Stylus - Huawei P20 Pro Accessories

I've discovered that's possible to use a stylus Wacom Bamboo Sketch to draw and hand-write on the screen of the P20 Pro.
This stylus is, normaly, only compatible with IPad product. But also with Huawei smartphone and Mediapad
Anyone has a experience with a stylus?

can you make a video and how use how well it works?

I can't send a outside link (youtube).. sorry
How can I send it?

You use one that works well or is the problem of GT?
I tried the writepad and others

Hello,
I downloaded and tested quite a lot of these apps from which Freenote seems to be the most responsive for me. I am using the custom Startburst ROM and overclocked my CPU to 1.4GHz and even then there is lag but it is acceptable on freenote.
Antipaper notes does not seem to work well for me at all. Often missing out on letters completely!
I am still on the hunt for a good app so if you do find one please let me know

the wacom bamboo is one of the smallest, about 6mm tip. the rest are mostly 8mm tips. The Alu pen is an 8mm tip, but has a thick comfortable grip that makes writing easier.

Stylus pen and good apps

For some time now I have been using a capacative stylus pen with my Streak (on stock 351). I just wanted to share some usefull apps that works well with the stylus.
Freenote - great note taking app.
EzPdf reader - great reader which lets you anotate on the document* and save these in the actual pdf file.
Skitch/Evernote - Skitch lets you handwrite/draw and is well integrated with Evernote.
Graffiti - will allow you to use handwriting as input method.
Anyone else also using a stylus with your Streak? Do you have any tips?

To my knowledge there is no fine stylus for a purely capacitive screen. You can probably look up what the minimum diameter is for capacitive screens, and see if a stylus uses that minimum, or just make one.
I bought one but just didn't get on with it. I feel the screen is too small to use it effectively, especially for writing.
Perhaps I should persevere?
I guess it depends on the stylus, you can get capacitative stylusi that can draw fine lines.

School Notes App?

Hi guys,
Me being a student, I was wondering if there was any apps that allow for the import of pdf files to write over them with a stylus to take notes?
I've been trying to use my Prime to take notes in class and my professor puts out pdfs every lecture, it'd be great to be able to take notes on the pdf as he talks about it.
I've been using LectureNotes and recently Papyrus (love it) to take notes, but it doesn't feel as integrated with my classes add id like to.
I saw somewhere that there was an app that converts the pdf file into jpgs to allow the user to write on them. has any one heard of this?
Thanks
Stock App

The Asus stock MyReader app allows you to take notes on top of PDF files.
Best apps i have used to take notes are already included in your prime. Super note is amazing! No more physical notebooks for me! And MyReader works wonderful too.
Both apps paired with a Stylus and TouchScreen Tune = awesome

MyReader? I have MyLibrary is it the same? i had not bothered with it before cause i thought it was just an ebook reader.
I messed with it and it did let me edit a pdf that it already had on the library but it wont pick up the pdfs i loaded in the Prime from class.
I was thinking the same thing of finding out an app for note taking. Then I thought why not just take a screen cap of the full pdf page lol

Sir, I REALLY wanna know too! I am dieing to find a stylus with which I can take notes on my Tablet just as well as I do with a real notebook.
Please answer the following:
1) What stylus do you use?
2) What app do you use to write handwritten notes?
3) Does it really feel just as natural to write with that stylus and app combo as a real life paper and pen/pencil?
Thanks!

Thought I'd add my 2 cents.
I'm a first year University student so I need to take a lot of notes.
1) I personally use a wacom bamboo stylus and I like it alot.
2) I use Supernote pretty much exclusively for hand written notes.
3) It feels pretty natural after a while, however it's never going to feel like writing with pen/pencil and paper as it is just a different experience.

lols my 2 cents
at first i really liked superNote aswell but when trying to catch with some of my professors it felt slow and it bothered me that everything is in line.
that's why i moved to Lecture Notes, i really like how its like a notebook with pages and me being able to write anywhere on the page. then from this i moved to Papyrus, i really like how its like an infinite white board so i can write anywhere. its beta so missing some things but still awesome.
But anyhow are there really no apps that do what i need with pdfs? i don't gave that My Reader app

[Q] Pen input

Is there a chance that pen input like for the z1 ultra and the z1(after rooting) will be possible? Would be a lot more convenient than carrying around a stylus.

Xperia Blog suggests there will be.
With the current firmware, even the TW LTE version .55, there are enough issues with sensitivity with fingers let alone fine point conductive objects (I have the tablet and have tried all the available FWs).
Maybe with another update these issues will be fixed and we see glove mode and pen/pencil input.

But this was removed from the white paper, if you read the current one for the tablet it no longer contains this information. I also read that sony are releasing an eink tablet specifically for making notes (http://pro.sony.com/bbsc/ssr/show-d...alpaper.shtml?PID=I:digitalpaper:digitalpaper), so they may have removed the feature from this tablet, to encourage sales of the other tablet.

Then I guess we root then hack like Z1 users did to get pen stylus input. So long as the hw can support it then it's possible.

Notes App Alternative?

Does anyone know of a good alternative to the built-in Notes app? It works fine but I don't like using Samsung's apps if I there is an alternative.
I'm also going to try out some third party drawing and painting apps, so I'm open for suggestions there to.
Thanks

Thanks! In my 'quest' that one has been on most lists. I'll check it out. I think that 'Inkredible' is exactly what I was looking for, but haven't even used it yet.
Concerning your search for a good drawing app, I would suggest :
Autodesk's Sketchbook : I've been using it for a while (on my old Note Tab 2014 Ed.) and it's really good. IIRC some features must be unlocked (I probably did unlock everything a long time ago, so I'm not sure), but I love the UI : not in your face and very efficient.
Concepts : never used it but from what I've seen it looks awesome with some very cool features. Can't wait to test it on my yet to be received Tab S6 (not compatible on my old tablet)
Adobe Photoshop Sketch : I was using it a lot a long time ago (on my Galaxy Note 2) : I recall liking it a lot, I don't know why I'm not using it more.
Yeah as above stated auto sketchbook is good

Nebo does indeed look great. Does it have 'palm rejection'? Even their site only mentions it in relation to Windows.

I used to use a crippled version of Autodesk on a 7" tablet and loved it then! I just installed it and everything is now free.
Never heard of Concepts—I'll check that one out.
Photoshop Touch (discontinued) was also one of favorites from the past. I've read about, but have yet to find, the version that was modded for tablets and Pie—official developement was stopped way before Pie. This is probably the best Adobe app for smaller screens. IIRC it does "everything" well and when it was discontinued Adobe created 3 other apps that, combined, didn't have the functionality that PS Touch has. BTW, It's available in xda labs, but, like I said, it's UI is for smaller screens, and you'll have to track down, or go to my shared pCloud folder https://bit.ly/2VXRoLt to get the version modded for Pie. I don't have link to where I got it but I've checked it out, and I haven't done anything to it. It works on Pie, but the UI, imo, makes it unusable on large screens.
Thanks everyone!

Nebo has full palm rejection and is extremely accurate with its convertion. It has heaps of other usable funtions
I think this tab is freaking awesome! But.... I'm using onenote and the handwriting isn't as smooth as in for example Inkredible. Is there a handwriting app where l could write text and then move the text to OneNote? By the way, does OneNote have the handwriting-to-text-function somewhere?
Thanks guys!

You just convinced me. Thanks!
Squid is excellent if you just need it for taking notes and marking up PDF's. Not bloated with features you don't need. Has full S-pen pressure support, etc.
Also "INKredible - Handwriting Note" should be very good like i saw in a review. Im tempted to go for that.

I tried out thinking it had 'handwriting to text' feature, but it doesn't. I'm pretty sure I'll buy MyScript Nebo, but really just want 'handwriting to text' so am still looking for alternative.
Thanks
My issue with Nebo is that it does not support the pressure levels of the S-Pen, i.e., there is no difference in thickness. That is why I have returned it after a try. It is quite expensive either.

True, but I just bought it because it's the only app I could find with 'handwriting-to-text' function, which is really the only thing I want it for. $11 USD is a bit expensive, but in the big scheme of things I spend more on one lunch sometimes.
UPDATE: Works great! It even recognizes my very sloppy handwriting.
Just noticed MyScript Nebo is on sale for $2.99 USD—not sure for how long.
