Hello. How is it possible that I cant interact with notifications? I cant answer for example on hangouts, directlly on the notification painel. It happens in every app. Cant interact with Netflix notification, and on and on.

I am trying to see if there is way to stop my IM messages (Whatsapp,skype, google talk) from displaying the message content in the notification bar.
When I receive sensitive information I don’t want any part of the message to be displayed in the notification bar. I only want to notified that I have a new message
I have tried turning off the notifications on the notification bar but then I never know when I have a new message.
Handcent does this brilliantly with text message but I can’t seem to find a way to turn it off for Instant messages

Guess there isn't an app for everything
If there isn't a setting in the individual app then I am not sure its possible...at least in a simple way.
Contact the app developers.....for SMS I know handcent has the option to turn off the text in the notification bar.

I am looking for an Android setting or a 3rd party app to delay notifications from appearing for only certain apps. For example, I don't want to see any notifications from Facebook or Whatsapp while I am at work. I do want other notifications to come through like normal; I just want Facebook or whatsapp notifications to be held and only appear later when I am no longer at work.
Ideally this would be done automatically based on time, GPS location, or both. Alternatively, "notification delay mode" could be toggled manually, for example, by pressing a widget.
Is this possible?
I tried using the sleep mode widget in Light Flow, checking "exclude from sleep mode" for apps whose notifications I want to see, and leaving the box unchecked for Facebook and WhatsApp. Notifications for all apps continued to come through even with sleep mode enabled, so that didn't work.
I've been using Facebook Messenger for a long time and I am sick of dismissing its own notifications on the notification panel. This is because when you open a chat head and you actually see and read the message the notification is not getting automatically dismissed!
So here is my question:
Is there any application or any possible way I could remove its notifications but only in the notification panel? I would like to keep receiving them on the lock screen...

I'm searching an app to convert a simple push notification into a full screen notification (like an alarm), but I can't find any app that do that.
For instance, my home camera notify me when it detects motion, but the notification is normal, like when you receive a WhatsApp message, I have so many notifications...
I want to be able to select what notifications (really important ones) should be converted into alarm type notifications
Don you know any app that could do something like that?

Could it be accomplished with Tasker?
Something like... when this notification is received set an alarm 5 seconds after actual time
Or... when this notification is received launch this app (a custom app only displaying a message and playing an alert sound)
