I'm on T-Mobile rooted with samfail and running the deoxed rom in that ok. I seem to have lost volte/he calling/ and video calling. Any way to get this back? I tried flashing csc to no avail unless I flashed the wrong one through odin.

I flashed Simply Stock 2.3.5 to it, loved it
but,,, what I did not know, is I was not receiving calls...
It seems as this is an issue that others have seen, what was / is the fix?

I am also having the same issues after flashing
Simply Stock 2.3.5 with a simply.stock.JVS.Talon.kernel. I even tried the bullet kernel and I get the same emergency calls only error "No service- selected network (my network) unavailable). the only time this Simply Stock 2.3.5 rom works for me is when I use its stock kernel.
ok I finally figured it out,
after odin you have to flash either "Asgard_32_0821signed" rom or "Malice_v5_EDT" and then you have to flash on top of either of these 2 roms simple stock 2.3.5
do this if it helped me I see no reason it wont help u.
So here is the problem. I was trying to install an AOSP rom on my safestrapped s4. I had a back up of my stock NC5 rom. Anyway I restored from that and now only text and call dont work. Well text works breifly but 4g drops about 90 seconds in it drops to 3g, 4g comes back bit now no text. Calls dont work from staart just hangs at dialing and then closes gracefully. I am posting this from mobile data. Please help. Dont want to odin back if i dont have to.
Edit:i should add that wifi doesnt work until i flash gogolies nc2 modules. Though build in about shows nc5 i tried flashing nc5 modules just breaks wifi.

With all that has been discussed in these forums about AOSP roms not working with the safestrap solution and probably borking your phone, why in heck would you do this?
I think you will have to Odin.

Ok well, I can post the threads which I followed. All have seen if not full close to full functionality. I was installed GPE 4.4.4 also tried 4.4.2
Also never had an issue restoring from SS. Thanks for the helpful response.
I had some stuff to do tonight so I just got a chance to mess with the phone again. I tried flashing the NC5 modules over to see if that would fix it, It did not, also broke wifi. To get the phone back to a mostly functional state with at least wifi i reflashed the NC2 modules over my stock rom, this brought back wifi and to my surprise solved the text and call issues... I think it was an issue with the wrong modem being flashed. anyway please close the thread.
I had my s2 hard bricked and now i got a new motherboard for it, the thing is that on all stock roms (2.3 and 4.1.2) the phone works perfectly but all the custom roms 4.4 5.0 6.0 the cellular does not work, it gives me no service, tried flashing modem from cwm but no change.
i also tried different recoveries etc but custom rom no service
sometimes in custom rom imei used to be blank but it comes back after reboot, in stock no issues at all
any idea what im doing wrong or is there something up with the new board?

I was searching and I read somewhere that installing NeatROM by Sale will help, i downloaded and installed it, the good news is that cellular works and i have full 3G access.
Question: How to proceed further?
i could experiment but the thing is that if i flash a non-working rom (no cellular), i will have to flash stock from odin and start all over again
any ideas?

i tried NeatROM and it worked perfectly, then i tried installing slimLP and boom, no service again, this time,my IMEI was blank too, so now i'm flashing stockrom again.

So, I am on the nightly CM12.1 build for the hltespr Note 3 (N900P). This is the one.
I can't seem to find anyone else experiencing this exact issue and it hasn't been posted recently. I have no 4G/LTE service. I have toggled every setting both in the regular settings and under the *#*#4636#*#* settings and nothing seems to work. I was able to flash a stock rom and got LTE service immediately but again got nothing but 3G when I flashed CM12.1 back.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Edit: Just wiped data, delvik, cache, etc and loaded the latest nightly fresh and I still get no LTE.
Same here i only get 3g on any room i tink it is something wrong with our modem im using the last kernel h1 let me know if u found the answer
Same here. I flashed Phronesis N5 v6.5 (with the CSC set to SPR and updated my apns-config.xml to a copy from my wife's identical phone) and have only been able to get 3G. I have reverted back to stock and 4G was up and running. This is my headache right now. We need to pull our heads together and get this figured out. My baseband is OK2 right now. I was thinking maybe upgrading to the PH1 would help. It's just odd it works fine with stock.
I just realized wilder90 said he has PH1 running and it's not working. Maybe I will still try it.
*Update- I rolled back to stock and upgraded firmware to PH1. My build says LRX21V.N900PVPUEPH1 but baseband and software still say N900PVPUEOK2. I have 4G working. Do I have to update baseband/software another way?
*Update- I downloaded PH1 from sammobile.com and flashed the update through Odin. Now all says PH1. 4G still working great. I am going to flash Phronesis again and see if there is a change.

I've installed the stock ROM sucsefully, but I saw Emergency calls only, and when i tried to phone my homephone it won't work, says im not registered on network
I'm trying to register, it says that i'm registered, but still problem
Make sure the firmware matches the device you're flashing. Flash the rom twice with a factory reset in-between and try again. There is also the possibility that you'll need flash something else too, like a patched or original modem..
