I could do the twrp for this site: [kbloghub.com/2018/02/root-install-twrp-recovery-on-umidigi-z1.html?m=1] but I had already downloaded the recovery in the site, as I said in the previous post worked thanks to the magisk I do not know why the SU does not want to install then already goes straight into the magisk because I know it works, I know yours is the Z1 Pro and my only the Z1 but it does not cost anything to try! Or then you simply search for Z1Pro recovery and try using this method using magisk !! if you have not understood even looking at the site just search on YouTube because the method is always the only thing that changes are the files !!

Twrp z1 pro
Hello, as I understand the Z1 Twrp Does not seem to work with Z1 Pro, also did u manage to find any custom rom's for Z1 Pro? as I could not find any.

Hey man works great! Your Xposed link is broken though. Keep up the good work!
As an aside you can flash the Xposed framework zip through flashfire and use XDA Labs and it'll work fine without the Xposed Installer

Thanks for feedback!
Tried to flash it with the indicated procedure above (after unlocking the bootloader).
I'm stuck in the white screen with the Xperia logo changing colors. Any ideas?
Edit: never mind, my bad. I flashed this in .292, that generated the error. Flashed the entire .301 with flashtool, then flashed this and now it works.

Any news for the Nougat?
No rush for me, I'm still waiting for Xposed for N. But I was curious.
Oh also, SuperSu keeps on trying to update binaries, tried to flash the latest with flashfire but nothing. No biggie, root access still works as usual .
Thanks a lot!!!

dear
since su is embedded in the kernel, you should not have UPDATED it from 2.78 to 2.82r5 from playstore, it wont update binaries! but su will still work
if you are on LATEST build / 34.3.A.0.252 / Android 7.1.1 (N) then you may consider flashing the following kernel.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-x/how-to/root-xperia-x-f5122-android-n-34-2-2-47-t3594502
it doesn't have any Root Guard and hance you after flashing (recovery) TWRP you may flash any of the following from twrp
1. superSU or
2. Magisk or
3. SuperUserr259

Xposed Oreo beta, any success?

Now that the xposed framework has been released (beta) for oreo, is there anyone thats managed to get it working on a mate 10 pro?
Ive tried from within the xposed app to install it (sdk26) and bootloops, tried to flash the zip within flashfire pro (rooted) and bootloops again
Same problem....after installation of xposed framework always bootloops.....
someone else tried?
Same here, never managed to get it working on My Mate 10 Pro
Just got my mate 10 and was excited to load up the xposed beta and gravity box and then saw this
btw, have any of you guys been able to root without getting the disadvantages listed here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/mate-10/how-to/how-to-huawei-mate-10-pro-standard-t3709535/page4 of losing AI, and losing theme functionality? I keep getting bad news about this phone after buying!

Don't worry mate !
It's true, we still don't have xposed working however you can root with Magisk and you won't loose any feature. You'll need to factory reset to unlock the bootloader tho.

Thank you! that makes me feel a bit better about the mate 10 if I can at least get root without sacrificing anything. thank you for the information and the link. I'm having a hard time understanding the instructions in that thread however, and just posted a question there about it. Would appreciate any help in figuring it out!
recently, we have many news for mate 10 (pro). magisk/TWRP, is there any update related to xposed for mate 10(pro)? expecting for this framework to have my device modified further.
Does anybody have news about Mate 10 (Pro) compatible Xposed? Since we got data decrypting twrp now the lack of Xposed is teh last thing holding me from unlocking / rooting my phone. Thanks!

Bootloop FIXED !!!
The bootloop as been fixed with the Beta 4 avalable here
https://www.dropbox.com/s/bkb7iluiqob8qwa/xposed-v90-sdk26-arm64-beta4-test1.zip?dl=1
No need to factory reset, just flash over the Beta 4 with TRWP and wait 3 minutes after the reboot. VOILA !
Enjoy
Thank you and rovo89.
That's big surprise !!!
I have been using Xposed for a few days but there aren't many modules that work with it in our os.
this is valid for the mate 10 - no pro- right?

Xposed runs atm only at phh treble ROM.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/honor-8-pro/development/rom-t3758564 or use original phh treble feed with v18 system.img for A-only devices (both works fine on my Mate 10 Pro C432)
Flash the system.img via fastboot, clear userdata (factory reset) in stock recovery. (it will delete all user data!)
Flash TWRP recovery via fastboot. Go to adb sideload mode.
Root with magisk zip through adb sideload. Reboot into system. Alternatively you can flash the pre rooted phh image
Then download the latest xposed installer apk and install xposed through recovery mode.
Reboot.
P. S. aosp didn't have a private space feature...
P. P. S. You can install p20 cam via magisk later - works fine for me
I use GravityBox, Lucky Patcher, BubbleUPnP
Xposed successfully installed! I have realised however that the stock sound recorder app stops working after I flash Xposed - the stock sound recorder app force closes as soon as you touch the icon.
Also any applications installed/updated receive an incompatible with system error notification message although they are compatible.
It wouldn't be great if anyone has a fix to the above two problems.
Just reporting bugs ?
Someone should also start an actual official Xposed thread.

Xposed runs now on stock FW for me too. :victory:
I have exactly the same problem with sound recorder, but other installation procedures working fine.
GravityBox O didn't take any changes at all...
Other modules runs smooth so far (3a, Greenify, etc)

XPosed

For those interested we can now run XPosed on XZ1
Me myself I have FW 47.1.A.12.34
Install the DRMFix according to post 53 in the [oreo]XZ1-drmfix-root-ricoff. This gives me recovery, root and DRMFix.
Then I downloaded and flashed installed XPosed and the installer from the [OFFICIAL] Xposed for Lollipop/Marshmallow/Nougat/Oreo thread
SDK for OREO 8.0 (which is the version in FW 47.1.A.12.34) is SDK26 and the architecture is Arm64.
I Flashed the XPosed zip, booted phone and installed the XposedInstaller apk. The app then told me the framework was installed but not loaded, so I istalled it once more from the app (direct install, not using recovery). After reboot did everything work as a charm
I used to use Xposed but I can't think of any modules that are worth bothering with the install these days. Can you recommend anything worthwhile bro?

I actually only use a package for greenify and a "Eventlock" module to get my calendar data on the lockscreen
Yeah, that's the problem for me. Xposed used to be about to do so much that Android couldn't but the OS has come so far now that I don't feel the need for it anymore.

Yeeea.....bur I just had to check it out when I saw there is a beta version of Xposed for Oreo.
Just because I'm curious
I know, I feel the same way but just didn't see the benefit of it at the time. I used to love Xposed. I actually forgoe certain upgrades because I would lose Xposed in the past. Those days are gone now though.
For all who are intrested:
Gravity Box for Oreo is now released!
I think the best XPosed Modul on the Repository!

No issues here mate maybe you need to enable internet and re open magisk again because you need to install any module in magisk itself under downloads/modules.
no one have belong by this i guess, i should never buy XZs, this topic is indeed dead as they say !! really dissapointed and this kernel works also on dual, but thankfull people are hard to find

Another question, since we can't backup TA partition on XZs which was released on Nougat, is there any feature that is lost permanently even with DRM fix?
