[Q]About full charge battery .

When i unplugged my full charged battery it goes back to 97% again . It is normal or something buggy ? Or maybe on my battery ?
Thanks for the help . >.<
Have you tried to calibrate the battery gauge, you need to leave the phone on till the battery hits 0% and the phone shuts it`s self off , then do a full charge with the phone off, it take a little over 3hrs.
If you have a rooted phone, there are ways to delete the battery calibration data, so the phone is forced to re-build it.
I always do that wiping/recalibrating steps after i flash a kernel/ROM . but when i charge again to full 100% charge after i unplugged the charger the battery % goes back to 97/98% . It is normal ?
Thanks for the fast reply .
Thats about the seven million post on the same subject .
100% to 97% is normal .

My S2 has never done that , after a full charge it stays at 100% for ages after being unplugged before it starts to drop.

the problem begins when i switched back to stock ics rom after using a lot of roms without flashing the kernels . now i tried everything i m on stock rom with stock sony kernel , even more i tried stock GB rom but same result again .

download this from playstore:

charge till 100%, start the app, press calibrate and then unplug your phone from charger. your phone must be rootet.
after calibration use your phone till it has only 1 or 2 % left, then charge again to 100% without interrupt. dont calibrate again.
if the problem still isnt fixed with calibration, try this:

...It could be that your power meter has gone wonky and this can be reset by charging the phone to 100% and then removing the battery and the usb cable from the phone for 10 minutes. Return the battery to the phone and charge it back up to 100%.

My friend, i can see you have problem with the batery life. I don't know if any of you has noticed this, but when the phone is charging and it reaches 100%, you shouldn't remove the charger. The phone is still charging even after reaching 100%,sometimes for half an hour. If you want to see when the phone is fully charged, go to Settings-About phone-Phone status. In the first field you can find if the phone is or is not fully charged. Try this and let's see what happens. I hope i can help some of you.

Can you post a screenshot from the first battery screen? That one will show which process are using the battery up. In places of the screen shot you posted, it looks like there is a problem with your phone staying awake when the screen is off.

try unistalling task killers n antivirus...hope it work.....
battery is not draining, actually it is showing wrongly .... every time after removing battery it shows actual amount of battery remaining , yesterday i charged my phone several time until it reached actually 95% and then i starts playing temple run, the battery indicator reaches at 1% within 20 mins and then it remains at 1% charged until 3 hours of continuous gaming and then shuts off, then i put it on charging and it reaches 100% within 15%
and yesterday night i put my phone again into charging and today morning it is showing 100% and after 6 hours of moderate use it is still 100%

great battery life
did you try full wipe in recovery + wipe battery stats in recovery and flash stock rom again?

[Q] No Deep Sleep after 15% fuel notification

I have xolo q700 , and now it has been 3 month purchasing it. In normal usage it gives me 3+ days of battery life with around 95% of deep sleep It works great but due to deep sleep issue there is a battery drain of around 12-15% overnight .
This issue arises when the battery gets below 15% and I get the Low battery notification, and after that, the CPU does not go to DeepSleep anymore, it stays in the 200MHz area.
The only procedure that will stop the "fuel alert" process is by restoring or by wiping cache partition in recovery mode or removing the battery and attaching it back. After that, everything works fine until the next 15% battery notification
After the 15 % battery notification, it never goes into deep sleep and always stay awake
Charging the phone does not help. After the phone is fully charged and after I disconnect the cable, the CPU continues to stay in the 200MHz area according to cpy spy .Thus I will never get a DeepSleep again, no matter what I'm doing.
I have 4.2.1 jellybean && linux kernal version 3.4.5 . I have only 3-4 app installed including whatsapp that all and my WiFi ,GPS are always off
Does anybody has any idea what shall I do. And why is this happening so? Of course I can charge the phone before getting below 15% but this is not always possible.
I have the same problem with Prestigio PAP4500DUO but my phone stays at 1000 MHz all the time. After restarting, deep sleep works fine until battery reach 15% again.

Battery calibration bug
Let your phone turn off when your battery hits 0%
Charge to %100
Let it turn off when at %0
Your battery will calibrate its self, this shouldent happen again

Turn it on after it turns off
When your battery is at %0 or %100 it checks and adjusts the calibration but it needs a full charge cycle to properly adjust

Yes it does matter
Just use phone normaly, draining the battery throws off calibration somehow

xperia z1 screen usage (strange delay)

Dears xda
Good day..
Xperia z1 has a strange battery usage behavior..
The problem is that ( screen usage percentage%) will not be applied till i put my phone in sleep (idle) mode..
I mean when i am using my phone you can notice that battery % is freez or may be make a very little move around -1 or 2 % ... then when i go sleep idle mode .. i got a massive drain drop in % around 6 : 10 ... or more it depends on the awake and active mode time and the amount of my usage for apps.
( i tested this issue 3 times ... on airplane mode , wifi off and i disabled any apps that may affect the battery in idle .... the same result)
So i am sure the idle battery drain .. can be considered a delayed consum from active mode
