S8+ Screen Protector on S9+ - Samsung Galaxy S9+ Questions & Answers

I didn't have the S8+ and as far as I know the screen deminsions are the exact same so I'm considering ordering the Bodyguardz Pure Arc ES and putting my my 9+ unless anyone knows defenitively that it will not work?
Thanks

I have the S8+ screen protector on my S9+ and it fits perfectly.

I had the S8+ with a left over screen protector, I put it on my S9+ and it seems to work just fine too.

Plastic screen protector that covers whole screen on an S7 (non edge) in the UK

I currently have a cheapo plastic screen protector on my S7 (non-edge), but due to the sides of the screen being curved, there are gaps where dust can get under at the edge (see picture).
Has anyone in the UK, got a plastic screen protector that can cover the whole screen without these gaps?
I have seen the I-croo, but its not available on Amazon UK
This one does: ultimateshield.co.uk/samsung-galaxy-s7-screen-protector
Do you have this one installed? Any pics? Works out at £6.29 all in.
Today I received this one

Really nice, the best protector I have tried so far. Edge to edge, perfect fit and great feeling.

Yes, i have it. Sadly i don't have any other device to take a picture with, but it does cover edge-to-edge.

Case compatible with Samsung Screen Protector?

Hey all.
I'm using the Galaxy S8 Plus with the Samsung Screen Protector currently.
Now I'm looking for a case which perfectly works with the Screen Protector...
Is there any case out there, which works very good?
I found some by VRS-Design and Yootech and also Caseology, but I'm not sure if they are compatible...
Can you help me with this?

Best Samsung Galaxy S9 Tempered glass screen protectors

I've not personally used one, but it seems like the Whitestone dome glass has been the top choice for screen covers with the previous models. They're pricey and it's a process to install, but it's full adhesive. Also the new zagg is supposed to be a good one.

Got amfilm for 3 days now and it a bit of a disaster. It cracked on first day from 0.5 meter fall on wooden (panels) floor, screen itself of ok, so one could have said that protector worked but cracking from 0.5m fall on wooden floor? Some places (top of the screen and bottom right corner) have much lower sensitivity so e.g. pressing backspace and enter on keyboard is difficult, need much more pressure to get it working. After 3 days the curved bits are finally sticking to the screen but managed to get a bit of dirt underneath, luckily it's very small amount and totally invisible.

I heard you gotta adjust the sensitivity settings on the phone with that. One of the reviews on amazon mentioned it.

That could be true if all the screen had this problem not just 10%. On the second thought it's better today comparing to Sunday when I applied it, maybe it needs some more time to settle down? Anyway, it's cracked from first small fall...

Has anyone used panzerglass products?
I've never had great luck with any curved glass protectors. Bought and broke too many. They work great on my iPhone X, but none have worked great S7, S8. I bought these with good results.
Galaxy S9 Phone Screen Protector Ringke Invisible Defender [Full Coverage][3-Pack] Edge to Edge Side Coverage [Case Compatible] Scratch Resistant Thin HD Clearness Film for Samsung Galaxy S9 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B079P898S1/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_VSDRAb2ZZKVGQ
Been also looking for tempered glass on the s8 and now the so. The ones they make for iPhones feel a bit filmy and when they fall they crack. Don't see how those aren't popular on the s series. So I just got a spigen neo flex.
I gave in and bought a Whitestone. It is as perfect as they say. Installation wasn't as hard as I thought it would be ; you just need to watch a bunch of videos of the process beforehand. But is it worth it for the price? I still can't answer that. It makes it easier if I just think of it as an installment plan over the life of the phone.
I have a Zagg Curve Elite four my S9+ and I can highly recommend it. Had it for 1 week, no problems so far. And a plus is that it is case friendly :good:

I have personally used the Whitestone Dome on multiple devices and have it on my S9 right now and it's amazing. I'm a really big fan of it and think that it's the best one out there by far.

Screen protector

Thinking of upgrading my oneplus 5T to a oneplus 7T pro.
Is a screen protector applied to the screen at factory as on the 5T?

Yes a plastic screen protector applied at factory but not tempered glass protection
My McLaren (TMobile) did not come with a screen protector on it, not even the plastic type that all my other 1+ devices came preinstalled with. I thought this was odd but some folks around confirmed this device does not come with one preinstalled

You are correct. The T-Mobile version of the OnePlus 7 Pro and the OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren Edition do not come with a screen protector pre-installed which I find odd as even the Samsung Galaxy S10/S10+ come with a screen protector ND they have curved screens just like the 7 Pro and 7T Pro. The only OnePlus phones from T-Mobile that had them were the 6T and the 7T.
I have bought one in Middle East area and it has a plastic screen protector.
T-Mobile version definitely did not come pre-installed with one. DO NOT buy the one they sell in the T-Mobile store, it's garbage especially for $50 and they would not let me return it. I'm pretty angry. Tempered glass but it's not full adhesive, you see a line around the edge of the screen and it slides around/lifts extremely easily.
Now I have an iQ Shield one I bought on Amazon.
I was skeptical because it's one of those softer plastic screen protectors that you install with a solution spray and a squeegee, which I've always struggled with.
This one seems to be fine though, and it isn't too tacky like others I've used! Crystal clear, no bubbles, and no haziness even after only a couple hours from install.
T-Mobile mclaren USA. No screen protector. Check my other thread for an awesome one.
I went with the OUNIER tempered glass from Amazon and I'm not happy with it. It's impossible to get the fingerprint scanner to recognize your print and the dot matrix pattern can be seen in all lighting and all angles. I made my decision based on price, won't be buying it again.
Get the Whitestone and call it a day.

yeah mine that I received last week was the same, no screen protector just another way for T-mobile to get a sale with accessories
How do I check if it has factory screen protector? I can't see it and I don't really want to use fingernail to check Is it visible straight away? Anyone have some close-up picture?
@flither I don't have a picture but it was cleary visible that a screen protector was pre-installed (on my 7T Pro McLaren).
With a case it might be a bit more difficult to see the plastic screen protector right away, but if you hold the phone in your hands with no case applied, you should be able to see the edge screen protector/display.
thanks for help @stetre76, I thought it's the phone's design because the screen protector is perfectly applied

Big facts. **** just came off.
What i DID get to replace (with prime delivery) was ailun screen protector. The liquid glass adhesive plus screen protector.
Absolutely recommend. Do follow video instructions. It was kinda confusing. Also to note, when it says 2 minutes uv curing for the sides and edges (for anyone potentially getting this, perhaps similar)
What it MEANS is 2 minutes per side/edge. Learned that the hard way after liquid kept coming out thinking I was done.
