IMEI lost after flash wrong firmware - Honor View 10 Guides, News, & Discussion

Hi to all
A Spanish mate, who has a BKL-AL00 flashed a wrong firmware, a firmware for other variant, now he has lost both IMEI. Service center said that the only solution for this is changing the motherboard.
I've read in other Honor subforum, I don't remember which, someone bring a solution flash a previous firmware and wait for the OTA.
Anyone has boot, ramdisk and system for BKL-AL00 to flash it?
Or know any other solution to this?

It will be full firmware similar to - BKL-L09C675BXYZ- Full.
If by any chance that appears on the screen, you can proceed with 100% guarantee it will solve the imei issue

I'm not sure but i thought that the yellow tint is a hardware issue and has nothing to do with software whatsoever.

I don't think someone will ever notice that you didn't install the official over the air update you were supposed to get.
And also, it's not like you unlocked the phone and installed a custom rom. It's still an official Sony rom.
I don't see any obvious reason why a repair center would check your firmware version. After all it's a known issue and the solution to the problem is there.
And no, i don't have a backup image or so of my stock firmware.
There was a post here on xda with all GB tft files and there was a Belgium one.
Just search for that post, I can't seem to find it anymore tho

I'm quite sure they won't bother
I think of it like this, your phone arrives at the repair center. The person who has to repair it reads what is wrong with it. He then says: "Ah, i see, the yellow tint issue. Time to get to work, but not without checking the software version first".
It's a very unlikely scenario if you ask me. He's just going to fix the screen, check if it still works completely and maybe do some additional tests in the service menu or so.
But you could indeed just do what Hitmax117 mentioned, just to be sure.

i tried all sorts of modem from the modem collection page here on xda
those modems used to work when i had a different rom but still, is there a way maybe to extract the modem from the ZIP file of miui rom ?
i tried searching modem.bin inside the miui zip file but theres none.
if theres no modem.bin file in it then does that means it uses the existing modem ?
if so then il need to revert back to the rom i had before miui ? or just revert to stock rom ?
ive flashed stock rom and still nothing
also, on mobile networks menu i cannot see any networks to choose from

There is a solution to update currently you dont need to use NSPRO.. Android is freedom dont be constant..
Dont stick to NSPRO you can use my patch everytime when your network gone
i would gladly try your patch only i already used NSPRO to fix it
right now im just glad my phone is working again

Received as an OTA, have not seen it anywhere else. You know it breaks night mode, light painting on camera? Security patch update, and supposedly fixes a lock screen issue that I've never had are about it. Better off staying on 112.
I could use any Bla-a09 firmware. I need it to repair my phone. I flashed the wrong system.img in fastboot

Honor 9 hard-bricked after downgrading using HURUpdater

I recently picked up a Chinese variant (STF-AL10) Honor 9 and wen through the process of unlocking the bootloader, rooting and re-branding to the European variant (STF-L09). All good. Was able to flash the latest ROM (STF-L09C432B378) using HURUpdater. All good except the 2 capacitive keys not working. Saw that there was a potential fix with an updated Kernel for build 366. So.... I tried flashing STF-L09C432B366 with HURUpdater. The flash appeared to be successful (no error messages except for the a couple that are expected apparently). But the phone was dead right after I tried rebooting from TWRP. Absolutely none of the reboot button combinations work.
Has anyone experienced this before? The seller is promising to fix or replace the phone so I've sent it back. But I'm still interested in finding out what went wrong. Are there any pitfalls when downgrading -- I only went from 378 to 366. My impression was that HURUpdater was fairly reliable. I'm wondering if the the B666 ROM was corrupted. I'm still surprised that I ended up with a hard-bricked phone.
Thanks.

Hello, for me happend quite the same thing, I tried to downgrade my original STF-L09 from b378 to b368 with HURUpdater and right after rebooting from TWRP, where I chose reboot to recovery, the phone died. Because it is in warranty I sent it to service last week. So I'm looking forward to what they'll say to me

You can not lower the firmware version if your firmware is gt Turbo
Your phone will fall into the state of usb ser
You can restore it but it costs money
I reconstructed my phone from this brick myself

What was the first firmware with gt Turbo? b377? Previously I successfully downgrade from b376 to b368.
btw your post is very useful!
Yeah, that explains a lot. What's been the best fix so far for the capacitive buttons problem? The one route I've seen is flashing the kernel file in fastboot mode from one of the patched builds (366, etc.) Any other ways that work?

My phone came back from service center after bricking it during downgrading from b378 to b368 with changed motherboard. So unlocking the bootloader via HCU client was needed. Unlocking succeeded, so now I'm going to flash new treble ROMs.

Please Help! S6 Edge G925F null imei/unknown baseband

Hi, first i got the G925F, runnning latest 7.0 Nougat bricked by my friend.
Restored with odin and it worked perfectly, but after a week i put a sim in it and did't worked, there was a message in status bar saying ''no signal''.
Next i googled it and checked the imei, the imei was 350000000006.
Rooted the phone with Odin.
Downloaded the Samsung Toot Pro and folowed a video on YouTube, downloaded a nv_data file.
Connected phone with writted my ''350000..06'' imei and writed nv_data next phone restarted.
I connected the phone again and opened ''Samsung Tool Pro''.
Next i just get to ''Repair'' section and writted my previous imei which i got from the back of my phone and hit the ''Repair'' button, phone restarted again.
So i got my Original imei, but there was the ''no signal'' error again there.
I inserted my sim and i got network lock screen. My phone was not locked to any network before restoring it.
Connected the phone again and there was a message saying ''if you are looking for ''repair network'', then you should use ''patch sertificate'' option.
I pressed patch sertificate but got an error.
But usually the 'Samsung Tool Pro' was recognizing my G925F's imei and this time there was only ''IMEI:'' and nothing more, just checked my imei and there is nothing.
I restored the phone again with Odin, now i have a circle with a line in my status bar, saying ''no signal'', u can see in the pictures.
Any help will be appreciated.
Sorry for my english.

Find the correct combination (engineer) firmware for your device and firmware and flash it in Odin. It will repair your imei so you can make calls etc. However it won't repair your SN.
