AOSP Extended is an AOSP based ROM which provides stock UI/UX with various customizations features along with the Substratum theme engine. The project has been made by cherry-picking various commits from various other projects. Being based on AOSP it provides a smooth and lag-free experience out of the box. ->Actually the updates we provide monthly are heavily changed and modified than the previous builds. New stuff is merged and added. So we don't provide incremental updates and recommend a clean flash.

->No.

->XPOSED is still in beta stage. We like Xposed but it messes up with the system so before giving any bug reports make sure you have Xposed uninstalled.

@athulele thanks for the ROM. Tested it on my Shamu. Smart Pixel is not activated. If you go into settings and search for smart pixel in the search bar you'll find it but it's not activated. Hello all. I'm wondering if something happened upstream because I'm noticing a lot of AOSP-based ROMs are now having the same issue with "long-press power button for flashlight". The issue is that it malfunctions or doesn't work at all without Ambient Display -> Lift to check enabled. Is there any way to correct this?

I just want to let you know that my Google Cloud trial has been suspended for billing issues. (i used a debit card for signing up because i dont have a credit card).

AEX is my fav rom on Moto X Style. Really would like to try this out. Any info on the kernel you use? Does it support KCAL and DT2W? I've only had a Nexus 6 for 3 days so far, love it alot and I've already grown fond of these options.

Is UKSM really worth it? I used it on my personal kernel and wasn't very impressed. I just seems to eat battery without much gain.

Hadn't ever tried it so decided to give it a go. Seems very placebo, but apps don't have to reload that much for me. I also didn't notice any additional battery drain. I should actually test it for a while longer.

I cant get substratum to work. It never asks for root permissions. I can open the app and see my themes but when I apply nothing changes and then if I reboot, it gets stuck on splashscreen till I use rescuezip. I didnt intitially have the built in themer turned on so after Substratum failed, I went to android settings to turn it on and it made no difference. I havent ever experienced an instance in which Substratum doesnt ask for root permissions.
