Please Help! S6 Edge G925F null imei/unknown baseband - Galaxy S6 Edge Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi, first i got the G925F, runnning latest 7.0 Nougat bricked by my friend.
Restored with odin and it worked perfectly, but after a week i put a sim in it and did't worked, there was a message in status bar saying ''no signal''.
Next i googled it and checked the imei, the imei was 350000000006.
Rooted the phone with Odin.
Downloaded the Samsung Toot Pro and folowed a video on YouTube, downloaded a nv_data file.
Connected phone with writted my ''350000..06'' imei and writed nv_data next phone restarted.
I connected the phone again and opened ''Samsung Tool Pro''.
Next i just get to ''Repair'' section and writted my previous imei which i got from the back of my phone and hit the ''Repair'' button, phone restarted again.
So i got my Original imei, but there was the ''no signal'' error again there.
I inserted my sim and i got network lock screen. My phone was not locked to any network before restoring it.
Connected the phone again and there was a message saying ''if you are looking for ''repair network'', then you should use ''patch sertificate'' option.
I pressed patch sertificate but got an error.
But usually the 'Samsung Tool Pro' was recognizing my G925F's imei and this time there was only ''IMEI:'' and nothing more, just checked my imei and there is nothing.
I restored the phone again with Odin, now i have a circle with a line in my status bar, saying ''no signal'', u can see in the pictures.
Any help will be appreciated.
Sorry for my english.

Find the correct combination (engineer) firmware for your device and firmware and flash it in Odin. It will repair your imei so you can make calls etc. However it won't repair your SN.
Helped somebody with this just last week and his works fine

Hi,
I'm unable to make call because of not registred on network problem (my phone is G925I)
When checking *#06#, it gives me my correct imei code
But when testing *#0011#, i got IMEI Status: NG
What does NG mean and if it is a problem, how to repair it
Did you flash any firmware? Doesn't usually happen randomly. If it has should send to Samsung.

I recently updated my firmware to 6.0.1 and found out the GSM option is not available and cannot be registered on any available network. I didnt make a backup of the working firmware. I downgraded to 5.1.1. and now see the GSM option but still cannot connect to the gsm network. I checked the IMEI number it is fine but when I type #*0011#, I see IMEI STATUS:NG. I am not sure what NG stands for. Could you help me please as I am sitting with a phone that cannot make calls and receive sms.
Thank you in advance.
I'm into the same situation i upgraded to 6.0.1 no i ain't got network...

What region (
IMEI ng
I had the same problem, If you have you EFS partition backup. then you are lucky. just restore EFS partition from recovery (TWRP in my case). :good:
If dont have backup:crying:. but have your original IMEI no, try editing IMEI (search google how to)

The only thing i can suggest is download samsung phone info app from play store. Go to CSC, check what the origional CSC was. Find and download and flash back to the original CSC. Theres not much you can do with lost or corrupted efs. The same happened to me when i flashed my nandroid backup. I had not backed up efs but after flashing origional stock my imei was repaired. Good luck keep me updated
Or one other thing...flash a branded firmware of the network you use with PIT. The PIT might fix the efs partition.

i already did that but nothing happen , and everytime i was stucked on a bootloop i flash again the 6.0.1 rom in order to remove the bootloop
Have you tried a Rom with same number in it as original (file name 9th position states "2' or "3", etc and probably is the same as the error device number)?

[Help]My SM-G925F lost sim after updated official 6.0.1

When I updated the official 5.1.1,I have got the same problem either. At that time I tried this kernel then it worked.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s6/samsung-galaxy-s-6--s-6-edge-unified-development/kernel-stockmod-kernel-t3100395
This time I updated offical 6.0.1,It was lost again.
I have tried anyway like downgrade to 5.1.1,the third part kernel and so on.It still could not detect the sim card.
Now my phone has correct IMEI and baseband,I could call 999 by it too.
I have also tried smartswitch. When I input "SM-G925F" to model and my SN,it tell me no this product.
Could any one help me?
What should I try to post here for more help?

You can not downgrade back to 5.1.1 from marshmallow. Also G925f is not the serial number. The SN is on the back cover of the phone or use Samsung phone info from plays tore it shows you SN there. Alternatively just flash stock firmware through odin.

IMEI lost after flash wrong firmware

Hi to all
A Spanish mate, who has a BKL-AL00 flashed a wrong firmware, a firmware for other variant, now he has lost both IMEI. Service center said that the only solution for this is changing the motherboard.
I've read in other Honor subforum, I don't remember which, someone bring a solution flash a previous firmware and wait for the OTA.
Anyone has boot, ramdisk and system for BKL-AL00 to flash it?
Or know any other solution to this?

custom f firmware? the stuff you get from sammobile is OEM stock firmware
there isnt a bespoke dual sim firmware available. From what can gather, the firmware detects what hardware you have and will show dual sim if it is so equipped. Ive seen the d/s version discussed several times on here and thats always been the outcome.

ok, can you boot into the OS? If so, go to the play store and download CPU-Z, run it, take some scrrenshots of SOC, Device and System and post them here
Is it odd that the IMEI are the same number? Supposed it is N that sold as F to gain more money as dual sim.

And check This on CPU-Z its an exynos but on imei info its snapdragon, also cpu-z its G965F on imei info its G965N!!!!
If it is an N, there's no way to activate dual sim. It's got only 1 IMEI. The hardware for 2nd SIM is just not there.

i wouldnt trust the IMEI info page unless it somehow remotes into your phone via an app of some sort to physically check the hardware. CPU-Z pulls from the SOC, mobo etc itself. You can prove this by getting an older version of the app from one of many apk repositories (apkmirror, for example), once downloaded turn on airplane mode so that the apk doesnt know what device its being installed on, install it, run it and see what it says. It could have some info baked into the app for it to cheat, but id be for more likely to believe the imei info is cheating than cpu-z

i hear ya. i would flash the F firmware since that is what CPU-Z says it has. Im betting that the info from IMEI details is what was supposedly shipped on the device. Your software version says its a Exynos chip, CPU-Z says it is too. Id not trust anything thats telling you what processor is in your phone that isnt interfacing with it directly such as firmware and CPU-Z.
