I love my p20 pro, but i dont like the case options. The clear case that comes with it is too slippery. Im looking for something with a clear back or open back and grippy silicone, rubbery sides. So the phone wont slide out of my pocket
Option B, might be something similar to sandstone. Im almost tempted to spray some clear sandstone like material on the clear free case. Just on the sides
Ideas of a case i could use?

I'm using this case.
I just got a case by Nillkin. I can't post the link because of the new post rule, but search for "Nillkin Nature Series for P20 Pro". It's pretty thin and the sides have a grippy texture on the sides. I got it on eBay for about $8 so it's fairly expendable.
The official Huawei p20 pro silicone case has a lot of grip but its ugly

Got this to protect my white note. I love the color combination. Provides good protection to all sides and I like the glossy finish. Feels good in the hand and has a good lip for the front where I can lay it face down without worry. The TPU material feels like I am able to grip the phone better and I am not worried about dropping it like I was without the case. I also can't feel the creaky back battery door now too YAY!! Good access to all ports and cutouts are perfect for everything. The case doesn't cover the power and volume keys it is cut out for them. CHEAP and fast shipping got in about 4 days. Definitely recommend this if you like TPU cases.

the lip is annoying, its raised design makes it like you have to use the phone in a hole.

The lip isn't too bad on this one compared to some other tpu cases I have used. No lip would be interesting but how would it stay on lol. I like having some protection for the screen by having the lip I can sit it face down with no worries.

I'm after an adhesive skin/decal protector for the back of my Huawei Ascend Mate 7. I have a slim case for it already, but the phone is big already and the case makes it even bigger. I don't want to go without any protection because the back is slippery and it feels like it's going to slip out of my hand whenever I hold it. Skins seem to be available for the more common phones, iPhones etc, but not for the HAM7.
Does anyone have a skin for their HAM7? Would you recommend them? Are there any sellers in UK or Europe?

I use "Nillkin Frosted Matte Hard Case" - very comfortable and not made phone large.
What's the absolute grippiest solution for this phone? Most skins don't give a lot of confidence. Egrips doesn't make something for our phone and those rings or popsockets are huge

Go to the patchworks website. I can't post the link because i don't have 10 posts but i already have a spigen neo hybrid which is slippery but i kept because i like the color. The patchworks case has a slim and just a regular case but both have special grip on the side where you hold the phone.

You could also try a bumper as well. Adds minimal bulk (also won't hide the color of your phone) and will add some grip too. I've heard of bumpers for the iPhone, but didn't realize there were ones for Android phones as well, haha. XD Erika Griffin mentioned one when she did her S8 unboxing on her Youtube channel -- the RhinoShield CrashGuard Bumper Case. I couldn't find it on Amazon, but I included the link to their official site.

Thanks. Bumpers unfortunately are too big. They add a lot of width to the phone which is already extremely big one handed

That sucks. D: Only other thing I can think of would be to try something like the Spigen Thin Fit or Airskin cases as they're about the thinnest cases you can get.
EDIT TO ADD: Almost forgot the Spigen Liquid Air case, which of the ones I mentioned, I actually own this one. The pattern on it seems grippy, but I have to see how it feels in-hand when I get the device.

Ya I have a couple like the air skin that are super thin. Just wish there was something thin that was really grippy. Might Plasti dip a case....

it adds a lot of grip if you "squeeze" the phone, but not that much when placed on a slope.

The speck pseudo grip is pretty decent. Pricey though.
I bought the Spigen Slim Armor / Metal Slate case for mine and it's a nice, tight fit. Feels great in the hand. Edges have a rubberish feel to them but don't add allot of bulk. Now the trick will be in finding a screen protector that will work with. Like I said, TIGHT!
My solution was the honeycomb skin from slick wraps. I've used it on my last 2 phones.
I agree with pieman13, I got a dbrand skin for my S6. Protects the glass from stuff wedging between the case and the back and is the right grip

I bought this case because it looked super thin. I know this is for the S8+ (this regular s8 forum is more active ), and it's awesome. It definitely is super thin, so it won't add much in terms of protection, but it has an amazing feel. Very grippy in the hand, and even on slanted surfaces. I love the feel it adds to the phone, and the size is perfect. The white specs are more pronounced in the pictures on Amazon than they are in person, they are still noticeable but not "sparkly" looking like they appear on the pictures online.

Holy crap, the Sandstone case posted by @peachpuff is AMAZING
Super thin and the texture is awesome.
It's even thinner than the Nillken which is hard to believe
Only issue is it DOES NOT have enough of a lip on the front to lift the screen off a flat surface if laid screen down. Not a huge detractor for me as I never have my phone screen down.
Anyone know of a armor case that protects the front and the back? all i can find now is a back case.

I remember I've had a full armor case for my HTC one m8, it was waterproof and shock proof and it was like the phone was laying in a bed inside the cover. It was big, but that's ok since I could carry it anywhere at work.

I bought these from eBay for like £2 each. They are quite OK. Build quality is crap. Feels like cheap plastic and the phone doesn't look premium at all u line what you see in the images. The cut-out for the fingerprint reader curs off a small bit of the screen about 1mm.and the screen protector cracks very easy. Avoid like the plague especially at that price.
Just get a uag plasma case and put on tempered glass in front. :good:

Any reviews or feedback on cases. I've always used a thin spigen TPU case with the carbon fiber look. Wouldnt mind another one or a suede feeling case.
Most of the good looking ones on ebay show no cutout on the rear for the fingerprint.

Anyone know where can I find this case?
I got this case and I feel it could provide decent protection. I am never a fan of thin or thick case. It's impossible to provide enough raised edges on thin cases. This case isn't perfect but I didn't find anything better yet.

I got a few from them. Thier full protection skins are great but hard to get on perfect. The back portion goes on easy as the skin is thick making application simple. They also over back protectors (no side/top/bottom flaps) that I think work best.
Bought this J&D case off Amazon for $10.99CND. Not too bulky. Wicked drop protection soft TPU inside Hard shell outside. Plus has plugs built in to protect charger port and headphone jack. Plus the volume and power buttons are super clicky. Highly recommend.
The clear TPU case provided with the phone is functional (I dropped my phone onto a hard floor with this case on and the phone was fine), but I do find the phone 'slippery' to pick up with this case. I have the Nillkin nature series tpu case for my Xiaomi Mi Max 3 (same size phone) and it is great because its edges are coated with a frosted grip material. Nillkin make this case for the Mate 20 and Mate 20 lite, but not for the Mate 20 x. Does anyone know of a similar clear TPU case that (unlike the Huawei one) has frosted edges for a better grip?
