====================
1. INTRODUCTION:
Usually I don't share my setup, but many friends have convinced me to share it so here we are.
It's a pretty straight-forward experience; A debloated or "barebone" ROM.
The reason I put quotation marks is because of the ROM's nature; It's still stock with only the absolute necessary lot of apps and fairly stripped down TouchWiz.
No Samsung Account, No device manager with McAfee, No Sammy Weather, No SLocation, no knox and some other tearing down.
2. FEATURES:
- Based off Stock + Stock Kernel (odexed)
- Rooted with latest Magisk (currently: 16.7)
- Multi-CSC
- Debloated (No unecessary bg-process)
- Removed KNOX and RLC (to avoid OEM Lock)
- Added AppLock
- Added Greenify as a stronger alternative to Sammy's Manager
- Biometrics still work within S-Browser
- Bixby key mapped to Google Assistant.
3. INSTALLATION:
1. Download ROM and put it somewhere on internal storage
2. Boot into twrp
3. Do a standard wipe
4. Install LightWeightWiz
5. Done! Now you can reboot.
4.DOWNLOAD
Google Drive:

F.A.Q
Q: SafetyNet fails!!
A: After you've setup your device (Google account etc.) you should reboot once. Afterwards you should pass SafetyNet without any problems.
Q: Can you add a ROM-Control ?
A: Not really if I'm honest. Substratum offers enough theming/ visual modification for me personally.
Q: Any CSC-Mod included?
A: I've planned to add them in the future, yet some don't like them/ don't bother. I'll include a follow-up guide on how to add CSC features.
Q: Can you add XYZ ?
A: You can ask for sure, I'll give it a thought. If it's within my reach, sure!
Q: WHEN IS NEXT UPDATE
A: Whenever it's ready. relax.

Have been running an older variant of this since forever, dunno if it's a placebo but the ROM just feels smooth without Samsung's background services (cloud, account).
Has been a pain to find the proper files and to clean it.
An AROMA -variant will follow whenever I have some more time, would allow to choose between Samsung's and Google's stock apps depending on the user.
Yet again, those would defeat the purpose of the CSC mods.
ROM works good, but just i miss Samsung Account.apk and in some apps the option paste not appears.

Please, it's just 3 posts above, read. See BUGS and decide if this can be a daily driver for you.
For ME, when Wifi is fixed, it will be a daily driver. And I will wait patientily until then, helping the dev whenever I can testing releases.

Is USB tethering work?
when NFC will be working ?
Is it even possible for NFC to make it to working?
Ask it another time in the same page please. If it was possible it would've been done already. Probably working on it, figuring out how to do it or just busy with other stuff. Be patient and be glad that some of these devs are working in this device.

Asking for ETA is against XDA forum rules and disrespectful to the developer.
It will be done when it's done. If you can't wait, use stock.

If you are on MIUI 11 - Android 10, you WILL need to downgrade to Android 9! This method will not work if you're on Android 10. Use MiFlashPro or fastboot to flash all partitions to a compatible MIUI 10 or 11 Android 9 build.

Pushed a new update on GitHub Releases. Here is the changelog:
- Updated safe media volume warning level
- Hided sRGB toggle in developer options
- Fixed Ambient display and enabled Always on Display
- Fixed brightness issues by importing overlays from Google Pixel (marlin)
- Added Trust Hal, see it in Privacy Settings
- Enable option for full-screen aspect ratio
- Added notch overlay, this makes center clock and network speed indicator unavailable as they are unsupported with notched devices
- Added led notification and battery led customization options, see it in Notifications settings
- Turned on WiFi MAC randomization
- Hex-edited MTK RIL lib to fix incoming calls
- Upstreamed kernel to v4.14.158
The hotspot is also working, however, it's buggy. You need to remove SIM cards to make it work. That will be fixed in future builds (hopefully).

Which ROM to choose if I liked LineageOS?

I can now unlock bootloader on my POCO X3 NFC. It is for Russian market and my current ROM is 12.0.3.0(QJGRUXM). According to manuals I've read, I'll have to flash International ROM V12.0.(3 or 4 or 5).0.QJGMIXM first, otherwise Wi-Fi and Bluetooth won't work.
I'm having difficulties selecting custom ROM. I hoped community could help me.
I'd like to have on my POCO X3 NFC:
MicroG or OpenGapps Pico.
AFWall+ (needs root)
AdAway (needs root)
AppOpsX (needs root)
F-Droid
Google Play Market
K-9 Mail
NewPipe
YouTube Vanced
KeePassDX
OpenKeyChain
I'd like to avoid installing SuperSU. I'd prefer Magisk.
I'll have to install banking software so SafetyNet checks must be passed OK.
Previously I've tried and liked LineageOS on my Mi 5s (capricorn).
I've watched on YT reviews of ArrowOS (looked like LineageOS to me) and RessurectionRemix (it seems to have intimidating quantity of customization options).
Considering above, which custom ROM you'd recommend for me to install?
Currently I'm looking at:
[ROM][10] LineageOS 17.1 (unofficial) [SURYA]KARNA]
[ROM] [11.0.0] ArrowOS POCO X3 [OFFICIAL][SURYA] - Vanilla build.
[ROM] ► [11.0] ► Nitrogen OS Beta
BTW, Android 10 or 11?
ArrowOS (Android 11) + F1xy kernel
You need to flash latest MIUI before flashing ArrowOS. You can download latest xiaomi.eu ROM and than flash ArrowOS to make it easier. Current latest MIUI version is 12.0.7 for surya & 12.0.8 for karna. You will have vanilla or gapps ArrowOS. Choose Gapps build. Install Magisk in TWRP after flashing ArrowOS & kernel. SafetyNet passes out of the box. seLinux is enforcing. Signature spoofing is supported.
So this are the steps for installing ArrowOS + F1xy kernel:
0. Unlock bootloader
1. Flash latest TWRP/OrangeFox recovery with fastboot command: fastboot flash recovery name-of-recovery.img
2. Be sure that you're on latest MIUI version (MIUI 12.0.7 for surya, 12.0.8 for karna)
2a. If you're not on MIUI but on custom ROM at the moment, you need to flash latest xiaomi.eu ROM (12.0.7 at the moment) with TWRP/OrangeFox than Format Data, Wipe Cache & Dalvik Cache
3. After you booted xiaomi.eu, reboot to TWRP/OrangeFox, Flash all this packages in order:
- ArrowOS
- F1xy custom kernel
- Magisk
4. Format Data, Wipe Cache & Dalvik Cache
5. Reboot.
Now you're on ArrowOS.
BTW, I prefer Aqua Mail to K9 Mail as it's much better optimized & has amazing features.
Thanks, @SkaboXD. Kind of. I specifically mentioned I want to avoid proprietary GApps. And assessing programs list one could tell that I prefer Free (as in Freedom) and OpenSource programs.
Also, I have very serious privacy and safety concerns installing custom kernel. I trust AOSP much more.

Than install Vanilla build of ArrowOS instead and flash Gapps you want (OpenGapps, NikGapps or FlameGapps...) and don't install F1xy kernel. You will miss on useful features & increased performance with good battery life though. And if you're concerned about privacy, why are you using Gapps in the first place?

Open Gapps is a different kind of animal. Unavoidable evil. But I want to decrease harm done to me.
If I was really concerned about privacy and health, I wouldn't use spying tracker cell phone at all.
If you're into privacy I *really* can recommend FairEmail ... you can also get releases from Github: https://github.com/M66B/FairEmail
Pretty much on the same boat as OP...
FYI, after trying a couple of the custom ROMs, I settled on Xiaomi.eu (currently v12.0.7.0 stable) for the time being and am waiting for PX3 LineageOS 17.1 (https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/4202533/) to become official -- and the MicroG build which will ensue and my preferred target ROM.
On the subject of GApps, I still want to retain access to the Google app store, I just want to avoid my device being colonized by the big G. Last I checked -- through ClassyShark3xodus -- no app required as many permissions as Google Play Services: way over 200, no less, seemingly every possible one!
Time will tell, I guess.

My experience with LineageOS with Open GApps Pico on Capricorn (Mi 5s) confirms that Google Play is working fine. All synchronization is working. All confirmations (you are trying to log in on other device: please check your phone) are working. Banking software is working.
I chose to wait for LineageOS with another custom ROM installed. I've decided to install ArrowOS. Maybe I'll stay on it.
For the history. I'll add benchmark data here as I move through ROMs.

Great.
Main reasons I settled on Xiaomi.eu is a) to retain the native camera app and b) because my work wifi requires a certificate I was unable to use on ArrowOS.

Hey there, I'm saving your mini guide to use on my Poco X3 when it arrives early next month.
However, let me ask you: is that rom really stable for a daily driver? I don't want to keep changing roms because of things breaking up like GPS, NFC, Banking apps etc.

Everything works. I don't use NFC, I just tried Android Beam with Nokia 808 Pureview and it didn't worked. Couldn't send the file with Poco X3 while i could send the file with Nokia 808 Pureview. However, that could be the incompatibility with Symbian. Didn't test it any further.

On 31.01.2021 I have installed ArrowOS. I used Orange Fox recovery. Contrary to all installation manuals, my very first boot into ArrowOS was like 30 seconds or less. And it was encrypted.
I've RTFM and installation went smooth and fast.
So far I like ArrowOS a lot. Sleek and fast. However, LineageOS seems to have more customization options.
And I can't make Text-to-Speech engine to work. I've already sent a bug report with LOG file to developers.

Banking apps work fine and so does NFC, I use contactless NFC payment almost on a daily basis.
Safety net passes right out of the box so banking apps will have no problem with it.
ArrowOS + stock ArrowOS kernel.
Hello I'm looking for a ROM without Gapps which allows me to pass SafetyNet check? Is that possible?
I have already tried crDroid, ArrowOS and StagOS.
Tried Universal SafetyNet Fix, MagiskHide Props Config, no success unfortunately, maybe I'm missing something or maybe it's not even possible to pass SafetyNet without Gapps.
Any help is appreciated.

LOS17.1 unofficial passes safetynet (method to use is described in first or third post of thread)
If only LOS (for microG) would already be official for the POCO X3 NFC, then the decision which way to go would be crystal clear to me!
But I have to decide now and I want OTA + signature spoofing (to be able to use microG instead of Gapps), which currently has set my mind on ArrowsOS for simplicity and stability.
Not having any experience with ArrowsOS yet, I don't know if I'm going to stick to it or will move over to LOS for microG once that one is officially available.
The main advantages of using LOS for microG are the included backup solution, call recorder and of course microG, which is pretty much exactly what I'm looking for.

Built with some Andy's patches & recommendations, also even without "ALLOW_MISSING_DEPENDENCIES=true" flag. And system can run with SELinux enforced state, as original Phh AOSP GSI. Fully compatible with PHH-Treble patches. Has dynamic root which can be activated/deactivated without reboot - 'su' binary and SuperUser app (can works on all devices even with system read-only). • excluding fixes, the same as on all R GSI (in some cases doesn't work: broadcasting on TV, calls via BT; offline charging does not work normally etc etc)
NOTE: always test ROM first without Magisk (with clean boot ramdisk). and don't send me bug reports if you have:
a) Magisk installed
b) modified/custom vendor or kernel
c) dirty flashing rom without wiping data
d) modified props values (another device fingerprint and so on)

awesomeness
Excelent work
This gsi smooth and stable, but i guess bliss team not put all cuztomise setting yet. And they change from lineage to aosp with this version
Hi folks, as you maybe know all my GSI works suspended
Build server damaged and now for maintenance, I haven't information about his further fate
So... I don't know when I can resume my GSI building
By the way, this is not my server, literally I can't do anything to help
I can't even send money, my country is not supported in many payment systems
If you want to help, you can send donations to https://www.paypal.com/paypalme/electrikjesus
(he is the owner of the server, and he long gives me his server - I made a lot of GSI builds on it)
I have a Blackview BV9600E phone, and ROM file "bless-v306-210502-arm64-bgZ.img" runs perfect.
Only has a little thing that was aviable on previous revision: LED NOTIFICATIONs has no control, so I must install a led control APK from Google PlayStore (LIGHT FLOW).
Also, System Camera is very poor, but runs perfectly.
The problem I cannot solve is aviable Gpaid to use NFC, because it detects "non original ROM", because I think I have not rooted system.
We are expecting new revision (Like Samsung has yet new beta).
Many thanks.

try this:
SafetyNet Pass needed for many things, this is an important feature of Android. It needed for Play Store certification, GPay etc. Some apps (like bank clients) even can't run if SafetyNet broken
In my nowadays GSIs users have three normal ways to pass SafetyNet (always clean Google Play market data after changes)
a. just enable SafetyNet option (recommended) - and don't forget disable SuperUser first!
b. enable also "Spoof Pixel 5" (leave SafetyNet enabled) and reboot
c. create empty file /system/phh/secure with root file manager and reboot (if your device support RW system access)

Call Recording options does not appears on this rom.
I must install an APK to record it (using ROOT to works fine).
But 4PDA friends, tell me that it must appears on this rom: What´s happend ?

ROM][12.1.0][Himaul/himawl] LineageOS 19.1 [Unofficial]

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 12.1 (S), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
Code:
#include <std_disclaimer.h>
/*
* Your warranty is now void.
*
* We are not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
* thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
* do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
* before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
* you point the finger at us for messing up your device, we will laugh at you.
*
*/
LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. You will need to provide your own Google Applications package (gapps). LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for Lineage OS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to Lineage OS, please visit our Gerrit Code Review. Your changelog is whatever was merged into gerrit.

confirmed - sim card is not detected also on GSM-devices.
Hey man, thanks for the build.
This was my first flash on my old HTC M9, straight from Sense 7 to Android 12. Same issue for me with the SIM Card(GSM).
Also in addition:
1) the camera works in SDR, but not in HDR and the camera app crashes if HDR is selected and photo taken afterwards, but only sometimes.
2) System UI crashes, up to device restarts while managing settings and rotating screen, using the new rotate screen button which appears in the left corner, sometimes.
I did see the issues pretty much straight in the first 30 mins after the flash. It might settle with time or after some restarts. Other than that works fluid so far for me.
Big thank to Claymore for the time and efforts you put to the ROM!
I flashed the ROM along with gapps, and the phone boots well.
Two issues I found are selinux not enforcing and camera not connected, but its ok for me.
Thank you again!
Youre the best, i tried by my self but was failing at kernel part haha
Hello, and thank you @Claymore1297 for this wonderful release. Same issue here with the not detected Sim Card.
Sim card issue is solved... Will wait for January ASB's and push another build

Also the "battery-display-as-text-on-taskbar"-setting doesn't seem to work + usb-preferences to file-transfer does nothing (phone no detected by laptop @ win11 pro)
Hey and hello dear 'XDA-COMMUNITY'!!
I hope its OK that i write my question in this thread.
First and foremost beacause of your fantastic work!
"Shout out - to all of you" for keeping these possibilities alive.
I first took a look in your readme-section of this device but to be honest...
Didnt understand each step in terms of updating the firmware version-main: 1.32.161.7 (in my case).
Even though i understood it seems to be necessary for newer lineageOS and twrp versions...... correct, or wrong?
Since i am a very beginner with android, there might be a lot of things i need to get to know...
But... here the things i already know (about the device).

*** UNLOCKED ***
*** S-ON ***
kernel: lk
product: htc_himauhl
version: 1.0
version-main: 1.32.161.7
boot-mode: download
version-bootloader: 1.0.0.0000
mid: 0PJA10000
cid: VODAP102
--
The phone seems to be completely empty... No Android main operating system installed.
TWRP is installed but an old version... 2.8.7- i guess
I already setted up my pc with ADB/fastboot/ and drivers
I think (as far as i understood) to get a lineageOs e.g. 17.1 or newer (19) installation work
i need to update the version-main: 1.32.161.7 to at least 4.xx and a get a newer version of twrp
?right/wrong?
Would be very fine and helpful if someone can give an advice about
what to do and in which order to get it "proper" working, if possible...
Thank you for your time-
kind regards from Germany
Bruse
P.S.:
For example, are or would these files be a good "path" to go or at least near by for updating
version-main: 1.32.161.7 to 4.xx.xxx.xx?

Hello @Bru.Se ,
IMHO it's simple. You download the TWRP version from this Thread and install it. After you install one of the Lineage OS Versions from here or Stock Rom for TWRP.
Is it possible to port the rom to another device with the same SOC i.e. HTC 10 Evo ?
