[SOLVED] Three Problems On My P20 Lite - Huawei P20 Lite Questions & Answers

Hi,
I'm using P20 Lite (ANE-LX1) about two weeks and i have som problems with my phone.
First, Bluetooth Headphone problem. It's most annoying problem i have.
I use JBL T110BT with my P20 lite. When connected and try to listen music, every time screen on music stops, sometimes when i open another app doing same thing. After music stops, sometimes play fast and catch the music time, sometimes jump to directly music's normal time.
I try this with Spotify and TuneIn. With cable headphones everything just normal.
Second, Night Photo mode so dark, just opposite to must might be. I attached the samples. First is night mode with auto settings photo, second is full auto mod photo.
Third Problem, laggy OS.
Free ram is most of time about 2GB and open or switch between apps and UI most of time laggy. Camera open slow little bit. I swicth from Xiaomi to this phone. Compare to Emui, Miui more more fast i think. Emui 8 need to be more stable and lag free.
What do you think about this problems? Did you face any of these problems? BT problem seriously annoying.
Sorry for my English
Edit:
SOLVED with wiping cache from recovery.

Mine is not laggy but i removed a lot of bloatwares with adb and I'm not a social media apps user...
For the night camera it looks like a bug or bad setting off the exposure. Is it in auto mode?

Settings like atteched photo (ignore the black screen just screenshot)
Mode: Night
Settings: Auto

I contacted with Huawei customer service and they suggested to wipe cache and 3 problems are gone.
I never think caches cause these problems.

check if you've installed any apps that prompt the auto shut-off of your phone
previously I had this problem before by then I realized it's due to the installation of one of my fault apps.

first of all,i think this is happening because of any new app,try to remember when it was started(maybe that time you installed any app and now that app shutting down mobile? or just go to task manger and clear each app that was running and also clean memory. if problem is gone and its occur again after rebooting mobile its maybe a Rom Bug,you need to change your Rom,but before doing that try to clear apps through task manger. and see what happens
i hope that helps you
Well first of all ...
Are you rooted? What is your Rom/kernel?

Thanks for the replies guys ok, here are some more info and observations.
I was originally using CyanogenMod 9.1 when this happened. At first, I tried wiping cache and dalvik cache. But it was still the same. After a few more shut downs, it got worse. It got to the point that it shuts down after the boot animation. So, I used Clockwork Mod to revert me back to rooted stock ROM. It's not as worse as CM9, but I still get shut down. Now, here are the observations I made:
1. This only happens when my phone is unplugged. It works fine otherwise.
2. This consistently happens when I connect to the Internet, for example via a browser, didn't matter whether it was Chrome or Dolphin. Offline reading via RSS or Pocket is fine. I opened FB unplugged and I got shut down as well, so I guess it's safe to say that connecting to the Internet triggers it. When accessing the Internet while unplugged, shutdown is immediate and imminent. Plugged, I can surf just fine.
3. It also gets triggered when I play a game, but my shutting down is not immediate, unlike the one above. I am playing only one game at the moment (Great Big War Game). And I am able to play a long while before getting shut down (around 30 mins)
It wasn't like this a couple of days ago, and I didn't install anything new outside Google Play updates, this is not counting the two logcat apps I installed this morning to try to diagnose the problem.
Is there a way for me to find out what's wrong via the logcat?

maybe its a cache problem of your Browser,so try to clear cache of your Browser and if its not working Flash a new stable Rom( i recommend you Sweet Rom,find it on XDA,its very stable and smooth)
and flash that rom with Hydracore kernel.
hope that helps you
have a nice day
Hi thanks for the additional info. It seems that you have the issue persisting on a stock Rom?
Have you tried to wipe on a safe kernel (if on ics)?
Do disable any overclocking or any scripts.

Guys, just a quick update. I sent it off to the service center (reverted to stock and hid all traces of being rooted). They reflashed the phone (they say it's their standard practice to do that before considering hardware defects) but the problem still didn't go away. So, I think my issue is hardware-related
This problem is not software related. It is most definitely hardware. The phone is flawed and shuts off on it's own under various conditions, all hardware related. I am not able to post externally due to not having enough posts yet. However, I have had the same issue on 3 Galaxy Note 2's from Verizon. I made a video that shows exactly what is going on and posted it on the following website...
wwwDOTgalaxynote2shutsoffDOTcom
You will have to paste that link in to a new browser and replace the DOTs accordingly to get to it, but once you see the video, you will be enlightened. Be sure to read the details I provided on that site as well. They go in to detail about the problems that I have had and the lack of proper support that Samsung is willing to provide.
Take a look at the video I made here if you can't get to that site: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SjLn2yikYnI

LG G5 - random error: cannot play video

Hello everyone. I'm fighting with this error for more than 3 months , and i can't figure out which is it's cause.
My phone is rooted.
-same error after wiping cache and dalvik cache
-same error with stock or custom kernel
-same error after flashing diffrent versions of ROM
-it's happening randomly, sometimes at 4-5 days, and sometimes, rarely, twice a day
-if i just restart the phone everything works perfectly until next time it apppears again
If anyone can help me i'll be glad. Also I let some screenshots and a log when i encounter that error.
try to use vlc videoplayer on your device.
check what app is setted for video playing with default app manager or similar app at first.
BTW: the only problem i can see in your log is the weather app. Nothing else.
So maybe you should disable them from processing! (Kill widget, or freeze app in app/setup!)
Try it out.

Same here...
Maybe its a software issue ! Waiting for an update
running on 20d, no problems here! So i think, it is no software failure.
btw:
No higher battery draining
No BT or W-Lan trouble
No display ghosting
No GPS problems
No camera problems
so i am very happy with my G5.

Huawei Mate 10 Pro Issues

Hello everyone, I have a few issues on my device and would like your opinions on them:
1 - Whenever i get a persistent notification like "Music player (with buttons to play etc.)" or "You're in a call with John <timer>" these kind of notifications, if i press the home button while in the respective app for the notification, the notification sound goes on as if i received a notification. like the notification is already there, but when i click the home button the notification sound "rings" idk why... if you guys go to the music player (any one, i tried like 5 already) and play any song and click the home button to go out of the player, do you get the notification sound? (also happens in calls, messages, whatsapp, etc)
2 - Games on my device use abnormal amounts of data, like Rules Of Survival, it used to consume 5 mb per match or so, now after i updated to B133, it used 13 GB for 2 matches, thats 7.5GB per match (it used only 5 mb before), my friend has the Galaxy s8+ and there it works fine but not on my huawei?
so now i kinda avoid playing any music on my phone, since any press on the home button will make the notification sound go on couple of times on max volume. I also avoid playing games, since the data consumed is very abnormal. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game but it still behaves in the same way, regardless of whether im using data or wifi too. could it be software related?
System info:
Huawei mate 10 pro, C185, 8.00.133 is the firmware i have installed, it didn't ship with it, i updated to it a few days ago.
My questions are:
Do you guys face these issues? or is it just me?
Is it okay if i flash another C*** firmware onto my device? or will that cause problems?
Do you think its a software issue and flashing would fix it?
any advice?

Don't have these issues ... But I don't use a notification sound.
you must have high speed wifi if u download 7.5gig in one match. Thats so weird... I don't know what it downloads. Maybe you can share some screenshots.
Rebranding your device is actually kinda risky if you don't know what your doing. I don't think this should be a reason to do so anyways
The only thing I experience sometimes is that WhatsApp message banners sometimes appear twice for the same message when I didn't read it yet. But no vibration, no sound and nothing connected to the home button

thanks for the reply alfred! can i ask what firmware are you on exactly?
another question please, would downgrading to a previous firmware version (same region) cause any issues?
thanks!
Bla L29 c432 138 (basically same as 137)
I am not sure if u didn't have this issue before updating I guess yes.
Anyways before doing something crazy contact Huawei... Their customer service is usually decent. They should fix it u paid them enough money... If you mess around with firmware you only end up voiding warranty

General Android 12 update: 61.1.A.2.211 [Information, bugs and Reports]

I have created a separate thread because the previous one for Android 12 has already become too long to continue posting about the news and bugs of the new update that came out today: 61.1.A.2.211
Please report any news and if the bugs that were already known have been fixed. Thank you!
Serious bug carried over - If you lock the screen while running an app that has permission to keep the screen on, the phone will randomly unlock without authentication. It may be triggered by motion, a screen tap, or by itself. The app doesn't even need to ask to keep the screen on. Bug seems to only happen when Ambient Display is completely off.
Thnkyu for the Help awesome job well-done

Have you updated or installed from scratch with Xperia Companion?
F****** SONY Xperia China Team!!
the first released price of Xperia1 III in China is from CNY¥8499(INC. VAT),that's USD$1339!!!
but the Chinese Xperia 1 III/xq-bc72 is still on Android 11(61.0.A.23.20)today while others xperia 1 III gets the second Android 12 update!!
sorry,i'm so sad。。。
After the update to "61.1.A.2.211" I cannot make a phone call lasting 1 minute. Usually the phone call drops in 10 seconds.
Telephone operator = TIM Italy
Turned off and on again, the phone has resumed working properly
I'm currently running 61.1.A.1.149 RU variant on XQ-BC72. The phone crashes everytime I use Android Auto / Google Maps. I tried different head units. The map runs, however it doesn't update the turn by turn notifications, and after unplugging the USB cable, phone crashes.
I started from a clean 61.1.A.2.211 "repair" XQ-BC52
I had a crash in sony camera app that occurred in a most needed moment, the app got stuck for a while completely unresponsive and after a few seconds restarted. Didn't happen again.
A.2.211 is not yet available for XQ-BC72 yet. Once it's out, I will have a clean install for sure.

For now, the only problem that I have found with this update is when I connect my bluetooth headset (WH-1000MX4) there are no notifications or sound of the messages to the headset or the phone. The Google Assistant does not work from the headphones either (and I have already done a repair with the Xperia Companion from scratch and in the headphones app too).
even after this update i still experience some bugs that came with android 12 - that drive me nuts. the worst has to do with the notification bar: sometimes the first swipe down after receiving a notification pulls the quick menu down all the way and not half way. that happens mostly after unlocking the device. another problem has to do with the youtube-app. when playing a video and scrolling through comments or other video suggestions at the same time, the scrollling begings to stutter. when no video is playing, scrolling is absolutely smooth. can anybody confirm - or even better, are there any solutions? thank you for your help

thank you. that is so strange. i even did a software repair via sony companion - and the bug still exists...
Yes, i know what you mean. I have it too. Though, i never have the 120 hz mode on.
I also have the 5 III so im used to the better battery life thats why.
I think closing the youtube app and reopening it fixes that
Another to the list (reported in the Sony community too):
Google Photo APP won't play videos.
Trying to open any 4K or HDR video with Google Photos (the default app gallery) makes the app to freeze, and then you can not play any type of video. Solved only by restarting the phone.

Question Google Pixel 6 Camera Crashing

Hi everyone
so I have a Pixel 6 mobile phone, and recently the camera started crashing and not working properly, this happened after a beta update was installed (or at least i noticed it after that update), the camera starts for 1-3 seconds and then crashes, and after observing its behavior I have noticed that if I started the camera and immediately switched to x0.7, the camera does not crash, however when I switch to X1 it usually crashes, so I reflashed the device with the latest public build (i quit the beta), and then I noticed it doing something weirder, when the phone is fully charged it usually crash not as much as before but it crashes, however when it reaches lower than 65% charge the camera starts working normally and in any zoom value.
i know this is not a lot to start with but i was wondering if anybody had any issues with the camera recently or had crashes like i do
please give me your thoughts on what might be the problem.
and thanks in advaned
Edit 1 : i have noticed that when the phone is hot the camera works perfectly however when the mobile phone gets cold it starts crashing so i tried holding the camera with my palm for a couple of mins and it actually works after that and then stops again when its cold and when i say cold its not freezing cold its around 10 degrees
I have crash with my pixel 6 camera also. It crash and then phone reboots.
My phone is under warranty so I'll try to see with google to repair or change it.
Some people have issures with camera, but not every users as I see.
Settings -> Apps -> Camera. Top right corner click the 3 dots and select "uninstall updates". Your Beta update is probably not suitable for the P6.
The other possibility without uninstall updates: Force Stop -> Storage & cache -> Clear storage.
After that, back to Apps -> 3 dots in the top corner -> select "Show System".
Search for Pixel Camera Services and do the same and delete storage like above.
Cheers

Thank you for your reply , however i tried this and it is still crashing , i already did a factory reset and i also flashed a public version and still the problem is there , if you have any other ideas please share them with me
I have this problem on A13 stable stock ROM for months.
I have it also on custom ROMs.
So my P6 go back for RMA to Google.
Let's see if it'll be better after that.
