Problem with app Solid Explorer - Sony Xperia XZ1 Questions & Answers

App Solid Explorer won't recognize SD card on xperia XZ1. I have tried everything and nothing helps. Other explorers have no problems with recognizing SD card (X-plore, File Commander, Total Commander, ES File Explorer - have tried them to see if they have the same issue).
On Android Lollipop 5.1.1 is no problem with Solid Explorer recognizing SD card.
The other thing is that I can't connect to my pc via Wi-Fi. Solid Explorer finds computer, but it isn't possible to connect to him. That problem with connection to pc is in the other explorers also, except by Total Commander, with him works everything normal.
It seems that the problem is with windows that I have installed on this computer, because to the other pc (laptop) can I connect with other explorers with no problem.

I had the problem with the SD-card before the last few updates. They implemented support for external cards on Oreo in the meantime.

By me was always that problem, before updates and after the updates was the same thing. No problems with recognizing SD card with other explorers, before and after updates, just with Solid Explorer.

Can't copy from SD to External SD

I have a SGS2 with Lite'ning Rom v1.5 XXKF2.Besides the 16GB internal memory I have a 4GB microSD card also.My problem is that I can't copy images/videos or any files at all from the internal memory to my external memory.I have tried with 3-4 File managers so I know the progam isn't the problem.
Oh and by the way, no error message occurs. It shows that it is transfered (the loading bar fills) but nothing hapens. My only solution is to copy files from internal to pc through cable and then from pc to external through cable. All this with mass storage mode.To much time for something so simple.
Is there a solution?
I have the same question
Copied from external to SD trough ASTRO, but the content copied dissapaired.
Can you copy between the two phone drives in windows explorer without copying to PC first .
jje
I've tried it using Root Explorer and it works fine. I'm on stock ROM, just rooted it - nothing more.
I found that some file explorers had this copying issue. One that always works for me is Ghost Commander.

[Q] 64 GB Card on LGOG, AOSP

I am running AOSP 4.4.2 I bought a Strontium Nitro 64GB card. SDXC
Earlier it was not working but after reformatting it to FAT32 and using SDFix some progress happened.
The problems I am facing still:
1. After SDFix ES Explorer can see and access my card but many apps(like Rocket Music) are not able to scan mp3 files in it. If I go via ES Explorer and play it RM player plays it well.
2. USB Tethering is working fine, but I am not able to see my phone as storage when I connect it to PC. (When I flashed(AOSP 4.4.2) I didn't have sd card ). I tried reinstalling driver, restarting etc and fiddling with adb. Adb list my device when tethering is ON but not other wise.
TWRP(latest) doesn't recognize my SD Card.
3. Is it a Kitkat issue or 64GB issue? Can I put my game files etc on SD Card?
My 64gb card is working with AOSP 4.4.2.
1. I had some issues with media players initially. After some googling, I added the media_rw permission to write_external_storage in system/etc/permissions/platform.xml.
2. Did you check your USB connection settings? Also, fixing 1 may help.

[Q] Malfunctioning microSD card after unsafe USB Eject from PC.

So I just got a 64GB Samsung EVO microSD for my HTC One M8. I installed it, and plugged my phone into my pc to transfer some music onto it.
I started by moving the music off the device storage onto the card through windows explorer, and it seemed to be transferring fine. It was taking a while as I had about 7Gb of music on the device already. Then like an idiot I unplugged the phone from the new dock I just got and was trying to get to work with my phone cases, while the files were still transferring.
Now, it won't let me paste anything to the SD card or device storage. Dragging files across to the SD card or device just freezes the folder icon where I dropped it. I am using clover as a windows explorer augment, if that makes any difference. But it doesn't look like I can transfer anything to the SD card from my phone either, as I just tried moving the music across with ES file explorer, and it came up with an error about needing a root to write to SD.
I have tried formatting the microSD from the phone, uninstalling the pc drivers for the phone and letting it reinstall them. Tried removing the card then replacing it, and restarting the phone. I have tried using SnapPea to transfer files across, all to no avail. Strangely, SnapPea and ES File Explorer are listing two SD cards, the first being identical to the files on the device storage, and the second being the actual SD.
I have no idea what is going on. I don't have a card reader to try formatting the card without the phone involved, but it seems like ejecting the phone erroneously has messed up the device storage as well seeing as I can't transfer files to either from my PC now.

Can't write to external SD after software update

My H850 seems unable to write to my external SD card. I first noticed it when the camera app stopped saving photos to the card, and then tried copying files to the card using ES File Explorer and that can't write to the card either. The card has 40GB free according to Storage Settings (it's a 128GB Samsung card). If I take it out and plug it into a PC I have no problems writing to it.
This problem started happening around the time of the last software update (last week) - to versionV20i-234-30 (build NRD90U).
Any ideas?
...I've just discovered that I am able to delete files from the SD card (using ES File Explorer), although it takes a long time to do it (about 30 seconds to delete a 5MB file). Copying a file from one location to another on the SD card doesn't work.
I'm running the stock Android 7.0 ROM, unrooted

Send file from SD card via bluetooth?

Hi Guys,
Im trying to send an apk file from the SD card in my mi pad 4 to my phone. The built in file explorer has no option to do it so i installed ES file explorer, this too also has no option to send via bluetooth from the SD card. It has the option from internal storage but not from the SD card. Is this the same for you guys? Is there a fix for it?
Thanks
