Personally ported this custom rom is different installation like other rom,, read carefully!!
1. Download the ROM from Downloads
2. Extract inside folder..named "Viper-shripad-v3.1.1"
and place it in external sd card.. Must place extracted folder in this path
/storage/sdcard/TWRP/BACKUPS/Moto_C/
3. Wipe everything execpt SDcard (Internal memory is optional).
4.Next Restore ,,Choose provided file ,located in sdcard
5.Tick all 3files system,boot,nvram..and swipe it.
6.Wait for restore complete..& then wipe dalvik cache..
5. Reboot.

Card SIM from brazil does not work
I and a friend we use this here, it is "adapted" for devices with 1GB of ram,
but I do not think the guy who made her will mess up some update she carries super slowly

I am facing the the following issues, If anyone knows the solution that would be really helpful
1) I don't know how to turn off the charger plug in/plug out sound, It is really annoying especially screetch sound
There is a option to enable the sound but it is not working either way.
2) On screen Navbar option is there but lenovo vibe k5 already has the dedicated navbar (on screen it is not coming).
3) All the rooted application asking for root permission every time when i open the application.
A question, does lockscreen weather work on this build?

Asked something like 4 times in december to push it official, be never got a "good" answer. So, I kind of give up.
I will maybe make a new unofficial build with latest upstream changes.

I just got issues with flashing, I tried this:
flashed pe recovery
formated data
rebooted to recovery
flashed the rom through ADB sideloade.
with nikgapps core
rebooted to system everything fine

Yeah, thanks bro, I did flashed successfully yesterday after asking. Seems all CAF ROMs are not so friendly with the Alpha build of TWRP. I tried with PERecovery and booted on 1st try!
A little pity that not many customizations yet ( one of the things we always look for on Custom ROMs ), besides of it, everythings else is faxking ROCKs. Smooth, battery management's cool ( only after 12hours using but can say that ), and so far not yet any major bugs.

I don't think if this is a bug but the "Auto" or the "Adaptive" brightness is suddenly goes dark then super bright. I think theres a problem with the sensor driver or else?

I don't think if this is a bug but the "Auto" or the "Adaptive" brightness is suddenly goes dark then super bright. I think theres a problem with the sensor driver or else?

This looks promising, i think it s the first CAF rom we have on Surya ?
From my little understanding this should means better optimisations than oss roms. (?)

Invert navigation button layout is missing and even though I flashed the most recent update, OTA keeps showing me there is an update available. Lastly, the splash screen gets stuck as well. Phone boots normally but it's aesthetically displeasing. Not a big deal.
I understand this is a nightly so I'll patiently wait for updates, but for now I'm sticking to AOSP until they come as lots of work needs to be done.
Does this rom still receive support? Would be nice to have a more "permanent" rom installed with ota

nice man, rom back from the grave !
One of the best rom for surya, I dont like miui,but still use most of the google apps, so this is one of the best replacement.
Works like a charm and I like that it has relatively good performance
Does anyone know how to bring smart charging to Android 12? I tried Battery Charge Limit [ROOT] on play Store
When that didn't work, I tried "advanced charging control" magisk module. Sadly, that didn't work as well
Is it just that Android 12 can't have smart charging because Google didn't like it?

Remember to copy the config file to a folder in your internal storage like this /GCam/Configs7/
I Just switch to this after remembering I loved it on my OnePlus 3T and I can safely say it still has that good feel too it and a well polished finish. We'll done!
Re gcam after trying above suggestion followed by a few others, I settled for MGC_8.1.101_A9_GV1zfix_ENG.apk which works for me!
this is such an amazing rom, the only thing i miss on this is not having themed icons for app drawer, does anyone know aworkaround besides lawnchair for it

I can't access my storage after install the rom. I can't also install any apps because it says that I don't have enough storage. Everytime I go to Settings > Storage, it says that "the storage stooped working." I followed the instructions. By the way, I used Orangefox and my MIUI version is 12.

I have noticed that there is a newer version available (version 8). Is it ok to use it?
and is it mandatory to use configuration file?
Flashed the ROM few days ago, works great.
One thing I couldn't find: Is there a setting that lockscreen wakes up on notifications? Lockscreen unfortunately stays dark when messages come in. When I double tap notifications are there, but no wake up on notifications.
This is a cool rom, it works well and it's customisable

It usually resides in the lock screen menu inside the display setting.
Why can you only have 3 user accounts on evox, but have up to 20 users on other ROMs?
