BlackNavigationBar xposed module - OnePlus 6 Themes, Apps, and Mods

This seems to be perfect for changing the navigation area to dark. Anyone else try it? Is it safe? Thanks!

Works great, just don't update it once installed or it doesn't work.

Nope! ?

I'm using it, great mod. It works well on my oneplus6.
I do not understand why Google and oneplus cannot make it as a part of Android. Why do I have to use third party mod to make damn navbar black at all time !!

I could be wrong, but I think it's to prevent burn-in on OLED screens.

it could be the case but it does NOT change the fact that it must be customizable.
in my case I prefer navbar buttons to be transparent or at least black at all time.

It's quite negligible. With black the burn in period is way longer than with colours.

Navbar Apps from the play store works great, doesn't need root & is free (with ads else buy premium for no ads & more designs unlocked).

Does work great. It also is still black when you use hide nav bar mode.
Unfortunately not part of a direct magisk module. This plus gravity box, call screen fix, greenify, faster face unlock make it important for me to have Xposed even if there are other apps that can do the same thing , (though less reliably for me).

If there would be burn in issue, then google and other phone makers won't be doing it. Oneplus isn't that smart.

It's due to quality control issues as you would probably know. Not because of the black navigation bar. And on a burned panel you see the images of navigation button, not the whole black bar.

It's not just quality issues — all OLED panels have potential for burn in. No, you won't see a big, black stripes St the bottom, just the navbar buttons, but the idea is that having a white navigation bar helps prevent burn in.

If you go back and read my original quote, someone asked why Google (and other manufacturers) don't make it an option to have a black navigation bar. Google actually recommends OEMs and developers use a white/light navbar to help prevent burn in.

Ohhhh, I didn't know that. I think the colour need to change time to time. If it stays for longer no matter it's black or white will result in burn in.

So it doesn't work anymore?

Notification light changer?

Hey guys, so far I am really happy with my S4. I have no complaints but one, the notification light. Dear god Samsung couldn't have possibly used a worse color. Its such a dark blue you can't even see it unless its very dark in the room you are in. I really want to change the color of the light but all of the apps have problems. I have Xposed installed and working and wanam running too. Is there any way I can change the color of the notification to like white or something?

That my friend is a darn good question. I used it and loved it on my Galaxy Nexus, but went to the HTC One from there and the light options were very limited. I have yet to test it out on my S4. But it seem the guy above me on this post likes it..I do believe there is a Lite version that you can test out as well!

I've used it on my S4 and loved it, you can pretty much set any type of notification to any color of led (granted if that color is supported by our device) you can also, if my memory serves me right, change the duration and and frequency of the led.

S4 has an RGB led for notifications. When I used lightflow, the best colors were, Red, Green, Blue, Purple, White, Pink. Yellow kind of worked, and some of the lighter colors, auqua, etc looked like white. It works good, if memory serves me correct, sometimes it would not reset it's notification, but other than that, it was pretty good.
you can download a LED notification manager that works just fine from playstore...

Clock on lock screen

Im sorry if this already posted but I didn't see any on my device I can't find anywhere that will let me change the clock layout or color and I would really like a way to do that because my background color makes the clock hard to read

I don't think you can do it with the native launcher - I tried finding a setting the first day I had it. My guess is you'll need to use a different launcher. I've used Nova in the past...tons of customization available.

Haven't used Nova in a while but figured if any launcher had the capability, it would be Nova.
Dang well honestly I'd even settle for a lock screen clock widget

I'm with you - my background is fairly light so seeing the clock on the lock screen was hard, plus I wasn't a fan of the stacked style or the thin font (tired eyes like thicker fonts). Was bummed when I dug through all the settings and couldn't find anything that allowed for adjustment.
Same and I agree the stacked got is not that pretty to look at

Do you mean the one on the lockscreen that's similar to the clearview clock? I'd be interested in having that too.

Download Googles clock from the play store. Then add it as a screensaver in your display settings.
Looks more or less the same.

Green wedge in lower left corner

This is probably a stupid question....
But why do I have a green wedge in the lower left corner of my phone on the home screen and lock screen?
I don't recall seeing on this on the display models I played with.
Are you sure this is not part of your wallpaper?
Even if it's not, try chainging the wallpaper just to refresh home screen a bit

Maybe fancy, but ergonomics suffers greatly. How do you reach the top line of icons while holding the phone in one hand?

The apps on top are not so frequently used. I have all the frequently used apps in the bottom and my dock is scrollable, so I have another set of apps at the bottom.
My approach is different. I like all my favorite and frequently used applications nicely at hand. I have 26 applications, each with up to 5 application shortcuts and with swipe action I can run another 26 secondary applications. I am using Nova Prime Launcher, all gestures are used too. Six other apps can be started via widget hot spots.
