Hi everyone,
I'm trying to figure out how to save my Facebook contacts under my Gmail account so that they get synced to my Gmail.
For example, my cousin is a friend of mine on Facebook, although I do not have a contact for him in my Gmail account. Therefore, even when I sync my phone, he does not show up in my Gmail.
If I got to People-->Menu-->Import/Export on my phone, then select Export to SD card, my only options for exporting are Google, SIM, and Phone; hence no Facebook. Therefore, I don't know how to export my facebook contacts and then import them into my Google account.
Anybody know what the best way is to accomplish this? Thanks!
Last I looked, Facebook didn't allow you to export your "friends" info like phone number or email address.. so there is no "easy" way to import into Gmail/google contacts.
There were some tools available, and I found a tutorial that showed how to export from Facebook to yahoo mail contacts, then export from yahoo mail's contacts to a .CSV file which could be imported into Gmail.. Well, I could never get it to work Scratch that.. I just tried again, by going to Yahoo.com, and signing in using the "sign in with Facebook" link... then upgrading to Yahoo Mail... it DID import my 328 friends from FB into Yahoo's contacts, but only their name and primary email address... no phone, secondary email or other info.
Manually making Gmail/google contacts with the info from your FB Friends is the only sure fire way that I've found.

Thanks for the help, but that's what I was afraid you were going to say. It's a shame that you can't simply convert Facebook contacts into Google contacts on your phone so that they get synced to your Google account.
I wish you all a good time of day. I can not transfer contacts and calendar from nokia in sgs2. I read almost all the forums, good advice not found ... Have experience in such matters? Thanks in advance.
Hi,
You can try to save the contacts and calendar entries from the Nokia phone to PC in .csv format. Then import the entries into Google Calendar - and then just sync SG S2 with your google account.
To save in .csv format use nokia PC Suite
Already. . . Gmail takes the data and not share them on the field-name, last name and just characters and flourishes groups all data in one field (
I just got the NOTE yesterday and i love it im leaving my iphone 4 for but, my contacts synced to my live account and i cant sync my contacts on my iphone to gmail it only works on live, so i was wondering is there away i can sync my live account so all my numbers are on my note?

Whenever I import events into my i9300's Google Calendar all the events have my Google username after the title. For example if I was to import a birthday it would say...
XYZ's Birthday [lazeewolf]
ABC's Birthday [lazeewolf]
How do I stop my username being added to every event that is imported?
Thanks in advance for your help.
Does anyone know how to do this or will i have to manually edit over 500 entries every time i sync
Hi, I have several POP / IMAP accounts in Android KitKat stock email app (NOT Gmail), and I'd like to import .csv contacts from Microsoft Outlook into the app. Is this possible and if not, what app would enable this? I have already imported my telephone contacts and now I'd like to import the email contacts as well. Thanks.
