Follow instructions and Flash the latest version of TWRP as supplied in the link above. And remember to choose the 8.1 ROM not the 7.1.2...
Thanks!

Will give this a shot in the week if I get time, has anyone any further feedback?

After ten days using it, the only problem I had is that sometimes I wake up in the morning and the phone is KO. I guess it's charger related, because my Usb-C cable is loose...and after some glueing no more problem repeating.
EDIT: In the past month not a single problem charging the phone.

MK81.0 works both in Zl1 and Zl0, while MK71.2 only works in ZL1.
As mentioned, only flash MK81.0 on your X722 unless you want a softbrick!!!

It's miles ahead of the rest in terms of fluidity, yep.

Fp speed?
I see that here is also problem with charging like in other custom roms ...

Can Mokee ROM be used with Blackscreen-Kernel? If so - is it advisable?

1: My best results: 715,08 Mflop/s
2: I tested briefly Blackscreen-Kernel compatibility and works well, but I didn't leave it for much time as I flash every night new updates and standard kernel is pretty much perfect for me. I underclocked cpu for one day to check things and battery was awesome and response from the system didn't suffer at all.

Thanks!
How's battery life compared to the other roms?

Hi all. 3 days using this ROM and I have a great impression.
Very smooth and no bugs detected in Spanish language.
I recommend 100%.

Testing myself. WiFi functional on x727 with everything fine. Fairly stable. Cell data is working if you select LTE/GSM/WCDMA (or something like that). For my build, I'm trying to update the security patch.
Been running it for a few hours. Great so far. I haven't had any problems and it's very very smooth. My favorite test is going into maps and holding down the map and dragging around real fast. Usually always get some micro-stutter/fps drops but damn, this one's staying butter smooth!

I've tested it now and it worked without problems so far. Before I used the ResurrectionRemix (CM13) from by VillarLeg. I had license issues with payed apps and also after each dirty flash Google apps crashed. I then had to reinstall the apps from the play store. Google Home (chromecast) even did not start.
With your LineageOS test build I didn't noticed any problems so far. It runs stable and smoothly.
Is there a chance that we get a version with the January security patches incorporated?
Thanks for the good work!

I do not have the original IR app. If you provide the apk I could test it with this build.

Some to confirm?
for example....I´d like to make left button "Menu-Button".
Usage does not change after settings changed....still is recents button.

All the 727 roms will work on 720, unless the builder bundles a radio (which is considered bad practice for roms). The specs on that page are all messed up too. Flash on your 720 with confidence.

Openkl Kirin Lineage OS Beta 4

Hi all,
Has anyone tried Lineage OS Beta 4 of the Open Kirin Website with the Mate 10 Pro L29?
Would be interested in a comparison with EMUI as now apparently most of the bugs are resolved (camera etc.)
Would be interested in this as well

If someone can link me to a full flashable EMUI ROM that I can go back to if I don't like Lineage, I would be happy to be the guinea pig.
NFC doesn't seem to be working?
Yep seems not working
Tapatalk
Hello .. i flashed it on my Mate 10 Lite .. the rom is pretty smooth and reliable .. flashed it through TWRP .. everything seems to be working .. but same as carbon the portrait and wide aperture doesn't work .. the camera just hangs until you turn them off .. front cam doesn't save pictures when beauty mode is on .. other than that it's pretty good for a beta release .. i don't know about NFC though as my device doesn't support it .. give it a shot .. and by the way .. you should use HURUPDATER method for returning to stock EMUI .. i use it and it's working like a charm for me .. going to check for bugs even deeper .. give it a shot !
NFC is no go with Los. Tried Carbon out, it has NFC so may stick to Carbon in the mean time.

Works fine for me, Mate 10 Pro (BLA-29).
Anyone knows how to root this system? Tried LOS 15.1 su addon, but did not work.
Also why when I browse ./system folder under TWRP, this folder is empty?
Edit:
I've installed Magisk, works fine.
And for TWRP, I suggest installing Unofficial by @Pretoriano80. Now I can see content properly and also access to all partitions works fine.

Lineage for more stability

TWRP is necessary. But for incremental updates you need to donate a minimum of 5$ to them.
This is an one-and-only activation cost.
Otherwise you need to flash the whole rom for an update

Maybe it wont work because its a nightly rom.. Please read the full description on their home page, what difference there are for editions
Great work but i have a few bugs:
- I use two sim card and when i setup data on second it keep reverting on first (after reboot or similar).
- On bank app when unlock with FP i get "Token is not unlocked"
This bugs was ok on old android 8 Mokee - phone is X722.
maybe someone knows why all on lineage based and aosp based roms that i install on ZL1 i have wrong battery information? i mean - it can show 20% and then i restart and it shows 70%, and then i restart again and it shows 30%.
it happens on all roms i tried of oreo and pie (lineage, mokee, RR, AEX), and only on zl1 (x720). when i install the same rom on zl0 (x722) i don't have this problem. when i install custom EUI rom i also don't have this problem, but then when i install lineage/mokee/RR again i have this problem again.

maybe someone knows why all on lineage based and aosp based roms that i install on ZL1 i have wrong battery information? i mean - it can show 20% and then i restart and it shows 70%, and then i restart again and it shows 30%.
it happens on all roms i tried of oreo and pie (lineage, mokee, RR, AEX), and only on zl1 (x720). when i install the same rom on zl0 (x722) i don't have this problem. when i install custom EUI rom i also don't have this problem, but then when i install lineage/mokee/RR again i have this problem again.

GSI experience and reporting | Summary |

Hello
As we knew that the GSI has been installed successfully on Lancelot ( Redmi 9/9 prime board name ) and there will be offical GUIDE available soon. So I thought that we need an open field to discuss GSI custom rom and which is the most stable rom that's give us a perfect experience on our device through GSI. So here is what we will discuss:
Best rom that provides perfect test with GSI
If it's boot with out problems like charm
[*]If Gapps working perfectly ?! | Gapps tested ✓
If there is any bricks "As we got a baby on forest (Mediatek) "
Any mentions and Reporting

[AOSP] GSI Rom:

Check Out :

3- Common bugs ( All GSI roms ):
Brightness slider.
Long boot up time.
VoLTE not working.
4- What's working:
Almost everything ( any known bug I will mention in point 3)
3- Is it safe ?:
For now I can't tell if it safe for your Mediatek processor. It's testing booting so if you don't have enough experience to deal with this don't rush until the customers who booted there give us thoughts!
Note: I Will keep updating the thread as long as we got new information and answers :fingers-crossed:

What i tested: AOSP, Havoc.
I use aosp now and there is only 1 bug what i found which is the screen brightness control. But i guess it can be fixed.

because there is no "Treble-overlay.apk" for redmi 9 yet. We need to contact with the roms developers ( such as Havoc os or else ...)

Until Now, GSI it's close to be "Un-Useful" On Lancelot. We need a maintainer to makes things Done :|

I disagree that it's unuseful because I've been using phh's GSI for a week and apart from the brightness bug which is device specific and fixable with an overlay (system is ro!), it's quite smooth and fast. What will a maintainer do with a device without kernel sources? Also people need to realize that with the direction AOSP development is taking, I actually think GSIs will be the last remaining form of device customization at OS level until custom recoveries catch up.
