines.)
The picture below is the screenshot of my device before.

@jphilip04: is IMEI, showed in settings, the same as shown on the label under battery?
@rp158, yes sir, they were the same. What should I do now? Please.
@jphilip04: go back to your last firmware with working net access (with Odin). If everythings works fine there, let it update to 4.3 by KIES. If you still have net access, try to install your Phillipines-firmware.

@rp158, The problem is, I can't find the default firmware from sammobile.com. Because my device was bought from Israel. I tried to search it on google, but theres' no link that can direct me to download the exact firmware with the exact modem version.
But before I did anything on my device, I also did a nandroid backup to my default firmware thru TWRP recovery .
@jphilip04: I find on sammobile.com Israel-EMC2-build. So what?

@rp158 And what about the baseband version? Is it I9300JKEMC1 too? because I can't find the firmware with the same BASEBAND VERSION: I9300JKEMC1 on sammobile.
@jphilip04: not important. If you loose IMEI with old firmware, do nothing with OTA or KIES but flash immediatly the actual Israel-firmware with Odin.

It seems that the Chinese version update is different from the international version. The Chinese version update supports the Bluetooth call at 2020.1.16. Huami said that the Chinese version will be updated in 3.19, but did not say what to update

Let's wait...
Let me be clear here: I've got an update on APK, not in the ROM.
Hello, I have seen that to answer whatsapp and calls you need an esim, I would like to know if it is possible to respond with any program without the need of esim, using wifi or BT.
If yes, I would like to know if it is functional, if there are no delays in notifications, if I can answer whatsapps with audio, or by dictating, or better still, with a voice message.
English languaje is avalaible?
Many thanks.

You have to download some Rom for it from here. Choose a Custom they working really fine. The Watch works mostly longer that 12 Month of Warranty and it's no Problem to Unlock the Bootloader for it. That's was you have to do. It's a Tool here for Flash and Install Apk's. Make Backup and some Adb Stuff. They are healing your Watch.

I think you have solved the problem already. If not try disabling the antivirus and try again. don't forget to wipe userdata.

How To Guide What region is my device using.

A simple way to find out the region of your device and does not need a computer, just use your smartphone. Just enter *#6776# in the phone app and you will get the Software Version.Scroll down and there you will find Manifest:Image. From this data, we can find out which region our device is using.
Examples: The EUEX version will be labeled 44:44.
If you went from India to EU it will be 44:1b, from China to India 1b:97.

Hi, I have a OnePlus device (10T) and it seems OnePlus follows the same naming. But, it has "a7" as a possible value, what would that region mean?
Quote from their forum:
1. You can try to distinguish if your device is GLO or EU version by following these steps below:
dial *#6776# >> manifest:Image >> a7:44 (GLO version)
dial *#6776# >> manifest:Image >> 44:44 (EU version)
I didn't find out what region you have listed?

First of all, not every device uses every possible region, that's why you can't find the info here. Second, A7 means Rest Of the World (abbreviated ROW) and it appears to use the GDPR ROM.

If you flash from a carrier version to U1 yes but you need to use patched Odin for that. Regular Odin won't change your CSC.

As long as your flashing an AT&T update. If you are looking to go to U1 from the AT&T U version you need patched Odin.
