LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 8 (oreo), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

Bluetooth
Camera

Audio

2) Sometimes Recents Panel FC
and You tell please.
Please read full OP and flashing instructions carefully
Some story about what we did actually to get treble
** We have interchanged partitions like oem= cache and cache= vendor to get treble support. Thanks to @warrenlobo for this idea.
** As our oem partition is 100% unused so no problem with booting custom ROMs.
Instructions :
1) Reboot to recovery
2) Flash Treble-TWRP image
3) Right after flashing Treble TWRP, Boot into recovery again
4) Now wipe/format cache. ( if this UI option doesn't work then use TWRP terminal command as " make_ext4fs /dev/block/bootdevice/by-name/oem" without quotes) now you are good to go
5) Now choose Treble ROM.zip to flash
6) Flash Gapps ( pico gapps are always recommended )
7) Flash Lineage add-on ( Check Faq 4) to get root or you may flash Treble enabled Magisk
8) Now reboot to system.
How to flash GSI ( Generic System Image):
1) Reboot to recovery
2) wipe all partitions except /vendor and storage
3) Now choose Install >> Install image >> choose image >> choose system_img >> Swipe to flash
4) now you may flash GApps as usual and (optional) Root it from Lineage add-on ( Check Faq 4) or from Magisk
5) Reboot to system
*** now TWRP will warn you about "" No OS Installed "" now please ignore this message and swipe to reboot. ***
Please do not use Lineage Root add-on for now , because it may cause boot loop. And this is because of binders and this will be fixed soon ( Check Faq 4 )
I think now its all cleared and please ask any doubts about this treble ROM before flashing
Faqs:
1) Are you thinking about, How to go back to normal ROM?
** Its very easy
** Just wipe all Partitions except storage
** Flash Roms Normally ( clean flash )
2) Is this Recovery works with normal ROMs?
** Yes ( flash any normal ROMs without any hesitation)
3) What's the difference with previous build?
** This is a test build for trying to boot some semi-GSIs(like MIUI 10 ARM),but since it switch to use 64 bit binder, you may have to flash GSIs built with 64 bit binder, but there are no much GSIs built with it.
You may experience stuck on splash with some GSIs.And most GSIs with 64 bit binder are larger than the space of system partition on our device. Thus if you have not much experience with it,don't flash it.
4) Can i flash Lineage Root add-on on 64bit binder enabled Treble ROM?
** Yes ( Please make sure that you flashed lineage root add-on on Treble 64bit binder enabled treble rom, if in case you flashed lineage root add-on on 32 bit binder enabled treble rom you might stuck with bootloop)
( more questions will be available with updates)

1) all customization are depends on GSI
2) you can easily go back to normal ROM and also no need to change recovery also this recovery works well for normal ROMs too
If you go back to normal ROM
Just clean / wipe all partitions except storage then flash the ROMs normally
OK I will update this in OP

No fully 64bit compatible vendor blobs available for our device

@karthik km the OP has android 9 screenshot....but it says the ROM is based on Android 8.1
If you can help me sir? How's a treble ROM different from a Normal one?

@karthik km
I used your first test version of treble 64bit (sourceforge) with treble vendor partition of redmi3.
The rom is bootable, but is unstable, has no audio or camera, I have no knowledge to solve.

I cant get this to boot - keeps asking for android decrypt password - even if I wipe data it asks for it (I know the password is but it says unsuccessful decrypt)
I presume it has something to do with selinux not being supported but since my device was encrypted I cant boot it
Tried restoring stock rom and then flashing it but same result

doesnt work - if you change to ext4 then you cant decrypt data
I also did fastboot erase userdata which is basically the same thing
Also flashed stock recovery too and it still asks for the decrypt key
Its not a twrp issue (I did compile twrp and its my twrp im using)
I'll just stay on lineage 14.1 until selinux is fix in this

They posted an solution in Cedric tester hub. Let me find it real wuick
Edit: use the format data option and accept by typing "yes"
Selinux isn't problem. A lot of ppl faced that. Join the tester hub If you want to read.

edit ok so after booting back to lineage 14.1 encryption was gone so I flashed back to lineage 15 and it booted
Strange but seems to be the work around for it
TheFixItMan said:
Like I said - I formatted data and user data and it made no difference
if @CodeZero could please post the solution here it would be helpful as I can't boot the rom as it keeps asking for decrypt key even after formating data wiping user data and flashing back to stock rom and reflashing
Iv just booted back to lineage 14.1 so I'll just wait for more information

*/
What is Project Treble:
Project Treble basically partitions your device into two separate partitions, a system and a vendor: system contains your generic system image, while vendor partition has your device specific files required for booting and running your phone. This way we can easily change the system image and be able to run our device on different system images with the same kernel and vendor partition
Read more about Project Treble
What's a GSI?:
A GSI literally means Generic System Image. It is a general system image meant for no specific device. Treble enabled devices have the capability to run a GSI. You can find a GSI here: Phh-Treble
Xiaomi Poco F1 hardware vs Treble implementation:
Xiaomi Poco F1 is an A-only device. This means that regarding the GSI images (GSI = Generic System Image) to be used, you need to get ARM64 and A-Only system images
How to report bugs:
Logcat, a simple description of the bug, kmsg or dmseg depending on the bug
What's Packaged in the zip:
Bootimage
A compressed vendor image
How to use:
Reboot to recovery (Custom TWRP recovery for Poco F1- @TheStrix recovery recomended])
Format /system, /data and /cache
Flash Modified vendor flashable zip package(One we shared. Needs to be flashed only once)
Install the GSI system image you wish to use (How to flash a Generic System Image (GSI) on Project Treble supported devices - Direct link)
Reboot
If GSI doesn't include gapps flash and boot
Important notes:
Formatting data (all user data is wiped, including internal storage) is a must if MIUI was previously installed and device was encrypted.
Working:
Camera (and flashlight)
WiFi
Bluetooth
Telephony (Calls and Data)
Audio (Record and Playback)
Video Playback
Sensors
GPS
VoLTE

In some 8.1 and mostly 9 ROMs you have a notification which can't be dismissed saying "device is HD capable" if you have VOLTE. This will get rid of that annoying slot for you.
If i flash any custom rom made for oneplus 6(or any devices) on poco f1 and then flash this vendor file. The question arrises will it work nicely? If it does we can use limitless roms we want ....... :good:
Installation Procedure:
- Clean / Format
- Flash vendor zip by Mik
- Flash Pie system.img
- Boot into the system
- Reboot to Recovery
- Flash Open Gapps + Magisk (if u want to root)
Hi, I've been experiencing bootloops both in HavocOS and PE, and when I rebooted to TWRP the data partition is encrypted. Is that normal or have I missed a step?
NVM, FML, I was installing the stock miui vendor file instead of the vendor-r1 file. Installed vendor-r1 file and everything works fine. thanks!

Top job! Thanks for your work.
What's the difference between GSI and Semi GSI? Will this vendor partition work with both?
Wow ,working excellent on or gsi, dual volte working too. Is this real for real.
Any of the equalizers(including playstore ones) are not working in AOSP GSI? Anyone else facing this problem? Is it vendor related issue?

A few notes before you proceed:
Before going straight to the downloading, there’s something we would like to tell you. We have changed the default encryption method for the phone, migrating to File-Based Encryption (you can get more information from the official Google documentation page). In order to get this encryption mode working, you will need to use our custom recovery (compiled from the latest source) which is compatible with this encryption and, just for the first time, you will have to wipe your internal data, so backup your data before proceeding.
Installation Instructions:
Grab our recovery and install it.
Through TWRP Recovery:
Install Zip > Install Image > Choose ‘recovery.img‘ > Select partition ‘Recovery’ > Swipe to confirm flash
Through Fastboot:
Code:
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
Install the ROM and then wipe your internal data partition.
Through TWRP Recovery:
Wipe > Format data
Through Fastboot:
Code:
fastboot -w
Reboot into system and wait until the process finishes, it could take a little bit. After the installation is done, I suggest waiting before using the phone because it usually goes into thermal throttling after installing a ROM.

Installed it with no issues and so far so good. It's a complete rom, has everything i need even gray scale reading mode. Didn't notice any battery drain for now, but still i always enable agrressive sleep and standby. Will give any further thoughts after i used it for a while. The onyl thing is that the simple gapps do not work on this rom, had to use open gapps.

Oke so my review in short. The rom is as most roms just fine. For my usage i have no bugs to report. The only slight potential donwside might be that the battery life was not as good as on pixy or superior os, but its not far behind. However this might be due to, I've used a lot more lte with this rom than on those since I'm back to work form vacation, and second that my battery might be giving me slight signs it'll need a replacement soon. So take the battery thing with a grain of salt, try it your self first and compare.
Is there a feature list for this rom?

Hi, thanks for the ROM, runs great from the short time I had on it (forgot to get gapps package) when I got opengapps 9.0 stock it said that the ROM needed opengapps for 8.1, same with Pico, pretty confusing. Any help would be great
Gapps issue
I even tried Simple Gapps, thinking maybe they would work. Will try 8.1, but it definitely won't use 9.0 gapps. BTW, I downloaded the nano gapps. Other than that, this rom is absolutely beautiful. It is fast, and it is just a very good-looking rom. So, I hope you keep working on this. I can't say enough about how quick it is. So, thanks, and I hope the gapp thing can be worked out. Okay, what ended up working was ARM 8.1 gapps. NOT arm 64. Not sure why or how. Just FYI. Thanks.
I shall be trying this ROM out soon. I have to flash gapps 9.0 arm 64?

LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit Gerrit Code Review.

How to install
Make sure you have latest bootloader and modem before installing this.
Make sure you are using the latest Twrp build. (the older ones will fail)
Make sure you have flashed the repartition script.
Download the Lineage build, optionally GApps and Magisk.
In Twrp format data. (Menu > Manage Partitions > Data > Format Data)
In Twrp wipe everything except SD and OTG.
Flash LineageOS.
Optional: Flash GApps (rightafter).
Optional: Flash Magisk.
Reboot.
Generally it's ok to dirty flash, but if you encounter issues a clean flash should be the first thing on your mind.

Because t585 does not contain a vendor partition, so this script repartitions the device and makes a partition for the vendor .

I didn't need that on A10, why do I need it now? Or is that because it's a GSI?

OK, thanks for the explanations ... I think I'll stay on my old A10 rom instead. I don't want to mess with partitions and stuff.

Can you make this for T580. Tried this partiton script but got /vendor (invalid argument) error
Hi
I have SM T585 U7
And I flashed (lineage16) on it, then I used ( repartition script) and flashed recovery (3.7.0.gtaxllt) and (lineage 18.1) and I did not like it very much, so I deleted it and also deleted (vendor) and flashed (lineage 16) again and restarted it, and it remained standing on the recovery logo and it did not It works until I flashed (cf root t585) via (odin), so it booted, but whenever I re-install any TWRP, it just stays on the logo and does not boot.
I got bored and wanted to restore the original system and downloaded it and put it in the (odin) and the flashing was successful, but the device continues to restart to no avail
I flashed TWRP again and found system (0
system img (3180
I do not know where the problem is, although the ROM is the original ROM, and the flashing is done successfully in Odin, but without a system
And it continues to restart. The Odin files that I used are the official AP.CP.HOMECSC .CSC.BL
I just want to return the original rom
Do you have a solution.
Thanks
I really need some help
I just installed this ROM successfully yesterday and it was working just fine on my sm-t585
But...
For some reason today it decided to brick my touch
Only the hardware buttons are functional and it's 50% charged so it's gonna take a lot of time for me to try to shut it down
So does anyone have any clue why that happened and how to fix it
(Note: the 2 touch buttons next to the home button are touch as well and they are also bricked)
Edit: I remembered that I installed the repartition script twice and now I have 2 vendors can I get rid of one ?! And how
Edit² : I did some troubleshooting and I found out what caused the touch problem...... It was the darn battery saving mode but now am wondering if anybody encountered the same problem

Active feedback is difficult.
Because Im not rom maintainer and specialist, If you have problems with this ROM, try another ROM.

Using a previously backed up kernel, the changes to support exfat were not applied.
The problem is solved by adding the following statement.
It will be reflected in the February update.

Unlocked Bootloader is mandatory to flash anything custom (ROM, kernel, recovery, Magisk/root)
Part of the Google requirements (in place already for years)
fastboot flash ...
is not allowed with the locked BL.
Even if ROM can be installed from TWRP, you still need to install TWRP first time by flashing through Fastboot, hence the BL must be unlocked anyway
There will be an update in March as well.
If you want to know the rom upload news in real time, subscribe to my telegram channel at the link below.
Starting from the Android 14 build notification, a survey of the custom ROM you want to build will also be conducted.

Hello! This ROM is great and all but it seems that I cannot connect to my TWS earbuds anymore (FIIL T1 PRO), it used to work in MIUI. Any way you can fix it?
edit: Oh! nevermind, it somehow fixed itself
In a situation where a clean installation is required, different ROMs are built according to the results of the survey.
Does this rom have call recording built in?
