After downloading the Catlog app, go to the app settings, and change the log level to Debug.
Clear all previous logs and take the exact steps to produce the error you are receiving. As soon as you receive the error (probably a force close), go straight into Catlog and stop the log recording.
Copy and paste the entire log either to Hastebin or Pastebin
Save the log, and copy and paste the link into the thread with a brief description of the error.

About Nexus 6P (Angler)
I'm working on the angler build now.
There were some differences between it and Shamu that have me concerned that it still won't boot past splash, but I won't know until someone test flashes it for me in a few hours. If it doesn't boot past splash, then I'm pretty sure of what needs to be changed to make it work.

surprised no initial feedback on shamu build yet

Testing Shamu build, all smooth as always (NFC appears grey, but meh). The only thing is about throtling, who disable it?

Dunno? I noticed that too with NFC going grey once enabled. Don't know what you're referring to with the throttling.

Sometimes the freq down to 1,5 Ghz by (i'll think) thermal throtle, but even at 39ºC is getting to 1,7. I'll test anyway

Pretty sure NFC was a known issue for a long time. Maybe lineage hasn't resolved it yet but Beltz and other camcory based roms have it fixed. Other common issues to check for are things like BT pairs not keeping, BT not properly re-connecting and no deep sleep when using BT
Haven't loaded yet can you tell me if the following few features are in RR OREO yet:
Smartbar
Battery LED control
Expanded Desktop
Double tap to wake at least in kernel support if not in settings

I'll look in the morning. It look as though they have most of their features in it. Whether or not they work is yet to be tested though.
If anyone finds a Gapps package or knows of a means to resolve the Play Store issue, let me know.
This issue again is that the Play Store does not recognize that you've already purchase paid apps, so it attempts to get you to buy them again rather than let you download what was already purchased.

These are the gapps I always use and never had an issue with. The link I got them from is no longer active but try them and see if they work for you.
If they do work please host them elsewhere as this is in my private dropbox.

Angler

@Neo - I noticed forceencrypt is enabled in the boot.img. Is that intended or just missed in the build?

I'm not sure how well this will work, I believe this is the same one I installed on my Nexus 7 2013 that I jumped to 8.1 just a few weeks ago. I'll check tomorrow but if it is I haven't had any problems at all with it.

These are UNOFFICIAL/DEVELOPER builds based off the still very alpha CM-13.0 for Google Nexus 6 (shamu) devices and by NO means this is my ROM. I am just compiling from

* Sorry for the delay, fresh new build. VoLITE seems to work now as well as a lot of other small bugs were fixed. basically now its just a wait and see game on when all the CM goodies get added back in
Oct 28
* Fixed soft reboot on incoming calls, might fix MMS for CDMA users as well
Oct 23
* initial build of cm-13.0/Android 6.0 THERE WILL BE BUGS so think before you post dumb stuff
* Most features work, there is no SMS/MMS app in CM source right now so you MUST download Google Messenger for SMS/MMS to work AT ALL

Not to contradict you but are you sure about recommending the benzo gapps as the only "recommended" ones? Almost all the gapps, including benzo, have been a huge PITA for me. The only ones that work without issue are the pure nexus ones by beans.
Just asking cuz you said in the OP only to report bugs with the recommend gapps. And like I said those gapps don't play nice, at least from my experience.
Nice, downloading now to give this a spin! Thanks for the support

There is absolutely nothing wrong with benzo gapps, pure nexus is good. If you want bare minimum gapps zephiks over at the chroma thread works great as well. They are benzos but modified to be bare bones.

Yay! Looks excellent so far! Thanks so very much!
A couple of things:
I didn't find any "Advanced reboot" in the Developer settings (or anywhere else, for that matter)
Nor did I find any Superuser option in Settings.
I couldn't get SMS to work. I did install Google Messenger from the play store. Do I need to install an Android 6.0 radio separately or is there some other setting I might need to change (I'm on Verizon)?

Sounds good. I'll flash now. Thanks for making this rom.
Took a couple screens of issues.
Checking for an update seems to fail
Lockscreen weather isn't working (maybe I'm doing something wrong)
And I was wondering what captive portal detection was. Never seen it before. I'll continue to try and find issues
All and all, seems very stable on my end. These issues I have are not major issues. Battery seems good so far too. I'm using banks dynamic gapps also

I haven't yet decided whether I'll take up the role of being the maintainer for bacon, which is the prerequisite for acquiring the Official status. So for the time being, builds will continue to be Unofficial, meaning there won't be OTA updates.
Moreover, going through their Gerrit code review, I saw this as one of the subject: "retire nameless ota"
https://review.nameless-rom.org/#/c/924/
So, I'm not really sure whether this means that they're bringing down OTA.

Edit
Heyyo, just a heads up for anyone in this thread who uses MultiROM currently I've been experiencing issues with bootloops with Oreo as a secondary ROM and it seems to be affecting even my Nougat ROMs with sdcardfs disabled as well.
Be sure anything important is backed up before you try just in case you get the same grief.
More info about my unlucky experience is in a recent post in the MultiROM thread.
This ROM also didn't have an on screen keyboard when I tested it without OpenGapps so you'll definitely want any version of OpenGapps.

Heyyo, oh weird! I thought that was because I was missing OpenGapps all together heh. Yeah I guess the ROM should come with an AOSP on screen keyboard
OpenGapps Sock does come with Gboard so that would be a workaround for meow until Omni 8 has AOSP keyboard
A real race of developpers... we got three different roms of Oreo with almost the same bugs.. what about to work together to build one ?

Heyyo, err if you check the source codes on GitHub they are essentially doing that but they're also working on different ROM bases.
Same could be said about all custom ROM development that happened on Marshmallow back in the day and same with Nougat.
Heck, BS kernel being a prime example of working with a developer who works on the LeEco Le Pro 3 and we have developers here who port it and keep updated ports for the Le Max 2.
Hey. It's great to hear that the camera finally works.. How's the battery life of this rom? Is there any difference than Nougat?

Heyyo, it's growing pains bro. The earliest release of Omni 8 so issues were bound to arise.
The way to get past this bug is to install OpenGapps Stock or higher as they would come with GBoard.
It seems to be a ROM bug that it doesn't come with any AOSP keyboard. So my guess is andr68rus would either have to manually add in an AOSP keyboard or wait for Omni 8 to add it in.

Yeah but a ROM without stock keyboard seems ridiculous for me. No offence of course. Thx for the dev for his hard work and thank you for the reply.. Can you tell me plz if the orea rom does have better battery performance or not.. What was your SoT? Can you send an ss?

You are answer yourself on your question: we are work together to make our device work with oreo, so we have same bugs. We are just support different ROMs.
About fingerprint, it work in my last local build, that was rom-specific bug.
Also, i want to remind everyone that this rom is EXPEREMENTAL and only for TESTING now, it cant be daily driver and have a lot of bugs.
So Omni has same rotation bug as AICP?

Cool, thanks for making it work with encryption. I never wanted to mess with backing everything up, and formatting. I've only gone back and forth between 2 ROMs cause that's all that supported encryption.
Very nice. :fingers-crossed:

I can find 14 I can find 21, the only 20 I found was 56Meg which is incorrect, as it can not be complete. From what I understand Beta 20 was pulled and replaced by 21. Try a search for "Beta 20" or "OB20" in this forum it matches exactly nothing, except for the Firmware thread which only has the 56Meg version which is not a full install-able version. Can 21 which does have multiple links work?

Hey thanks for updating this for us. I'm on the 11/5 release of Liquid from the previous thread, and I know clean flash is always recommended, but can I dirty flash? The Telegram channel in OP is the same as the previous thread, just unsure if it's the same rom or not??
I just ve flashed yesterday the bliss rom and I miss some features (importants for me). Can this rom power on/off the torch with the power button? the double click to it opens the camera (it's good this feature too! bliss have it this). Do you've some problem in install widgets? I can only install a 10% of my widgets, no one's can t help me, we think is a known bug (important!).
Thanks!
Is there any issue if we are on OB21 firmware?

I'm in love with this ROM, unfortunately I'm unable to connect my USB C headphones (Xiaomi USB ANC earphones). On Stock OOS with arter97 kernel it wasn't a big deal. How can I fix this problem?
Thank you for your amazing work!

Resurrection Remix the ROM has been based on LineageOS, SlimRoms, Omni and original Remix ROM builds, this creates an awesome

If you have a major bug to report that has not been reported already, please take the following steps to report it to us. It will save you, Team Resurrection Remix and me quite some time.
Download the MatLog app from the Play Store.
After downloading the MatLog app, go to the app settings, and change the log level to Debug.
Clear all previous logs and take the exact steps to produce the error you are receiving. As soon as you receive the error (probably a force close), go straight into MatLog and stop the log recording.
Copy and paste the entire log either to Hastebin or Pastebin
Save the log, and copy and paste the link into the thread with a brief description of the error.

Thx for that, but I'm a little bit confused;
Did you developed that version of pie or villarleg?
Because villarleg's version got already promoted by @Lethalben (https://forum.xda-developers.com/le-pro3/development/resurection-remix-7-0-0-t3893465)
Thanks
Edit:
Sorry, just saw your post in the thread above, you're the new maintainer! Nice job
A special thank you to VillarLeg will be welcome!
His the first maintener, and without him, there is nothing and without you to @AgustinLorenzo!
Thanks to all for keeping this Rom alive. Resurrection Remix is living up to its name once again.
Looking forward to seeing the next build.

First shutdown and the phone goes in EDL mode.
After the reboot, look to the battery! I loose more than 25%!?!
Incredible!
If anybody have an explication, you're welcome!
@AgustinLorenzo
I see that the Live Display is already implemented. Is there a plan to also include Color Profile?
Currently, Lineage is the only Pie rom with that feature and it would be nice to have an another rom that offer correct color display.

Did you a normal shutdown? Otherwise it could be because its cold outside. My phone and its battery reacts "allergy" to temperatures below 6-7° celsius. I experienced also a reboot after that in EDL, with an instant battery drain about 20-40%.

I'm also aren't on AOSIP, I use AICP.
Batteries, especially lithium-ionen, got big problems with temperature. It is a normal thing to expect such bugs when you're on a custom rom and don't use the stock rom.
Stock rom's got regulations to avoid this anormal shutdowns and are also specially designed to not be harmed.
Cdla doesn't works for me.

That issue seems specific to the current Pie Roms ( It can be avoided by putting the phone in Airplane mode when charging) and under clocking cores ( Lately Pie Roms have been under-clocked by default)
On a completely different note :
