Installed it. Doesn't have any option for percentage display.

Same boat, however the temp workaround comes from the notification panel showing the battery percentage. Takes an extra swipe but does the job

Seems like they are really following the footsteps of OP6...haha. Hopefully they'll fix this with an update.

Didnt work with any theme too...no battery percentage...
Need to swipe all the tym?

There is not any option to display battery percentage in status bar in UI settings. I am waiting for unlocked bootloader, then will go with aosp custom roms as miui is still buggy even its having most powerful hardware, performing like redmi note 4x.

There is no option to do that in settings however there are a few themes which display battery percentage in the status bar. I tried quite a few themes and found two themes which display battery percentage in the status bar -
1. Lakes mountains - I'm currently using this
2. Sand
If you guys find any other themes which display battery percentage please share them.

I want something that is position in the same place as the battery icon on the top right hand corner. I just cant believe android dont have this feature by default! It is better with percentage rather than just battery icon.
Unfortunately it will be possible only on rooted devices.
The Arc has been rooted so we just need some mods that help us with that.
I really hope CyanogenMod will be ported to the arc. It has this and many other cool functions like a Notification toggle.
Cheers
We just need the scripts, perhaps the stock gingerbread scripts from Modaco,CM7 or OTA N1 can help
or...
CM7 on Xperia Arc. That would be awesome!
That's why you shoul show to CM team that we are many users and not only 2 here: http://forum.cyanogenmod.com/topic/20708-sony-ericsson-xperia-arc/
Try Battery Minder, free from the market. You can put the percentage on the left corner of the top.
Done! I hope they start working on this ASAP.
Mod roms is the only reason I rotted my phone.
Once recovery is sorted, we'll be able to use the UOT Kitchen to try tweaking the battery images:

Try ZDBox available for free on the market. I am using it on my Arc. It is a great app which shows battery percentage as an icon, does the job of App to SD, got a good task killer and uninstaller...

I do like it, but isnt better if they are on original battery location? rather than the top left?? having two indicator instead of just one? Besides hopefully soon there will be a lot of theming after the root...make a lot of nice icons

Yes, I agree with that too. I will prefer to have the battery percentage indicator on the original battery icon on the top right corner.
It will be the same battery percentage icon modification as the X10.
Agreed!!..
Just twitt Paul O Brien of Modaco to build up a cuustom Rom, he will surelly add battery percentage and blinking lights for missed calls (hardware keys lights)

Im using 3.0.A.2.181 too..you should make a backup of the original as good practice, the phone should still boot if anything goes wrong but remember to enable USB debugging first
Sent from my LT15i using XDA Premium App
Please note I have not unlocked bootloader so I can only use ADB, can not use fastboot to recovery. My phone is only rooted. So I need enable USB debuging to use ADB to replace original framwork.apk if phone will not boot, is it correct?

Awesome! Think you could make one with the shade from your MotoBread theme? I like the lighter shade
Ran this, and now I have no APNs ? No mobile connectivity?
I know there's a fix out there but I didn't need it after my 2.3.4 update...I guess I do now.
edit- sorry, a reboot fixed it.

I'm not sure what you mean, they use the same image. Lower opacity? Lower black level? Done. In v3, along with 4g icons instead of 3g. In OP.
You rock nottach, running perfectly for me. Anxiously (and patiently) waiting for your 1% (or even 5%) battery mod
awsome thanks for the fix, any chance you can add a few toggles like gps, wifi, silent mode in the status bar like the captivate had?

Personally I just prefer the regular battery percentage. After a few days of phone use you get a feel how much each 10% lasts you depending on what you're doing.
