Samsung Pay Promotions - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Questions & Answers

So, I used Visa Checkout for the first time today because there is a promotion for 2500 points. Does anyone know when the account is credited? From my previous promotion experience, it's usual within seconds.

Have another question. When I initially setup Visa Checkout through the Samsung App, I seemed to have selected the Samsung Rewards card. So on that card's tab, I see Visa Checkout turned on. How do I turn it on for the other card I got in there? (Visa Checkout website shows both of my cards).

Wondering the same as I used mine earlier and haven't been credited yet.

The Samsung Pay Promotions are the biggest joke on the planets I am still waiting on 3 40,000 points for 3 Note 8 from t-mobile. They where issued by Helloworld who administered the program who called Samsung. Samsung never received the points to put on my 3 phones. So do not hold your breath. It is a SCAM and for that reason I switch to Iphone and will never buy a Samsung product again.

^^^troll

Fixed it by signing out of Pay and signing back in. Now both tabs have the Visa Checkout black tab. Also, it seems you can't use Samsung Rewards card to make Visa Checkout purchases if you want promo points. It only works for your own CC.

I am having the same issue- but I have been calling them everyday and also participated in the Verizon discussion. I had to email everything back in it was “escalated” 2 weeks ago. I even called Hello World. They said the promotion was much bigger than expected. Bottom line - I call BS. I am angry at Hello World, Samsung and Verizon. Bad business

I was able to receive 5 gift cards for a total of 200,000 Samsung points. I bought a Sony X900E & One X

I applied so many times with different Samsung accounts, the only bad thing is I had to sign in every account I received the 40,000 points and be signed in that account to use it. I wasn't able to transfer to my original account.

The goal here is to NOT have agents run around looking for answers on how to go about. YOUR CHANCES ARE 10X BETTER if you request nicely to even accept a credit on your acct for a $150.00
Reason Being; Agents mostly have the power to do that instanty.
Also marks an easy, instant customer satisfaction score call.
STEER them to ATG&T.com
Let them know the phone is offerred for 50% off. Its tyhe first phone featured clearly on the sales page.
You will get a run around. I was transferred about 4x.
Until one agent said no prob.
Good Luck!
Where is the link to this page?
Did you call Premier or Business Care (611)?
Yes ..I contacted Premeir as they are the ones who ordered the phone for me.
Throw that option out foremost when speaking to an agent; about credit your bill.
Make it light & easy for them. You will indeed get it done along the line somewhere.
Premier DEFINETLY has all the power to instanly issue an immediate credit!
How we know if we premier?

Discounted price shows up after you 'add to cart'
I just did the same, my upgrade was pre ordered through Premier online on 2/5/12.
Called 611, told them about my recent purchase and obvious disappointment in the rapid price drop of my new device - and that I'd like a credit to reflect the difference. They asked what I paid, how much it's selling for on AT&T.com and proceeded to issue a "one time only exception" credit to my account. Done deal, had to be on silent hold for a bit and the CSR confirmed the credit was applied to my account...$155 positive credit on my account since they were nice enough to credit me the tax =P
All worth it for a $150 Galaxy Note!
This does not apply to upgrades they said, it is only if you added a line or opened a new line. I guess being a loyal customer for so many years means nothing if you are not new business.
help! quickly!
I'm trying to get a 150 credit, but theyre saying that since i bought it in the store, i would have to return it to the best buy and then go online and buy it at the discounted price.
im telling them that i ported my number over from sprint and what would i do with my number if i brought the phone back but shes saying that theres nothing she can do!!!....
im asking for a superviser.. can somone help..
I too got the $150 credit but in a different way. I upgraded and have a premier acct.
I did not call but rather went to the local ATT store. I had my original G-Note invoice and a copy of the ATT checkout shopping cart showing the 50% discount on a new order for a G-Note. I indicated that this wasn't right after less than 1 week and that I really didn't want the hassle of returning the phone and ordering a replacement at the discounted price.
I was very nice throughout and even commiserated with the woman helping me because she was shuttled around to 4 different parties within the internal ATT web order service center over a 20 minute period.
Eventually she just got her manager who explained to me that they were not going to be able to get it resolved with the on-line folks and simply issued my account a $150 credit.

That's what I'm worried is going to happen if I try
I got a $75 credit for not getting my Note on time. I will stay happy with that and not get greedy. $225 for the Galaxy Note is still a great deal, seeing as I paid $249 for my SkyRocket.
But good luck to those who try getting this credit
I'm ordering mine today, this wont work for regular upgrade right?

I just called att the second time today and WOW! $250 credit from my sky rocket and note! Although the rep said it needs to be approved since it was a big credit refund and takes about 4-5 business days before it reflects my account. Hopefully I will get my refund back. Btw, premiere account here also, both phones are upgrade.

Simple and painless $150.00 credit!
Wow this worked for me right away without hiccups. Around a 10 minute phone call with ATT CSR (nice lady). I just told her that I purchased the Note 2-days ago for 299.99 and today I've seen the 50% promo that drops the price to 149.99, and If if I can receive a credit for the difference. She said "please hold on sir", came back and advised me that she can issue a one-time credit for 150.00 back to my account with no questions asked and without confirming I had actually purchased the Note, at all! I actually purchased through AmazonWireless (they refused any price matching or adjustments unless the price drops on their site in the near future).
I was not being stern or sounding angry. Just professional.
I am premier and the phone was an upgrade through Amazon Wireless @$249.95
I dialed 611 and got connected to Enterprise CSR without any transfer to other CSR's!
Thanks to OP for this advise! And am happy with my SGN (ceramic white) for $100 plus 2-year extended contract of course and additional 181 day EFT @Amazon Wireless

I called 611 the other day to see if they could match a different 50% offer that was found online...they quickly said no because it was a promo for add a line or new customers. Quick history lesson, i bought an infuse last year under upgrade, its been replaced 5 times. I got real fed up and told them I'd cancel unless they replaced it with a different device, they said they could not do that but they would however allow my 2nd line to upgrade some 8 months early. I called 611 a few days ago to get everything in order when they told me because of my situation i need to upgrade that line directly thru them which meant i couldnt purchace at my local retail store (drag) so today i called 611 to place my order and i referenced this new 50% deal, he said i most likely wouldn't qualify...i said whatever that's fine. As we were about to close the deal over the phone he told me that he can't process the upgrade cuz his system is under maintenance and to call back tomorrow. I called back in 5 minutes and started over. I again mentioned the promo than they transferred me to premier. The lady had no problem giving me the 50% off plus free priority shipping plus free activation. Had i ordered yesterday or even earlier today when the first dude had system problems i would have paid 299+15 shipping and 30 activation fee, i ended up paying $157 all said in done. Pretty nice savings if you ask me.

Is this applicable if there is already an exisiting FAMILY plan, then you add a NEW contract/number to that family plan?
I was charged $299 at bestbuy but I can still return/cancel the plan, then buy it on AT&T again then get 50% off.
Anyone?

Surprised when ordering a nano-SIM card from Verizon for a new 6P.

Today, I called Verizon to request a sim card for a Nexus 6P that I just ordered.
I was expecting problems; however, after I provided the IMEI number that was on the Google order confirmation (It is actually the "Device ID number minus the final zero.), which the phone rep looked up, and saw that it was a Nexus; he then said I could pickup a sim card at any retail Verizon store for free, but that if they sent me one by mail, there would be a $6.99 fee for shipping and handling. I replied that I would prefer to pay the S/H fee rather than wait in line for more than 1 hr at a store. He then said that not only would they send the sim card, but that they would increase my data allowance an additional 12GB/month, making the total 30GB/month for an entire year, completely free of charge, and with no catches. Of course, I was very pleased, and quite surprised to say the least.
Knowing Big Red, I really wonder if there are truly "no catches".
What do you think is going on here?
You have a phone that can be used on any carrier. Verizon has to treat you like a human once they don't have you on a leash. You can move to any carrier at any moment.

18GB/mo how much are you paying for that? Is this on Verizon's "new" plan? Agreed with the other comment, they need to play a little bit nicer now to keep their customers.
Guess they don't have much of a choice since T-Mobile just announced yesterday that they're doubling everyone's data for free.
I did this online and got a new nano-sim sent to me for free, no S/H fees.
I walked into a Verizon store and said I needed a nano sim for my new phone. After waiting a bit, the guy entered my IMEI into the computer and grabbed a new sim, and then I was on my way. Probably the least painful experience I've ever had at a Verizon store.

I'm using 1 that I cut down from micro sim to nano sim, out of my Note 2. Because back then it was such a hassle dealing with Verizon. They would refuse to help you at the store, if you had a Nexus. After an hour on the phone with tech support you could get 1. Or you could just cut 1 down to size. It's a tight fit & I've always wanted an official nano sim. But if I had a real nano sim I would just put in.

Pretty much sounds like my experience getting the sim card. Didn't have to provide a IMEI though and the rep waived the shipping fee. Wasn't offered any plan changes but the other companies hadn't just changed their plans either. Activation also ended up being very easy as well FYI.
I called him up two weeks ago and ordered one on the phone without an issue. I didn't have the phone yet so I didn't even have those numbers. Not a single problem. They even overnighted it to me and didn't charge me a thing. When my phone showed up I put the card in and it didn't automatically activate so I called them up and they had me shut down my old phone and this one read them the IMEI and then start this one back up and it worked perfectly fine. I'd say between the two phone calls I spent maybe 15 minutes on the phone, only 5 to activate it and 10 to order it.
Just switched my 6p order from Huawei to Google last night as I didn't want to wait another month and I'll be receiving it tomorrow (that's crazy fast). I was going to get the nano sim ahead of time since I had so much of it, but now I think I'll just go tomorrow to my local verizon corporate store as it's less than 5 minutes from the house and I'll let them install the nano sim and activate it after I receive the phone.
I know others have done this with great success and I expect the same. Glad you had a good experience.

Sorry to drag this up from last month, but I'm curious to know how the phone shows up when you're looking at the account on the My Verizon website. Is the IMEI truly in their database, or does it show up as a generic Non-VZW Device? It was months before they added the IMEIs from the non-VZW Nexus 6 purchased from Google/Motorola to their database. The IMEI must be in their database for you to get the month to month (off contract) discount, which is $25/mo if you've got a 6GB plan or more.
It sounds like from the comments here that they've improved their internal processes and can actually manually add the IMEI over the phone, which would be great news.
My device (and my husband's) both show up as HUAWEI-H1511 under My Devices on Verizon. I didn't even need to contact them. Just switched the SIM card from my old Droid Maxx and it updated the model on their site immediately.

I have the V20 and it still technically has $476 on the device payments, but I get a $28/month credit on my account which will pay off the device in the next year and a half. I contacted Verizon directly and asked If I can give the phone to a friend or sell it when I buy the Note 8 and they said Yes as long as the phone keeps getting paid for with the $28/month credit.

Thanks for sharing! I noticed the unlocked version is less expensive than carrier specific. I've never gone the route of unlocked - does anyone know of advantages/ disadvantages of going this route? I'm assuming the updates would come from Samsung rather than carrier but, again, unlocked is foreign to me. Thanks, in advance!

Unlocked meaning you can pop any sim in and it'll work - no carrier bloatware - only samsung's P). No commitments, no contracts.

Hi! How can I help you today?
You
I want to know if the previous Note 7 owners who were forced to turn in their phones for other phones will be allowed to upgrade to the Note 8.
Verizon
Welcome to Verizon Wireless Sales chat! With whom do I have the pleasure of chatting today?
You
Stephen
Verizon
It's very nice to meet you, Stephen!
Verizon
Any customer can upgrade to the new Note 8!
You
We were told that if we turned in our Note 7 after the whole exploding battery incident that we would be allowed to upgrade when the new one came out. Is that going to be honored?
Verizon
There shouldn't be any issue!
Verizon
Do I have permission to access your account so that I can better assist you?
You
Yes
Verizon
Which line are we wanting to upgrade?
You
(Blanked by me)
Verizon
You are definitely eligible to get the Note 8 however you still have 17 payments left on the current phone.
Verizon
That would go the same as if you still had the Note 7 on your account.
Verizon
You would have to pay off that balance in order to get a new phone.
You
I know that. They told us that wouldnt affect us and they would waive that. So in other wor4ds Verizon lied again. They told us we wouldnt have to do that. I guess I will be changing carriers since I cant trust Verizon to keep their word.
You
I didnt change phones by choice. I was forced by your company to do so. I was assured by verizon that Note 7 owners would be upgraded at no penalty when the Note 8 came out. So you company lied again.
You
As long as we got another Samsung phone we would be able to upgrade at no penalty to us.
You
This is beyond messed up. Now I am stuck with a phone I never wanted in the first place and cant get rid of it.
Verizon
Stephen, you may of very well been told this. Did you hear this over the phone or in store?
Verizon
I want to guide you to the right place to get this information!
You
Over the phone from a Verizon rep
Verizon
Let me grab you the number to our Customer Care Specialist to assist with this issue okay?
You
When Verizon bricked my note 7 to force me to turn it in.
Verizon
Note 7 from all over the world had to be turned in for the safety of citizens!
You
They even released a press release stating the same thing!
You
Yeah thats bull****. My phone was never at risk to explode. Never even got warm.
You
Only 35 worldwide exploded and they were all in Korea. None in the US. The oneshere were found to be fraud.
Verizon
I understand you are frustrated. Everyone had to do the same thing!
Verizon
Let me get you that number so you can get in touch with someone who can help.
Verizon
Or I can transfer you here in chat, how does that sound?
You
just give me the number. I need a break from dealing iwth you guys.

Do you straight out them these payments or are you getting a monthly credit from Verizon that will pay off your device like I am? I came over from Sprint back in February when they revealed the unlimited plans and it was a promotion where I traded in my Galaxy S7 Edge and I got the LG v20 for free with a monthly $28 credit that will eventually pay off the phone. Yes I did multiple chats online and in my case, I can swap out my line with the Note 8 and still get the account credits. I even asked if I could "lend my phone to a friend" and they could use the V20 on their account (I'll be sending it to Samsung to fulfill the $425 off obviously) and he said yes that's not a problem because the installment plans don't put locks on the phones. Here's some text of a chat I had earlier.
Verizon
To give you a reference that your device payment credit will continue please keep this agreement number: XXXXXXXXX. This agreement is based on the active line where you device was linked to. Now, just as long as the line is active, regardless you'll use a different device and just as long you will not pay off the DPA (device payment agreement), the credit will continue.
You
Thank you! I have a few more questions.
Verizon
Yes, what questions do you still have while you have me?
You
Can I lend the LG V20 to a friend of mine, since I will no longer be using it?
You
And he can use it on his account?
Verizon
Yes absolutely he can use it on his own account. As long as the device payment will be fulfilled in 24 months, there will be no problem.
Verizon
Yes you are correct

I wonder how I could dispute an issue with Samsung financing...I wanted the 0% instead of my 10% credit card. I don't think they will have issues unless the trade in is in poor condition.
btw, there are folks buying note 7's for 300-400 on craigslist. apparently, samsung is quietly buying them back. i'm meeting a guy in a place with cameras tomorrow to sell mine for 380.
i kept mine - i said bugger off to all those stupid letters and boxes.
and for all those folks who told me i was wrong for ignoring the harassing letters from verizon/samsung: pffft!
i have been using it as a really cool wifi tablet and now it's become my personal trade-in program for the note 8 i just pre-ordered from best buy.

I hope you got that in writing. I was told I would have to pay my device off completely before I was able to upgrade. Here is the copy/paste of the chat:

Verizon
Verizon
1-800-922-0204!
You
Thank you.

I got the deal you wanted, let me give you some advice.
It's about three things. One, don't use chat. Chat is impersonal and doesn't allow you to convey appropriate tone. Two, don't get rude or verbally aggressive. Three, you need a strong account. By that I mean like I have been toting a 250-350 monthly bill with Verizon for over 8 years with a good payment history as well.
After a good hour on the phone, and being told multiple times that I would have to pay off the 500 bucks still owed on the S7Edge I never wanted... and politely explaining that I needed someone to speak to that can work outside the usual box of rules they work within.... I finally got transferred to a supervisor who looked at the account, and said okay, I can make this right. He forced the contract as paid in full which pushed that 500 bucks onto my bill, then immediately went in and issued a credit for the same amount. This made my S7Edge paid for in full so I could not only upgrade early but get the same promotion as every Joe off the street that never went through 5 phones during the Note 7 fiasco. So I got it half price still like everyone else. It will be here tomorrow.
That was the kicker I think. I simply explained that if they had A. returned my old paid for Nexus 6 to me (which they said they couldn't do) or if I had the Note 7 still (which had the annual upgrade available), they would have exchanged it for a Note 8 right away no questions asked. So I simply said, I just wanted them to honor the annual upgrade I was entitled to beginning August 2016 when I agreed to purchase the preordered Note 7. They didn't have to pay off the 500 bucks on the S7Edge. But I promise you my approach combined with my logic and my account strength made it happen.
They even added 12gb to our data plan. The supervisor also personally called me the next day to confirm the transaction went smoothly and to be sure I was happy. I have never received that level of customer service from any company. It was truly refreshing.

They offered me the same deal initially, to pay half the remaining balance on my S7Edge. I said no thank you and called back and started over again with someone else who sent me to a supervisor who paid off my phone in full, all 500 bucks... .

Now that's a shame! I too ignored everybody and kept my Note 7, it takes a full charge thanks to software blocking the charging update that makes it a brick. Also, as predicted, T-Mobile was not able to cut us off if you were paying your bill, so I've had full service this whole time. I, however, won't be selling this to anyone, it's going back to Samsung for a full refund! There is no expiration date on that recall! That's $850.00+ and use of a free phone for a whole year! I'll use an iPhone 5 to get the Note 7 owners discount.

After this I waited until the next day an called. I told the nice young lady what the situation was and she put me on hold. She came back and told me that I would still have to pay off the phone. I told her that would not be financially feasible because I owed $586 on that phone and I pay $521 a month on my bill every month (Have Me. my mom, my son and my wife on my account plus a few other devices). I told her that if I would be required to do that then I would explore my options of going to another company and having them pay off all of my stuff and then I would only have to worry about getting the phone. She put me on hold again for about 7 minutes and when she came back she told me that they were going to pay off the remainder of my phone. Problem solved.

Australian Free Wireless Charger Promotion - (Waiting Room)

I wanted to register for the promotion and receive a free wireless charger but so far, they haven't even enabled registration on their promo website.
https://www.samsung.com/au/note8-wirelesscharger-offer
None of the links to the registration form actually work. The site says to register when you receive your device (which I have) but doesn't say that the registration will open on a certain date. The promo ends tonight but I can't see why they'd have to wait until the promo ends before opening up registrations.
Can anyone else access the registration form?
It is live now. But the form seems broken. The address lookup field...doesn't look up anything. So the form stays incomplete. I have tried with different browers and devices with the outcome the same.

I had the same issue. Did not work on my Firefox or Chrome. For some reason it worked fine on my wife's PC (firefox), with the address field popping out.
However...... Prepare for a nightmare.
I just wasted over an hour fighting with the website with issues, and then having Vodafone telling me to call Samsung, and Samsung telling me to call Vodafone. What a mess. The biggest issue comes from the Proof of purchase number. There isn't one.
The Proof of purchase receipt that I have scanned does not show it and Vodafone support says that they don't have a Proof of purchase number to give me, with the final verdict being to "just type in your account number". Seriously.
Next on the list is if I use the field "Previous note 7 owner" then the web page will refuse to load to the next page. It's screwed. Vodafone instructed me to say that I did NOT own a note 7 even though I actually did own one ...through Vodafone themselves. Now my form has gone through with seeming "false" information and both Vodafone and Samsung are claiming "it might be okay". Currently I have zero faith in this clustertruck.

I logged into My Vodafone and found a form to request the Proof of Purchase document. They'll send it to me via email in the next couple of days. Be interesting to see if this mythical "Proof of Purchase number" is on this document. If not, I can see both Samsung and Vodafone finding themselves in legal hot water over what appears to be a promotion that is impossible to actually redeem. If they make this too difficult, I'll put in a complaint to the ACCC as this kind of thing is illegal.
Just registered for my wireless charger this afternoon, w00t! Hopefully these don't take forever to confirm and ship like the S7 Gear VR's did. lol..
Has anyone that registered for the promo received any confirmation from Samsung? I asked Vodafone for a Proof of Purchase but it didn't have all of the information Samsung is demanding. I used it for my registration anyway as Vodafone don't provide any documentation that complies with Samsung's demands. I'm waiting to see if they accept it anyway. If they don't, I'll lodge a complaint against Samsung and Vodafone (because they advertised the promotion on their site) with the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC). Samsung can't offer a promotion with conditions that are impossible to fulfil and Vodafone shouldn't advertise that promotion if they can't provide the required documents to enable a customer to participate. I'll drag both of them through the legal mud by their balls if I have to.
completed it 11 days ago and got an email saying they will respond in up to 15 days whether I got my "gift" or not.
That was a week ago...
I used my receipt number in the proof of purchase number but I paid through Paypal. Waiting to see how they will deal with that...
Going back and checking There is a reference number and a link to check how the redemption is going. Clicking the link sends me to a site asking for the reference number and my registered email. After entering the data I get a message here -
Mines approved. Waiting to be shipped.
Registered the day it went live, still status is registered
Also does anyone know why America and other country got more pre order gifts than us?
Other country had the choice of either a wireless charger, and a 128gbSD card or a VR camera and a SD card,.
Just wondering
Received this email today.
Dear Samsung Note8 Customer,
We hope you are enjoying your new Note8.
We would like to apologise for the delays in processing your claim for the Samsung Wireless Charger Promotion. The demand for the Wireless Charger has exceeded expectations and overwhelmed our promotions team.
Rest assured though, we have expanded the team and are working hard to get through the claims as quickly as possible. You will receive an email once your claim has been processed and also when your Wireless Charger has been shipped.
In the meantime, if you would like to check the status of your claim, please access the redemption website here.
Thank you for your patience.
Yours,
Samsung Promotions Team
Looks like I'm going to waiting forever.
Yep, got the same notice and a couple hours later got a notification that my purchase docs had been validated but now it would take (up to) 5 days to validate my IMEI... If the IMEI is deemed not valid they will let me know...
How nice, you have a wonderful new toy, the receipt is fine but the IMEI may not be valid... Awaiting Validation Limbo...
Seriously, WTF?!!!

yeah samsung dont seem to be as talented in organising things like this.
still waiting on the "Loyalty bonus" thing as well... very poorly communicated thing that we should be very pleased and excited about but now am just tired and angry about.
Well that was a drama and a half... Finally got the "Congratulations" email. Now it will only take up to a month to send out...
It's like the star wars saga, it just keeps going even after you think it is finished for good.....
Arrived a week ago... Not bad, but would've preferred the 256gb micro sd....
Registered Sept 22nd
Approved Oct 12th
Dispatched Oct 27th
Received Oct 31st
Email notifications are slower than the actual progress.. I received the "dispatch" email on the same day I received it.

by not saying you had a note 7 you may have missed out on the $250 note 7 loyalty promotion,i didn't have proof that i use to have 2 note 7s' on contract,i got telstra to print out my contract details,Samsung sent back an email saying, as you are also eligible for a bonus $250 Samsung online promotion code, we have transferred your claim to the 'Galaxy Note7 Loyalty Reward Offer' website.,which made me have to wait longer, everything now has been verified and i was told to wait up to 30 business days,as from today i have a week to go.i sent them an email saying the note 9 will be out by the time i get my charger.

Note 8 Special for Note 7 Users

I qualify for the special but I was wondering, do I pay the entire $930 bucks up front or do I only pay $505 up front? When I go through the promotional check out, it listed 930 bucks as a check out balance, Shouldn't the phone be 505?

you pay $535 up front, you have to pay the taxes
First you need to qualify, use your e-mail or Samsung account you used with Note7, if you can. Once they approve you, then you order online using the same credentials and it should show 930-425=505 plus tax unless it's Verizon model, which was about $35 more. They should e-mail you return fedex label, which you print and mail back your old phone in same box for free. Since you're using their account for shipping they should know what day you send it etc.
If you see full price you're doing something wrong, go back and start over with getting approved first. It sounds more complicated than it is in reality, follow links for Note 7 users or something like that. They had my e-mail on file from N7 times, so they send me an offer for N8 and I followed links included there, but there are links on their website as well.
Don't forget to order free gift: 360 cam or SD card and wireless charger, if it's still available, I think this expires soon.
Man did I make a huge mistake. A $425 one. Well I didnt realize that you are supposed to get the $425 upfront. I thought it was given to you once you send in the trade in device. Well I paid $1000+ for my Note 8 and sent in my trade in device and never got the $425. I've been calling Samsung Promotions / E Commerce department for the last 1.5 months to get the $425! They keep saying I need to wait 3 to 5 days each time I call. The last time I called they said I need to wait 10 to 15 business days....... This is ridiculous.
Use Samsung credit. Pay 505 using Samsung credit. Wait till the check for your Note 7 comes back (if you held on to it this long like I did). Pay Samsung credit 505 from check. Pocket the $400+ left over. Profit.
