Hi All,
First, i wanna say "Sorry if this was posted on this X10's Forum" .
Well.. after used custom kernels for GB Stock Roms, sometime i need to revert to Stock Kernel for Gingerbread, just for performance comparison or some other reasons.
Unfortunately, our Stock Kernel for Gingerbread isn't supporting any tweaks through init.d and it caused this Stock GB 2.3.3 Kernel looks "a bit lack of power " , if we compare it with any Custom Kernels for sure .
So.. below MOD will activate any scripts through init.d using Stock GB 2.3.3 Kernel on startup, so we can use lot of tweaks and an external modules (optional) using this Kernel (such as Supercharger, Seeder, CrossBreeder, rPEngine, etc), also i had included some of tweaks and fps uncap by Zdzihu too!.
Requirement :
- Rooted X10's Gingerbread Stock Rom.
- Installed Xrecovery.
Installation OP :
- Reboot into Xrecovery and Flash below init.d autorunner and tweaks pack (INIT-D-RUNNER-TWEAKS-FINAL.zip).
- Make a couple of reboots (2~3 times for every ~5 minutes).
- And enjoy the speed of Stock Kernel on X10's GB Stock Rom .

TIPS :
To maintain the rom's smoothness and speed after lot of installed apps, see below tips :
- Disable Auto startup for all non-system apps including it's listeners using any tools (such as Rom Toolbox, Autostart, etc).
- Only enable USB Debugging Mode on setting when needed it (such as ADB, TB, etc).
- Disable Auto Screen Rotation through settings if necessary.

LOL , nah, personally i hate the ugly face of stock GB rom bro , lol.
The purpose of this mode is to use Stock Kernel for any custom (based on stock) GB rom, because most of custom didn't support init.d runner for Stock Kernel and make this kernel looks so "slowly"

- Yes, totally agree with you that Stock 2.3.3 does not look good. its home laugh has not had any sign of missed call + unread message like other cook roms. It is too difficult for us to know, and its call log is not good also.
- The only thing we can find out at stock is stable but it is so boring...
Sample Rom For Stock Kernel : B-STOCK
Since there is no one tested/report this on any custom GB stock roms, so... decided to post below sample rom .
Below sample rom (B-STOCK) is based on Achotjan Stock Remplacement Rom,
original thread is HERE , all Credits goes to him / SDE Team (Achotjan, Tof, International Player and Feravolt).
And i make this rom with some changes (including new features, tweaks, themes and fix for some small known bugs on the original rom).
Requirement :
- Locked/Unlocked Bootloader
- Stock Rom and Kernel with working Xrecovery.
Installation OP :
- Reboot into Xrecovery and flash the ROM :

Lol , yeah most of users prefer stock fonts and icons .
For stock fonts please flash below zip through Xrecovery (STOCK-FONTS.zip), for icons, well sorry bro , need sometime to provide it (to re-theme framework-res.apk and SystemUI.apk), may be i'll make it later (but i'm not promise , cuz i prefer this one :laugh.
Anyway, the topic is how fast our stock gb kernel if we compare it with custom kernels on the same CPU's freq (998 MHz max).

You know i have 2 x10s, one for me, one for my wife. I could test for you.
Now, My x10 is on donuthd 2.2.9 with fera kernel 3.6; while my wife s x10 is on the same Rom with stock kernel and your super amazing zip.
Wow, I can say, it perform as good as fera's kernel, and some times even better.
I open each apps several times side by side in 2 x10s to compare, and I discover that stock is a much stable and consistent, I mean, for example, opening camera need 3 to 4 seconds every time, but in fera kernel, sometimes it takes 4 sec, sometimes it takes up to 8 or 9 sec to open the camera. Etc etc,
In conclusion, this mod is impressive, I am planning to go back to stock kernel on my x10 now.
At last, thanks for your contribution, don't quit, you are very helpful guy.

after installation of 25 app like facebook messenger,line etc i am getting 134mb free with help of xbooster and greenify..
no i havent include it because it is user choice whether he/she wants or not...i am just providing a fresh rom with daily use

Does it turn off the wifi and data while in deep sleep (after 15 minutes of sleep with stamina mode on)?
Cause the unofficial v5 does not do that, and it kinda drain the battery while sleeping

Prerequisites
Your Nexus 5 needs an unlocked bootloader and a custom recovery (TWRP or CWM).
How to install
Connect your Nexus 5 to your PC with the USB-microUSB cable;
Copy the ROM (zip file) into the internal memory;
Reboot in recovery mode;
Wipe data;
Install the zip file;
Reboot and wait for a while.
The first boot takes a very long time, so don't worry if you see the Android boot
animation for more than 5 minutes. This is due to the new ART runtime which needs
to optimize apk files at the first boot.
Root access
The ROM is just rooted.

Oh, it's ok, I accept advices and criticism (in both positive and negative ways).
This is a pure AOSP based ROM but with nice features like the slide to unlock, quick settings tiles and other minimal things.
To change the way to unlock the display you have to edit this file:
/system/etc/kalo.sh
Change "sweep2wake" into "doubletap2wake".

I can't get this to flash. Just tries to flash zip, without any errors, but with no progression. I've wiped everything and attempted 3 different times. I waited for 7 minutes the last time. I definitely want to try it once it is fixed! Looks like my kind of ROM.
Is there a specific gapps we have to flash? I flashed latest Pa Gapps and it skips the whole set up process and then after I chose my default home screen it the system ui crashes.

A minimal set of Gapps are included, other apps can be downloaded from the Play Store.
Won't Flash!!
Am using TWRP 2.7.0.0. and did a full wipe but this rom won't flash. Any advise?

- Lowered the minimus backlight level in auto brigthness mode;
- Added USB OTG support;
- Optimized microphone performance;
- Fixed the green bar on recorded videos;

Yes, for sure: the only way is to edit this file, pleced in
/system/etc/kalo.sh
and remove the last line in the text.
Anyway I'm noticing a huge battery drain too... On the Nexus 4 it was a lot better.
Maybe I will disable this feature in the next releases.

I Always build a ROM like this for myself on any device I own. I always share them even if there are other ROMs out there that are similar. Feel free to download, mirror, and share the ROM with others if you like it.
Instructions
Download the ROM and copy it to the phone storage. Reboot phone into recovery (twrp recommended) and install the ROM. During installation the /system, /cache and davlik-cache will be wiped for you so there is no need to do this manually. You do not have to do a full wipe including /data, although this *is* recommended for your first installation. Subsequent releases of this rom will fully support an existing /data partition.
First boot will take a little longer than usual, and if you have done a full wipe you will need to set the phone up following the normal OOB wizard. If, when running the OOB wizard, it indicates a problem "contacting google servers" simply hit back (lower left soft button) then next again and it will work normally.
As of v1-03, StockMOD ROM uses my custom kernel, StockMOD Kernel. Because we cannot generate signed kernel images, SE Linux has to be disabled. This will break "Private Mode". Please do not ask me to fix that, I cannot.. You can view the kernel thread here

Hi thanks for the new rom, Can you give a guide in your thread for rooting and flashing twrp for people like me that are a bit hesitant as i can't find any real clear instructions my self. Just so you know I am used to flashing my Tab S using Odin 10.6

Because I froze the smartmanager apk with titanium but now I see some drain in gsam with smartmanager framework thread and smartmanager framework message.
Is there something still active in the background while only freezing the apk?

Great news as I am off tomorrow and I plan to root and install twrp.

dont forget, to get around the deepsleep bug, you will have to:
CFRoot > Flash TWRP > Flash Stock Recovery again > Flash TWRP again
then you can go a'flashin

Not really. Literally everything you can download directly from either the Play Store or the Samsung Store has been removed. Also removed SmartManager and KNOX. All the default samsung apps like SPlanner, SHealth etc remain

the vibration is for feradroid cleaning the system, about twrp the problem is twrp itself not the rom
