What is this?
Basically by installing this application, as soon as you receive a notification, the front flash of your phone starts blinking as it were a notification LED.
It can be useful to all those (but not only) that have a device without the notification LED, but instead have a flash next to the selfie camera.
It also extends the concept of notification to the unread badges received from the applications (e.g the "Facebook like"). So, when an unread badge occours, in the same way as a "normal" notification the flash starts blinking and you will be notified of what's going on.
Various settings are also available to better configure the application to suit your needs.
It works on all devices equipped with a front flash, regardless of whether or not it has the hardware notification LED.
Tests have been performed on Samsung devices, in particular but not only on the J series.

Does the J3 (2017) have a front flash because I can't get the app to work as if I'm a noob at this?

Okay, just search Flash in settings app and press the last option. You should be able to do it through the system default settings app. I have it enabled right now, you don't need a 3rd party app to do it

Oh, that's sad. I'm currently using version 1.0 and it does have Brazilian Portuguese.
If you want, i can do individually build with the desired locale, and include it in future updates
That would be great. Portuguese Brazil and English and I'm pretty happy, lite version?
Thank you for you nice work.
Thank you very much!
it's a very great OS!
brlag, sent you a PM with a link to the build
How can I fix the weak vibration problem of Lumia 710 in this new ROM? I always miss the calls when my phone is in pocket!
And also, this great thread should be moved to Lumia 800 Development Forum!!!
um, in comparison with the rest of my FW, here I just replaced this key
Code:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ ControlPanel \ SoundCategories \ Ring \ RingerOnVibrateOn]
"Script" = "av0.1w0.3v0.3w0.3v0.1w0.3v0.3w0.3v0pr"
to default nokia value
Code:
"Script" = "av0.1w0.3v0.3w0.3v0.1w0.3v0.3w0.3v0"
Could you be more specific about this: "search key remapping"?
And by the way, it would be great if hard buttons can wake the device instead of only power button as current!
This application allows you to assign the button "search" in any of their application, or www bookmark. Unlock the screen is not yet supported

ASOP features for EUI

Hi all, I have developed a small Xposed module to tweak EUI. It can disable most of the EUI customizations and bring back vanilla android features.
Features
Disable EUI Lockscreen, Status Bar and Notifications
Disable EUI Control Center for Default app switcher
Enable Vanilla Lockscreen with Fingerprint support
Enable Vanilla 3D Recent apps (no clear all button yet as they use lollipop source even in marshmallow )
Enable default Status Bar and Quick Settings (even with System UI Tuner, long press settings icon in QS to enable)
Transparent Notifications in Lockscreen (like EUI)
Dark Material theme notifications in drawer (Light Material didn't work properly)
All notification icons in Status Bar (instead of 3 dot icon by EUI)
Force enable Standard scale mode. (EUI doesn't allow you change Zoom mode after boot image patch)
Android's Multi-user support (switch from quick settings)
Semi-transparent status bar patch for EUI apps.
There are more small tweaks I didn't mention here. The module is still work in progress. I have only tested it in EUI 5.8 on Le2 (X526) since I only have that device. It should theoretically work on other devices assuming EUI code base remains same. Not sure about version below 5.8 and Android Lolipop (testers are welcome, use Xposed uninstaller if you ran into some trouble).
How to Install Module
Unlock bootloader and root your device (many tutorials available )
Install Xposed version 86 (follow steps provided below)
Install module APK (attached with post)
Open EUI Moder app and enable and disable things as you wish
Reboot to see changes
How to Install Xposed
Visit http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3034811

Download uninstaller from http://dl-xda.xposed.info/framework/uninstaller/xposed-uninstaller-20150831-arm64.zip
Download Xposed APK from http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=3383776 (or XposedInstaller_3.0-XX.apk)
Copy all three to internal memory
Flash xposed-v86-sdk23-arm64.zip from TWRP. (Do not flash xposed-uninstaller-20150831-arm64.zip unless Xposed cause you problems)
Reboot and Install Xposed APK

Enabling recent apps or disabling control center won't work on EUI 5.5 (thanks to gajendrakn87 at LeMe forum )

[APP] PaceOff |3.0|ROOT| Quickly Restart or Turn off Pace/Stratos with Auto-Shutdown

PaceOff v1.3

Just a small app to quickly restart or turn off Amazfit Pace. It also works on Stratos. This is one of my Pace(X) series (On, Off, Up & Down).
I made this for my personal use, mostly to save the battery. For whatever reason, it may be useful for some of us here.
Non-root version here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/smartwatch/amazfit/paceoff-v3-0non-root-quickly-restart-t3780486
Disclaimer:
I am not responsible for any bad things caused by using this app, and blah, blah, blah.
The app is free for personal use.
Instruction:
The app requires SuperSu root. Most custom ROMs are already rooted. If yours is not, you may have a look at this. https://forum.xda-developers.com/smartwatch/amazfit/local-root-amazfit-watch-supersu-2-79-t3711327
Just sideload the apk. This can be done using ADB.
Here is how.
Usage:
Quick reboot, Quick Shutdown
Note that there is no confirmation screen here. Click a button, then boom!
Shutdown Scheduler
It turns off the watch automatically at a configurable time.
Battery Level Shutdown
It turns off the watch automatically at a configurable battery level.
After Boot Autostart
It automatically starts the shutdown scheduler after booting. The watch, therefore, can be turned off automatically at a configurable time or battery level daily.
Changelog:
Version 1.0
- Initial release
Version 1.3
- Code optimized
- Faster Load Time
- Bigger Buttons
- keeping the screen on while running in the foreground
Version 2.0
- Shutdown scheduler added
- After boot autostart added
The watch can be turned off automatically at a configurable time daily.
Version 3.0
- Confirmation Toast Messages added
- Battery Level Shutdown added
The watch can also be turned off automatically at a configurable battery level.
awesome!
a small feature to save the battery - auto-turn-off when reaching 11 percent of battery, or user controllable, its strongly advised not to go under 15 percent.
PaceOff 2.0
Version 1.3 and 2.0 are up (OP updated).
Changelog:
Version 1.3
- Code optimized
- Faster Load Time
- Bigger Buttons
- keeping the screen on while running in the foreground
Version 2.0
- Shutdown scheduler added
- After boot autostart added
The watch can be turned off automatically at a configurable time daily.
Coming feature: Shutdown at a configurable battery level
Thanks for the app and the new version. I just had an idea, for those who don't have root... Maybe it's possible to activate the shutdown menu simulating the button long press? Or maybe using "adb shell pm grant app.name android.permission.WRITE_SECURE_SETTINGS" to grant PaceOff elevated privileges?
Regards

Thanks for the idea.
Actually, that was my attempt too, but it didn't quite work. I somehow need REBOOT and SHUTDOWN permissions which cannot be granted using the pm command.
Anyway, I have figured out a way for non-root users to use the exact same functions of this app. Once, I release its final version, I will also have a non-root version of it.
PaceOff v3.0
Version 3.0 is up (OP updated).
Changelog:
Version 3.0
- Confirmation Toast Messages added
- Battery Level Shutdown added
The watch can also be turned off automatically at a configurable battery level.
This is the last version as it needs to be. No new features will be added. I will only fix critical bugs if any.
For non-root users who have their bootloader unlocked, non-root versions of PaceOff are coming soon in another thread.
Edit: non-root version here. https://forum.xda-developers.com/smartwatch/amazfit/paceoff-v3-0non-root-quickly-restart-t3780486

I guess always. In his other Hydrogen Thread someone reported the phone won't boot after trying to connect to WiFi.
These roms should be very similar I think.
