yes it is official stock firmware, I was also able to re-lock my bootloader as well, something which others have said isn't possible right now, unfortunately Moto aren't providing updates to this model anymore so OTA update service is kind of pointless, NPP25-337.15 is the last update for this model of the G5, other models of the G5 did get a NPP25-337.33 update with a newer security patch which does work on the XT1675 model but someone from Motorola would know the system was tampered with if an update that's not available for this model was installed, that's why for the past 3 days looking for the XT1675 stock software and eventually found it

Motorola aren't exactly slow with updates, they would have done it by now, the latest software for our model is 1st Jan 2017 where as other models atleast got a security update a few months later
i've created a proper project page now, use this one - https://forum.xda-developers.com/g5/development/moto-g5-official-npp25-137-15-t3733919

I have XT1675 and have a security patch from November 1st 2017. Motorola has officially announced they will upgrade this device to Oreo.
In fact, I am pretty sure that there is no difference between the firmware for the XT1672 and XT1675. In fact, I am pretty sure that there is no difference between the firmware for the XT1672 and XT1675. The thread below (4th post) gives a version that I and someone else can confirm works for the XT1675, and I believe is the most up to date version.

I know the one you are on about, I used it 2-3 days ago.
Even though the official software for the XT1675 has an outdated security patch ( 1st January 2017 ) which I do dislike since another models ( XT1672 ) updated firmware works perfectly, This is for people who want to go all the way back to official XT1675 software that came with the phone. I have also seen 3-4 people ( there could also be more ) ask about how to go back to stock for the XT1675 version with the NPP25.137-15 software but got provided links to a firmware that doesn't officially belong to this device, how long ago did they confirm they will upgrade to Oreo because they seem to be taking a while compared to what they used to.

Hi everyone. Huge thanks for this firmware. Few questions...
1) With this firmware is it possible to update to Oreo via OTA? And if so...
- Is it still require to install Google Apps manually?
- Is it still include only Chinese and English language?
2) Any plans on Oreo firmware with multi-language support?

You must have a unlock.bin to flash it for unlock the bootloader complete. Then you can flash any firmware to Nokia 7!!The unlock.bin you can send a private messenger to “the _laser”who can find at the Nokia6 forum. You mist give you code,imei1,imei2,meid,then he will send you a unlock.bin which can only unlock your phone. And have it to unlock the bootloader, you can flash your phone freely!!
Which languages are included?
Google Services inside or not?
Thanks

Could anyone say if reflashing with this firmware "fixes" the Chinese phone feature where all the apps close in background? (for e.g. you never get whatsapp notifications until you open whatsapp and so on)
Also, does this version come with preinstalled google play and services?
Thanks in advance guys

I have exactly the same problem about apps closing on the background and not showing notifications, until I open the apps (whtasapp, facebook, snapchat, etc).
The only to solve this problem, will be if someone build a new global rom on stock android for the NOKIA 7 TA-1041.

[Moto G5S Plus][ROM][All Regions] Moto Stock Firmwares/Captured OREO OTAs

Hi Folks!
Single thread for all the fastboot flashable stock firmwares and official OTAs.
Captured OREO 8.1.0 OTAs can be found in a separate folder, Check the region specific folders and DO READ THE DESCRIPTION OF THE FILES FOR MORE INFORMATION.
Make sure you are on unmodified stock rom with build number NPSS26.116-61-11(For RETIN Region OTA) and NPSS26.116-64-11(For RETBR Region OTA) before flashing/installing it, or else it wont flash/install.
Bootloader status does NOT matter, so unlocked guys can install it too, just make sure you have flashed stock first via fastboot.
Edit: Uploaded the fastboot flashable firmware OPS28.65-36.
Those who have unlocked bootloader can flash it via fastboot.
Locked bootloader ones can use the OTA files but make sure you are on eligible firmware.

Fastboot Flashable Firmwares: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=214680
Captured OTAs: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=282605
Suggestions:
Never re-lock your device's bootloader.
Never downgrade your firmware.

This can be flashed without the device being unlocked using the locked.bat file (I think).

A little info on your part may help here, ie. the model of your phone or your location as the Android 9 (Pie) has very limited release for the single sim and the dual sim is only slightly better.. There are a few ways to flash firmware a) Sony Flashtool or b) Newsflasher c) Adb, search the XDA a bit there are some excellent guides on how to use both... ( homework time)
Also you may want to mention what OS you have on your computer as installing drivers for adb, fastboot ect. vary for each, windows 7 and 8 are pretty basic but on 10 you will need to disable the signature verification before you can install the drivers and Linux is a whole other thing.. so give us some info.. read a bit and get back to us.

You can have a look here ( https://xpericheck.com/device/G8341 ) and you can see if it has been released in you region yet if not then you won't be able to do it by Ota yet..
Here's how to check your build version (region). I found this method here
Open the dialler
Enter *#*#7378423#*#* and press dial
Tap on Service info
Tap on Software info
Look for Customization Version

I unlocked my bootloader. As long as you are fine with your warranty being void I don't wee what it could hurt to do so. I am trying to figure out if different firmware can be installed also

I really don't care about warranty.. I got it for $199. I'm going to use it without a case / screen protector, that's how I am!
