New Google Play Market

Google introduced the new Google play market today and I was wondering if we would be seeing that gapps implemented into ics. The icon has changed as well as numerous features. I was just wondering if anyone is interested in this new market and what the demand would be to get it on ics
Thanks

All of the Gapps from the current package will simply update once you sign in with your Google account. I'm sure a new one with all of the Play apps will be made available shortly.

[Q] SmoothBean and Google Now (Google Search)

I have been running SmoothBean 4.1.2 for a while now and loving it. Great job nobe!
I have Google Search v2.0.0.392829 and it works very well. My question is about allowing the recent update to this app. After the latest update from Google, the app crashes every time I try to start it.
Are there any known fixes or has anyone else seen this behavior?

Google now launcher and status/navigation bar transparency

Hello !
I have a Sony Z3 compact and i'm using Google Now as launcher.
Today Google app has been updated and now my home screen don't have status/navigation bar transparency.
First I try to reset Google app settings but nothing occurs.
Then I desinstall it, it repair my issue.
When I reinstall the latest version, transparency is gone again.
Is it a bug or a new behavior ?
Am I the only one to have this issue ?
Regards,
Antoine
same here on Z3 D6603... Seems to occur only on xperia devices
Since then I'm obsessively checking for a newest update that fixes the problem
Have the same issue on Xperia Z5 Compact.
I fixed the issue on my Xperia Z5 Compact. Turned out I was using a beta version of the Google app, which I found out when I tried to leave feedback on the Play store. I left the beta and uninstalled the Google app, had to wait a few hours before the Play store would stop downloading the beta version. But now I have the official release and transparency is fixed. Not sure if this is also the issue for you, but i hope this helps.

Thank you for the feedback.
I'm on beta too so I guess that your advice is going to work for me.
Anyway this should be the same as restoring the last working titanium backup. Leaving the beta should be the same as using slightly older (but stable) versions.
Goodbye
I have an M4 aqua and have the same problem, but i'm not on beta program. I'll appreciate if anyone have another solution.

Navigation Buttons

Is there a way to keep these on all the time? I don't like having to swipe up for them to activate. The screen is large enough, I just want to seem active in every app all the time. Is there a setting that I don't know of, or an app I can use?
I thought i was smart enough, i got the Moto Action latest apk, the latest update (March 2017) is dedicated for Moto G5 and includes the One Nav Button. Well problem is you cant update the moto action via google play because it says it is running the latest version. So i took the apk from another source. Turned out the installation failed.
Wish there was a way to bypass this.

Google Assistant Voice "Ok Google"

As the title suggests I am having issues with Voice training the Google Assistant on my OnePlus 5. The issue started way back in December 2018 and to date nothing I have tried to resolve the issue has worked. I have tried all the fixes from checking permissions/language settings (tried both UK and US) to deleting cache and uninstalling the Google app then to the extreme of a factory reset all to no avail. I have sent feedback to both OnePlus and Google and again nothing has come of it. It is like my microphone just won't switch on using ANY Google app including chrome. I have no issues with the microphone on any other 3rd party apps and have tried both Cortana and Alexa apps and they work with no issues. I got a Google home at Christmas and haven't been able to use it fully as I can't train my voice. When I uninstalled the Google app to the stock version without the updates I noted that the access with Voice match toggle was greyed out and unable to be turned on. This issue has been a regression from the last Oreo update right through to the latest Pie 9.0.5 Oxygen OS.
Does anyone out there know how to fix this problem? Surely after 6+ months down the line a fix should have been implemented?
Does it work now? I had the same issue on my OnePlus 5 but I was just recently (within the last week) able to get it working.
