I am using Samsung Galaxy A87 2016, not rooted. I even installed an SD card but my phone does not allow it to be moved to sd card storage. My main problem is my internal storage is not full but saying it is. I'll post screenshots of every detail of my phone. I bought my phone on June 2017 and I saw that it didnt have any GAPPS except gmail which I dismissed and when I first installed apps it seemed to be fine but after some apps ( its not even alot) it started saying insufficient storage on google play store when I try to download

I have just bought a Tablet named IRATHING2 running Android 4.0.3 from Indian company Wishtel Pvt. When I reset it to factory reset using BusyBox Installer, the Internal memory is not accessible it is showing 0.00B and Apps 32.75 MB but before the internal memory was 1 GB and Internal Storage was 2.73 GB. I have lost all the Installed and Downloaded Apps. Under Apps option it is showing No apps and under ON SD CARD tab it also same(No apps). Its is only showing the apps as a part of Android OS under ALL option. Even it is not recognized by Windows 7 when using USB Debugging.
Kindly help to restore my Tab to its original state as it show insufficient memory error while downloading apps from Play Store.

Hi - I am running a rooted, Android 4.3 on a Samsung Note 3.
I have 4 GB free space on the phones internal storage & 3 GB free on my SD Card. I try and install Words With Friends (20MB) and it downloads, tries to install and then says ERROR - INSUFFICIENT STORAGE AVAILABLE.
I have tried to reboot, shut down and restart, delete a 1GB Game and still I get the error no matter what I do.
PLEASE HELP.

I'm using a Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 which has not been rooted. but I use a lot of modded apps especially games. so I wanted to get a psp emulator on it by installing ppsspp and transferred one of my .cso files from my psp to ext sd card, it couldn't play the file after selecting it. Then I asked my friend who has a similar app and he said I should free up my internal memory which was about 30% free ~700mb left. I tried moving some apps to the ext sd using the pre installed app manager. I tried moving some but after a long time some could not move. then suddenly phone rebooted. All the app I moved to the ext sd or installed there by default now had this appearance of an app waiting to the sd to be ready if one immediately boot a phone. Prior to this event I installed a modded µtorrent pro and downloaded thru it. Now all the sd apps that were "not installed" now appeared in the ext sd with a "µ" prefix before them followed by some letters contained in the app's name. ie µIONRUS~1.apk . I don't know if it's a virus or malware that caused but I have Lookout and Avast installed.

After doing this, I was able to move all my existing apps to the SD card which was not possible before. Now, whenever I go to Google Play to download a new app, the downloads with sizes above 25 MB are not completing successfully. My available phone memory is 20 MB and all downloads below this size are happening fine. Also, there are some downloads which compete but I get the 'insufficient storage available' error when trying to install them. Thus I am unable to get new apps as the phone memory remaining is around 20 MB.
Can anyone help me out? How to select the storage card as the default place for installation a new app from the Google Play store? I have already checked via 'adb shell pm get-install-location' that my default drive is '2'.

Dear Friend ... As the Adb code was , the best way is to reflash the ROM and later if you wanted to move apps to SD , just partition the SD card ( especially in sense ROMs - NOTE : partitioning SD card removes all your SD card data !!! ) ... or simply try using " Link 2 SD " or " App 2 SD " apps ... Good luck

Hello everybody,
I have a dumb question about downloading apps and games to directly SD card.
Because phone have 2 gb memory and can't install apps or games due to less memory. So I got the SanDisk 32 gb SD card. Still have same problem and can't find the solution to download directly Google Play apps to SD.
For your info, I haven't rooted my phone yet and software version is 4.4.4.
What can I do to fix? Thanks in advance.
Nothing you can do to fix it. The sdcard integration was not introduced untill android 6.0 and even then it doesn't work completely right.
So, what shall i do for downloading apps? I moved all apps what i can move to the sd memory. Still cant download apps due to less memory.

There is nothing you can do except uninstall some apps. Even moving the apps to the sdcard doesn't move the app data which takes up the most rom.
To be honest the next time you get a device make sure it has at least 32gb of storage.
