I think that it is a minor issue.
Workaround is go to Settings -> Battery and disable Ambient Display there.

Well, i do not have this issue.
Which gapps did you flash? Personally i flashed unofficial pico 8.1 arm gapps.
Did you tried to make a hard reboot using hardware buttons?

Well, actually you must hold Vol-, center and power hardware button. When you see a samsung logo, hold Vol+ and center button to enter TWRP. Wipe data and cache.

Dammed. I can not reproduce this issue.
When i tried to boot LOS 15.1 in december, it stuck in bootloop many times. But i always was able to reboot to recovery or fastboot.
So do not worry and just calm down. Yeah. It is impossible to turn off device when it is bootloop.
But you always can reboot in recovery or fastboot using buttons combinations which i told you

There is a way to fix bootloop. Although its works only half of the time?
So what i do, is reboot back into recovery and choose the option at the bottem left, dont know what its called, and then choose "fix context" or something like that.
And that should work (sometimes).

Install it after hours of errors on twrp. Installed opengapps Google play store was not loading I reinstall it 3 times and nothing. I was not able to install apk files too! This ROM at this time suck big time! I download 14.1 from this forum and its working perfectly.

Download the twrp.img from twrp site preferably 3.0.20 and then install flashify and flash the .IMG file this works with no pc and only if you have SuperSU installed and root access. Hope I helped
I used flashfire on google play (free) and flashed recovery twrp.
After that, reboot in recovery and flash the rom. I had to first do a wipe/cache wipe before it installed the cm12 without issues.
Then you install gapps, reboot and be patient.
turns out i needed the twrp file of danil to work installed fine now. Upon boot i got a kernel is not seandroid enforcing . Set warranty bit: kernel then it proceeded to start booting is it normal?
Downloaded latest twrp from their page.
However I did follow the guide of how to install from another version of twrp. That did not work!
So I had to use Odin to flash the lastest twrp to my phone.
I cannot install the package as well, because is says the package is for serranoveltexx you have serranovelte
I can install the CM11 just fine.

Installing recovery_work.zip for CM12 is necessarily!!
New recovery cnahges:
Changed name from serranovelte to serranoveltexx, because my build have serranoveltexx name.
New recovery installing:
Put recovery_work.zip to Micro SD(or Phone memory)
Reboot recovery, install recovery_work.zip
Reboot recovery
And now you can install CM12.

Yes, this is message about Custom kernel)It is normal)
Bug reporting :
Phone reboots at random intervals when enabling disabling WiFi or data from status bar . Sometimes the fb messenger app can't connect to Internet while the phone can . Other issue is audio fx that cuts out every audio output when on so it must be disabled and last applications such as fb messenger notification sounds are way waaayy lower than they should be . This much I have so far . Pretty stable nonetheless
Another thing is it drains battery fast don't know if needs calibration for first time and another important thing is that if the phone sits with closed screen for too long or you were doing something hardware demanding before locking screen the phone doesn't respond to button presses for 5 minutes.
Danil if you can boost the sound for application notifications such as fb messenger and in audio calls . both are low especially notification sounds . in call Audio needs a boost cause in louder environments you can't hear anything even at max volume
---------- Post added at 07:19 PM ---------- Previous post was at 07:15 PM ----------
Also folders are 2x2 and are small scrollable squares and there is no option to change that so yeah take a look into that also

Ok)tomorrow i'll to try fixit)
So Danil super serious bug needs immediate fix . When the phone is turned off it can't charge . It shows the warranty bit kernel error and it doesn't begin to charge . If you can fix it would be perfect
So far, I can confirm the battery drain, it does drain quite faster than stock, but it gets easily through a day with low to moderate use.
Although it's quite snappy, Youtube video playback on Chrome has the video and audio out of sync. Video moves slower.
Add-on dictionaries for other languages wouldn't list additional languages I could install work for the stock keyboard so I had to reinstall google keyboard from google play, and then it worked.
I can confirm IR Blaster works for me as well.
later edit: Don't think it's a bug but an issue of CM12 in itself, I can't seem to use the phone and camera shortcuts on the lockscreen. Although I start swiping from a corner it doesn't always register the swipe, and when I finally nail it, it sometimes decides not to launch the phone or camera, This happens especially with the camera.
P.S. Any way of disabling the need to swipe twice to access quick settings in the notification drawer? It's super annoying.
I mean other than the shortcuts in the corner. I would like to always show the quick settings when I open the notifications drawer.
P.S.2 Although I am all into this google material design, damn it has a crapload of colors, it's like a skittles UI. Wished CM had an option to stick to one-two colors max

Same here, tried two clean installs using different gapps, not ready for primetime.
Maybe try POSP released today on TG, seems very good so far & comes with Optimus Drunk kernel and Lawnchair launcher. HavocOS for Pie (on TG group) was also good, everything working well & lots of customizing options.
"Error 7" flashing un TWRP
How can I install this ROM? since I downloaded the latest version, but at the time of flashing in TWRP it loads a bit and then I skipped a screen of "error 7" I understand that this happens with TWRP versions that do not support 64bit systems, but my version of recovery is 3.2.3-0 and this error only comes up when I try to flash this ROM, could someone help me? since I really want to try this rom

This didn't happen to me installing this ROM using TWRP 3.2.3-1, installed ok in TWRP but on booting to system it keeps shutting down and rebooting, so don't bother this ROM needs more work anyway. If you read the thread the posts above yours mentioned this problem.

I also have problems with that version of TWRP, since when I flashed this version I already tried it directly from my recovery, I tried it from the official TWRP app and I already tried to flash from applications like "flashify" and at the moment of doing it, all it appears in order ... but when I try to enter TWRP again, it does not enter, it throws problems on the screen and does not enter TWRP, I do not know what the cause is

You must have some other problem, I've used all potter TWRP versions since phone came out & no such errors. All ROMs install fine in TWRP and this one only can't boot to system which is in the ROM itself. Sorry can't recommend anything more but maybe post in the official TWRP development thread in this subforum.

Thanks for your work but you seem to be the only one.
Just tried again with no gapps and same result, when it gets to desktop within 1-2 seconds it says shutting down and reboots. The other day I tried twice using the same micro opengapps that I've used with other recent ROMs with no problem. Clean installs in TWRP which reports successful install, booting looks normal until you get to the desktop.
Camera Stops working
Camera installed from stock Gapps is not working and can't open other camera mods
Only stock moto camera is working
ROM is now weekly and the link is https://sourceforge.net/projects/sy...tter-v1.2-20181027-1437-OFFICIAL.zip/download
This rom is really nice.. Thx dev.
Well i just installed that rom and i can say that everything is working flawlessly until now. I hope the the battery life would be good also like everything else in that rom.

Does crDroid Q have all the great options already that Pie had? And do we have to flash any firmware/vendor or can we simply clean flash from any existing Pie rom?
Thanks for your work and this rom :good:
No Vulkan available, can you please fix it like in other Ten Roms ?
Great Rom with look & feel like crDroid Pie. :good:

For a ROM to be called OFFICIAL, the developer needs to build the ROM from source and provide regular weekly updatesand has to stick to the guidelines the developer team have setup.
Like for example LineageOS, the dev can't include a hack or work-around for some bugs in the ROM with a certain device.
For example with the Redmi Note 3, while there was a mod present to fix the flashlight issue, the dev himself couldn't include it in the ROM as it didn't comply with the LineageOS guidelines.
Every developer community, for e.g., LineageOS, RR, DU, OmniRom, AICP, MOKEE,......., have there own guidelines.

I had no problem installing Open_gapps-arm64-10.0-nano-20191006-BETA.zip an was able to setup the tablet without any errors.
Didn't do the SAR thing as I don't need root, as I use the tablet for browsing and watching streams

I flashed it directly with a full wipe, my previous rom was Bootleggers ROM 4.3 Pie and didn't incounter any problems.
It has allot of options just like the pie version, don't know if they are all there but there is enough to choose from.

I don't need root but I tried it for you.
I just tried to install magisk in the normal way and it didn't give any errors.
After it I tested to see if it past safety net and it did.
After that I installed adaway and that requested root like normally and I gave it access.
But when it tried to install the host files it failed.
When I try to read the buildprob with a root file explorer, that works like normally after granting rood.
So maybe adaway needs the sar method, or it doesn't work with android 10 yet.

Go into Adaway's settings and select systemless, then it works fine.
I flashed crDroid earlier and for a 1st build it looks pretty good. It has some of crDroid's options, but not all of them. For example no option for smartbar under navigation and no way to modify recents to have the rambar or at least the clear all button. I installed a couple of launchers (Lawnchair, Hyperion + OPLauncher2) to use with Quickswitch in an attempt to get different recents, but Quickswitch complained with all 3 of them that this version wasn't supported
Settings crash when trying to change the hardware button layout - I wanted to put Screenshot on long-press since there's no smartbar, but Settings wasn't having any of it
Oh and an oddity: When I plug the device in to charge the screen lights up like it should ... but if I simply walk away it will go dark after the 30 seconds timeout and then light up again, rinse + repeat. I had to actually turn off the screen with the power button to get it to stay off while charging ... I've never seen THAT before, so no idea what's causing it.
@Valera1978 - your link behind "For now i'm using gapps from" in the OP doesn't work, maybe you can fix it?
Wake-on-Home works, Volume wake didn't and then it did but that's the same behaviour we had on some Pie roms already.
That's it for now ... not sure if I'll stay on this one or go back to my Pie rom, but it's definitely usable already - thank you @Valera1978 :good:

Thanks that did the trick with adaway, but the setting doesn't stick.
Not a big problem just have to set it again when I want to update.
I can confirm the settings crashing when you try to change the buttons.
I just used my charger but I didn't notice the light going on and off.

Thanks for pointing that out about Adaway, I hadn't noticed - but yes, it does it here too and for some odd reason adblocking was disabled again after a reboot.
I tried it a few times now - if I turn on the screen and then let the device sit there, the screen will go off after the selected timeout (30 seconds here), but then the screen will come back on after a second or 2. Then it goes off again after 30 seconds and comes right back on. This will keep going indefinitely unless I turn the screen off manually with the power button. Plus I just noticed that it isn't only when charging but all the time ... very odd, like something is waking the screen again right after it goes off. I definitely didn't have that on my previous Pie rom and my phone with crDroid Pie also doesn't do it. I'm stumped
Edit: I think I found the culprit that keep waking up my screen :victory:
On the tablet I use a free SIM card with free monthly data that's sponsored by advertisements. It has it's own lockscreen which doesn't even show up here on Q but did on Pie. If I "freeze" that app with TiBu my screen turns off as it should - but without that app installed I won't get my free data each month.
No idea if this is a Q issue or a crDroid one, but something must be blocking the app lockscreen and causing this odd behaviour. I'll have to see if I still get my free data allowance when the app is installed but not using it's lockscreen ... otherwise I'm going back to Pie. :fingers-crossed:
@Valera1978
After 1 Day of heavily testing Games, Videos, Youtube, Internet i can say, this is the Best 10 Rom for (my) 580's.
Big Thx again for your great Work. :good:

I would try:
- install the official TWRP page(Link: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=80692007&postcount=672)
- save all my data
- wipe all partitons
- reboot into TWRP
- format (not WIPE!!) /data partition
- reboot into TWRP
- install only rom and boot
If rom boots normal, thenn install gapps...
installing the rom only cleanly starts works but when I want to add the gapps remains stuck on the logo cr droid
Why ?
ps: I tested with gapps indicated on this forum

Hi, thanks for this! kernel is the same as pie to build?
Thank you for your ongoing maintenance.
ROM install hangs
Tried this one yesterday. Got TWRP reinstalled after an issue with another rom and going back to 8.1/Oreo. Followed the install instructions here to a T. On the initial boot, I get the multicolor G in the middle of the screen and Powered by Android at the bottom. Then the screen just sits on the G with a status bar (?) continuously crawling. I left it running for about 7 hours before turning it off.
I'll go back to 8.1, then to a ROM with 10 (probably Resurrection Remix even though I had some issues .Not insurmountable!!
Is anyone else having a problem with this ROM getting stuck in Portrait mode, even with rotation enabled. In fact, when it gets stuck, turning rotation on and off does nothing. Even restarting doesn't help. Have to power off, boot to recovery and then system to get it back to rotating.

I was pretty sure I'd done a clean install but just to be sure, I started over. Factory reset wipe, flashed ROM, flashed Magisk, rebooted and went through the setup routine and re-installed my apps. Everything appeared to be OK and the screen rotated without a problem. Powered off and booted to recovery and made a backup of the new install. Rebooted to system and arrgghh!! Back to stuck in portrait mode!! Powered off and restarted. STILL STUCK!! Powered off again and booted to TWRP and then to system and the screen rotates again. I have installed many other ROMs on this tablet, including six other Android 10 ROMs, and this is the only one with this problem.
I kept getting stuck on the boot screen
At the G , would just keep going sometimes all night8-9 hours.
Then about a week ago I got up & was half asleep & thought I'd give this another go, so i flashed the pixel 10 rom then rebooted back into recovery & mounted system but I forgot this ROM already had Gapps
Included so I installed BiTGApps-arm64-10.0.0-v.6_signed.zip but before installing I added the config.text file for BiTGApps to root of internal storage
Then installed magisk 23.0 & then reboot & it worked straight away.
I've tried this method a few times with this ROM & it works every time.
The only problem I've had is chrome crashing as soon as you try to type in the search bar other than that it runs perfectly.

For Android 11 you will need to use GSI image now .. Treble version like here ..
https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-tab-a/development/sm-t585-treble-project-t3834538
I have no time to work on this stuff .. hope to find the time to build "normal" android 11 ROM once the source are public .. this autumn.

Thanks for Report!
All found bugs on the Russian resource 4pda:
•As on any aosp-firmware, when talking, the interlocutors complain about the echo (they hear themselves).
•Modem problems: sudden disconnections, slow connection, data disconnection, missed calls or SMS.
•IMS services (VoLTE, VoWiFi) will not work.
•Problems with power consumption. Battery power is consumed faster than usual.
•Flash does not work correctly in camera apps.
•Always On Display strongly drains the battery, it is advised to turn off.
•Who has a bug with wireless headphones:

•Adding a fingerprint may hang on the initial phone setup (just wait or skip this step).
•WiDi (Wireless Display) displays an error (unverified information).
•The earpiece plays music through a standard app when headphones are connected (restarting the device helps).
P.S. It is machine translation.
Can't get it to install, keeps booting back into recovery(twrp). I'm following the steps in the op.

please verify your device!
Zram causes the massive batery drain. Disable that and tweak the clock speeds a bit and it the batery issue is solved. Camera works, flash only works when you touch-focus on a dark surface and then only for that shot. I had a bootloop on a couple tries. Doing a full wipe helped, tried installing with usb-otg. Ota updates don't work for me. Boots in twrp and nothing.

Try to not flash the twrp app after flashing the rom. Sounds weird, but I had the same problem and this was the solution.

Verify meaning making sure it's the correct model? If so, yes it's the correct model. G920-F, so Zerofltexx. I'm running a different rom also for Zerofltexx and that one is working fine.

I already never do that, so that isn't the issue.
Can anyone tell me if this works with sm G925I model?
Well. It was promising with my W8 phone but unfortunately as all Pie ROMs and now this v10....A lot of camera issues. Problems with picture taking. Camera has a lot of trouble focusing properly....has a lot of problems to successfully take a picture with the flash and many many difficulty in taking pictures through Facebook messenger. AND some volume control problems where it does not ring loud enough even when maxed volume. I need to resign and go back to a nougat build....I had so much hope. But...the installation went through like a charm and setting it up was flawless so nothing to say there.
Canadian version G920W8 flash, baseband is not detected rom identifies it as G920F. No network.
Well there aren't many aosp roms here so I'm going to try this one then
Endless loop with lineage-17.1-20200319-UNOFFICIAL-zerofltexx
Installed today lineage-17.1-20200319-UNOFFICIAL-zerofltexx from TWRP 3.3.1-0 on Samsung Galaxy S6 (SM-G920F). After system start it boots endless: blue circle moves endless on a blue line from the right to the left. Power off button has no effect - it is not possible to switch off the power. Volume Up + Power + Home has no effect - activation of TWRP is not possible. Volume Down + Power + Home starts the booting from the beginning and ends again in the endless slope of the blue circle.
But when I long press Volume Down + Power + Home and change immediately to long press of Volume Up + Power + Home when the booting sequence starts again, then TWRP appears after some seconds. Here I can switch off the power, but only when I unplug the USB cable - else it returns to the TWRP.
UPDATE:
I deactivated in TWRP => Settings: "Prompt to install TWRP app if not installed" and installed lineage-17.1-20200319-UNOFFICIAL-zerofltexx again. Now it works !!
UPDATE:
What an ugly ugly design !! Is this design made by google or by lineage ? Can somebody kill the designer ? And the standard apps are more stupid than ever. I've never seen such stupid apps. In a new version the apps should be more smart but here they are incredible stupid. I will immediately return to an older version of android. Absolutely incredible !!
Does hotspot work in this rom?

This is aosp lineage so none the apps are Google's.. Google apps are proprietary..
