Its a generic guide, which unfortunately has no relevance to the find x as fastboot is disabled.
I believe we can only root this device via a root tool and there is no other way for now.

will the magictricks.zip do anything on the find x

It's not SIM unlocked and it's Verizon branded. Can be unlocked somehow? (I've bought unlock codes by IMEI address but it did't worked)
if it's not sim unlocked not much you can do about, get a different phone

It MUST exist a solution for sure, so if anyone got a solution, please share us!
THANK YOU!
The only known methods for SIM-unlocking a D2G are to convince Verizon to give you an unlock code, or to purchase an unlock code from a vendor who offers a refund on codes that don't work (because there is a good chance third-party vendors' codes won't work).
If you don't believe me, search this forum and the Droid 2 Global General forum for "sim unlock" and see what others have said.
hey, some Chinese has unlocked many d2g in a very "dirty" way, they use a software to change imei to ns device's, haha
But if we get their software, the software is helpful for unlock bl

What is the model of the device? Be more specific how are we supposed to help when all you've said is that you need to root a device...
use Kingroot latest version. I just did it on my GF4. Then if you want to switch to custom recovery, just create it yourself by MTK Droid Toos.

[Q] tmobile lg-v10 root method

hello everyone i am still kinda of new to this device i was wondering if there is any other easier method then using adb command prompt to root this device because when it comes to using adb usb i suck at it so any other help would be very much appreciated
Currently fastboot is the only option.

If you don't know how to use adb and fastboot, you shouldn't be rooting in the first place.

The only way I know how to root is when its with auto method like with note 4 or 5 which is much easier

I wouldn't go as far as to say that, I'm accustomed to the ol' "click & root" and managed just fine with a simple google search & xda forum search to root my v10 on my first try. :good:

Wish there was much simpler method of installing and rooting because for some reason adb doesn't detect my device says offline and never reads my commands

What is the current state of play with the V3 Max and custom roms / rooting? I've just bought 2 of these and we ideally need these upgraded to at least Marshmallow and possibly Nouget. If there is no progress I may just have to create the root/rom myself from scratch as this is very important (I am a seasoned developer and programmer as day job). Does anybody know where to download official stock ROM for me to begin?

Recovery.img please upload

Hello,
I did wrong with rooting my Motorola One Macro and lost my recovery.img, shall i redownload it anywhere??? or someone upload it for me from his phone??
