Hi all, I'm looking for a tan leather bumper style case for my upcoming 6T, preferably that protects all sides of the phone. I've had a Google but not really come up with anything as of yet, anyone seen anything?

No idea as to the quality but I've seen these guys cases around for a while so I'm going to give it a go.
I'm looking for a bumper style one, I've seen this https://www.mobilefun.com/krusell-sunne-oneplus-6t-leather-case-vintage-nude-69941 but it doesn't offer any protection to the top edge.
Rog, looks nice but more for scratch protection than much help in a drop. My bad on skipping by the bumper thing BTW, my bad. lol

I have this pouch for my Nexus 5 and I have to say that it's the finest case I've ever seen. Great quality at not so big price, it fits perfectly and protect borders and screen from drops, and you can use your phone naked (I am esthetically offended by these otterbox and slim armours-slim????)
I was firstly surprised with the quality of the case where the pouch came when I ordered. It says that you are buying a high quality product, not some of that chinese clones that you find in ebay. Next month I'll purchase one for sure.

I like but never liked pouches unless you have screen protector and body armor on phone cause it gets scratched
Looks good, but I wouldn't want to slide my phone in and out all day.
Using a pouch seems so.. counter-intuitive. Even a flip case is easier to access the phone with

I like pouches; protect your phone in the pocket and no ugly cases when in use. I'm looking for one for the G3 but the mediadevil looks so cheap with the creased leather, not a good look especially at £20! are there any alternatives that look better and are cheaper?
Hi everyone, just switched from my Nexus 5 to an LG G3 today. First priority is to pick up a decent case and screen protector combo.
Been reading on the forums but haven't really found many definitive answers.
I've been looking at 2 cases:
-Tudia Ultra Slim Lite
-Diztronic Matte Black TPU
If anybody can shed some light on which will offer a better fit and grip/feel in the hand, and which is more compatible with a wide variety of screen protectors,
it would be greatly appreciated.
Lastly, I've noticed a ton of screen protectors seem to have one large rectangular cutout for the earpiece and sensors which I do not like.
Which companies offer the most screen coverage? (Doesn't have to be glass)
I've noticed these Spigen Crystal Clear protectors show precision cuts but who knows how accurate that is

Diztronics makes great quality cases. Was not a fan of the feel of tudia case for my g2. Cruzerlite cases are legit as well.
I don't have any pictures, but I have the Diztronic and love it. It has a nice feel and doesn't smudge like a gloss tpu would.
It's paired with a Zagg glass screen protector and fits well. For a glass that has precise cutouts the PThink brand that can be found on Amazon has just the earpiece cutout. I would have gotten that one if I found it before buying the Zagg.

Just thought I'd give an update here, possibly for anyone looking for a good case for their phone.
Got my diztronic in the mail today, and it makes me wonder why I never bothered to order one of their cases in the past.
For the price you pay, you're getting a great fitting case which looks good and feels good in the hand. Doesn't seem to add much extra bulk to the phone either.

Did you get the regular TPU case or the ultra version of it? Both are nice! I'd also recommend the Tactical Impact by Tech21. It is similar to the Diztronic but the TPU is more rugged and interior is lined with D3O material. Awesome case for $20

I opted for just the regular diztronic TPU as I didn't want to add any significant bulk to the phone but still have some sort of scratch protection
One thing that worries me about it though is if the matte coating were to start rubbing off.
This happened to a rearth ringke case I purchased for my Galaxy S2 way back when. That was quite disappointing
You shouldn't need to worry about wear on the diztronic case. I've had one on my Galaxy S3 for a couple years without any visible wear and it goes everywhere with me.

Is it so much to ask for a leather case that does NOT have a cover? I just want a nice, simple, slim leather case that is nothing more than a case. I really don't understand why there are hundreds of leather wallet or flip cases, some look as if they even have the nice looking case I want (only attached to a cover) but I have yet to find one single nice leather case. Apple themselves sells a gorgeous and simple leather case for their devices and it irks me that I am pretty much stuck with TPU bugdroid or polycarbonate as my choices for a slim and simple case.
Anyone finding anything I haven't?

Wow, the last time I saw Noreve come up they only had the flip/wallet case and pouches available. The back case (first link in your post) is new to me, and looks... pretty damn close to what I've hoped for. Thanks for the timely reminder!
EDIT: Just did a quick dive through YouTube and am a little skeptical about how accurate the renders on the site are with respect to the thickness of the case along the edges, and specifically how disruptive the cut-out portions might be.
There's a review of the iPhone 6 back case that shows just how chunky the sides are, and if you compare it against how the same product is rendered on Noreve's website, there's a pretty huge visual difference. And in my opinion the thickness on video looks a lot less attractive.
Anyhow, it might be mitigated somewhat by the relatively larger footprint on the Nexus 6, but I kind of don't feel like dropping ~$35 to test it :\
Yeah that case looks wayy too chunky.. the case should just be a thin layer of leather glued to polycarbonate.
You can always do what @Pilz did (and I later copied him). Get yourself one of them real Horween leather back skins from @slickwraps and slap it onto a Spigen case. Pilz has photos all over this forum of how good it looks. I have two cases, one with dark leather and one with distressed tan leather (my favorite), and rock them both. Nothing better than the smell of real leather!

Thats not real leather, and the quality seems to be pretty bad. many of those photos show fibers coming out from under the ring cutout for the camera, for several different colors.

Just letting everyone know that I ordered one of the leather cases off of Noreve. I will update when I receive it, and will post pictures.
What's the absolute grippiest solution for this phone? Most skins don't give a lot of confidence. Egrips doesn't make something for our phone and those rings or popsockets are huge

Go to the patchworks website. I can't post the link because i don't have 10 posts but i already have a spigen neo hybrid which is slippery but i kept because i like the color. The patchworks case has a slim and just a regular case but both have special grip on the side where you hold the phone.
i just got the alcantara case and it's by far the grippiest case ive used on any phone.
You could also try a bumper as well. Adds minimal bulk (also won't hide the color of your phone) and will add some grip too. I've heard of bumpers for the iPhone, but didn't realize there were ones for Android phones as well, haha. XD Erika Griffin mentioned one when she did her S8 unboxing on her Youtube channel -- the RhinoShield CrashGuard Bumper Case. I couldn't find it on Amazon, but I included the link to their official site.

Thanks. Bumpers unfortunately are too big. They add a lot of width to the phone which is already extremely big one handed

That sucks. D: Only other thing I can think of would be to try something like the Spigen Thin Fit or Airskin cases as they're about the thinnest cases you can get.
EDIT TO ADD: Almost forgot the Spigen Liquid Air case, which of the ones I mentioned, I actually own this one. The pattern on it seems grippy, but I have to see how it feels in-hand when I get the device.

Ya I have a couple like the air skin that are super thin. Just wish there was something thin that was really grippy. Might Plasti dip a case....

it adds a lot of grip if you "squeeze" the phone, but not that much when placed on a slope.

The speck pseudo grip is pretty decent. Pricey though.
I bought the Spigen Slim Armor / Metal Slate case for mine and it's a nice, tight fit. Feels great in the hand. Edges have a rubberish feel to them but don't add allot of bulk. Now the trick will be in finding a screen protector that will work with. Like I said, TIGHT!
My solution was the honeycomb skin from slick wraps. I've used it on my last 2 phones.
I agree with pieman13, I got a dbrand skin for my S6. Protects the glass from stuff wedging between the case and the back and is the right grip

shoot a load of jizz right to the back of your phone. it'll stay sticky and grippy, as a bonus no one else will want to mess with your phone.
I bought this case because it looked super thin. I know this is for the S8+ (this regular s8 forum is more active ), and it's awesome. It definitely is super thin, so it won't add much in terms of protection, but it has an amazing feel. Very grippy in the hand, and even on slanted surfaces. I love the feel it adds to the phone, and the size is perfect. The white specs are more pronounced in the pictures on Amazon than they are in person, they are still noticeable but not "sparkly" looking like they appear on the pictures online.

Super thin and the texture is awesome.
It's even thinner than the Nillken which is hard to believe
Only issue is it DOES NOT have enough of a lip on the front to lift the screen off a flat surface if laid screen down. Not a huge detractor for me as I never have my phone screen down.
Trying to look around for the toughest S8 cases out there. Seems most people search for ones that look good, or are slim.
I would like to know if anyone know of a couple, I honestly don't care if it looks bad or has bulk, toughest ones you know of. For now I have heard of UAG monarch, supcase Unicord beetle, spigen tough armor. Hard to find decent reviews since most of the seem biased.

Well I use the spigen tough armour on my s8+ and previously used it in my s6, it provides great all protection, plus you can get different colour panel, it's a thick silicone rubber case which has a wrap around hard plastic cover for the further protection and aesthetic, top and bottom from lips so that if the phone falls down even front down the screen never touches the ground and has the added bonus of a little kickstand to watch Multimedia
+1 on the tougharmor. I am using it on my S8 Active, and it is an excellent small case! Not as protective as the otterboxes, but is significantly smaller than it. Tough Armor is my vote as well!
I'm using Incipio Stowaway and it's a tank. I've dropped it a bunch of times and not a scratch on my S8

I have the Unicorn Beetle on the S8+. It is a very tough case and not too expensive. It is a two piece case. Hard to put on and off. I am using it with a film type screen protector, so no experience with glass screen protectors, but it looks like it should work with one. I cut the flap for the charging port off because it was a pain to get open every time I go to charge, but it doesn't seem to reduce the protection.
Your local home improvement store has a giant bag of cement mix you can buy for about $10. Mix that up, and toss your phone in the mixture, and it'll never break!!! ??
