Huawei mate 10 whatsapp call vibration problem - Huawei Mate 10 Questions & Answers

I got yesterday the huawei mate 10. All is perfect except one thing.
When receiving a whastapp call, it vibrates only once, as if it was a message notification. It does that in vibration mode and loud mode (in loud mode phone rings normally but vibrates only once)
(In vibration mode phone vibrates once and that's it!)
NB: in other apps like facebook messenger, no issue detected. Just with whatsapp call
Anyone has same problem? Any solution suggestion?
Thank you

I've got the same issue with mine. No solution for me.

Do u suffer also from low volume when recording a voice note on whatsapp?
in other word do people tell u that u r voice clips are too low and that they can barely hear u?

Just got the phone and same problem, any chance of fixing it?

no solution yet even after two software updates from huawei...

Same problem here

This might help you if u got the same problem. Going into settings>apps & notification>apps>whatsapp>notification then turn OFF the vibrate toggle.
After this the calling vibration will work, but the message vibration won't.
To enable message vibration again, you'll have to use an external app, try an app called "good vibration " in play store, in the app, click the ”+” icon, select “add app action“ , click "pattern", select 2x250 (or any vibration modes you like). Then u should have it fixed, with call vibrations and message vibrations!

i dont get often Whatsappcalls so its okey for me. what i noticed: the vibrations of the mate 10 pro are VERY VERY poor, right? That sucks.
my mate 8 was a beast when it was vibrating...

Guys...problem solved by itself..now whatsapp call is vibrating normally...cheers?

[Q] Ringer not ringing sometimes

I searched the forum but could not find this. Please bear with me!
While I get incoming calls in my X10i, the phone sometimes rings and sometimes doesn't. This results in lot of missed calls. Very weirdly, if the phone rings in the first call, in the next call, it might not, or vice versa. This happens without any specific trend. Any help, please?
Secondly, can anyone please tell how to check the proximity sensor? I somehow feel mine is not working, as previously, the phone would light up on taking out of cover. Now it doesn't.
Any help any one?

Then can it be that some downloaded app is creating this problem? I dont have any volume controller app, but can some downloaded games or other app doing this to the phone?
So the ringer problem is not mine alone. Can a software update fix this?
are you using a task killer???? it seems to be the root of most evils... suggest switching any autokilling off if you are.

Yes I am using ATK. But its being used for a long time, and the problem surfaced just 5/6 days back. Still what do you say, I uninstall it and see? This problem is giving me quite a headache, as I am missing many important calls.

Sound problem on HTC Hero

I have some problem with the "sounds effect" on my HTC Hero (like boot sounds and keyboard click sounds). The boot sound sometimes work but most of the time doesn't,the keyboard 'click' sound just sometimes mute by itself after I disable my phone from vibration mode (or silent mode),is this the problem of the SPL or the Radios? (I can confirm it is not the Rom problem because my sister's hero doesn't have this kind of problem)
Note: I have searched the entire forum and also did a lot of googling the web and can't find a way to fix this problem,so pls don't post something like "search the forums" or "Google it" that sort of stuff pls...

[Q] Proximity sensor not working

Hi guys. I have a peculiar problem in my new Galaxy S3. Whenever I make a call, the screen remains on even though I have ticked the 'Auto screen off during calls' option in call settings. Also, whenever I input any numbers while in a call, the keypad does not hide. I mean I get the 'Hide' option but it doesn't do anything and the keypad stays on the display. Can anyone tell me if this is a known issue or am I the only one facing it? Is there any workaround this? I am on stock firmware (XXLF2) and haven't even rooted my phone yet. Please help me guys!
I have exactly the same problem. I know the proximity sensor works, because I tried the proximity sensor test app. But my phone does not turn off screen when in call.
i have same problem any one help us ?
I also have this problem.. and to make it worse, I can't seem to call out occasionally. I swipe to call, but nothing happens. I can't even dial out at times.. rebooting usually solves the issue, but the problem quickly comes back.
I'm not rooted, on stock rom. Anyone know what the issue is?
OK, it looks like for me, it was a conflict between Google Voice and the phone. Turning it off/disabling it fixes the problems I've been having. I'll have to see what exactly is causing the conflict, but at least everything works with it off.

Where exactly is the option for turning off Google Voice?
I looked in Applications All but couldn't find it.

Check under 'Voice', not Google voice. It's also an option on the Voice widget.
If that doesn't fix it, try rebooting and doing it again.

'Voice' was my search pattern. It's got to be there I'll find it.
Hi guys,
Did you find a solution to this problem yet? I have the same problem, and no matter what I do, I can not make it work. The screen is always on during a call. I am using the stock rom, without root, as it is.

Nevermind. I fixed it by removing FSC ID, apparently it was interfering.
i had the same problem but it was fixed after i made a phone restart.
I have the same problem...

WhatsApp bug?

Hello everybody,
I was using NeatROM AOSP 3.2 (4.4) and sometimes (most of the times) whenever I received a WhatsApp voice memo, when I click the play button and place the phone near my ear, the screen turns off ok (sensor working fine during calls also) but the problem is the audio goes through the loud speaker and at the maximum volume even though ALL volumes are at the minimum. Then I switched back to NeatROM SuperLite 2.6 (4.1.2) thinking that the problem was with the ROM but actually it still exists.
Are you having the same problem or do you know how to fix this? Thanks!!
Anyone?

Happened to me as well after updating to EMUI 9.. for me it was solved with fully WIPE/factory reset. Guess it did happening for my 10 pro due to the fact I have tested alot different launchers, dialers with more when I was on EMUI 8
well,
and suddenly the problem is gone,
with I do nothing
a little bit weird, considering when problems occurred intensively at that time
but thanks anyway for any respon.
