I'd like to use the Google Phone app instead of the Huawei one, can anyone tell me if it's possible to do so?
Google Phone won't install from the store or from APKmirror...

So I ended up not using it anymore because I don't receive the Visual Voicemails anymore when it's the default app
I posted on the other thread, will see if there's a solution...

Nope, no luck... The Google Phone app displays my older Voicemail messages but I can't receive any new one unless I revert to the Huawei phone app

I am using the link that is from this topic above. But both this and the APK does not work. I had this app working fine on my Cell phone but then Disappeared.
Can you send the link that you think could solve my problem.?Why in the Play store says my device is not compatible with the version??

I think only modded version works with Mate 20 pro.

You can use either beta or stable both are modded
Check in your apps to make sure it's uninstalled first, as normally it won't install if there's already an app installed.

My caller ID is through my carrier and phone book. Spam protection is kind of there I can report spam and block however the app shuts down but Register's the info first. I have not received any spam notifications in incoming calls yet, but I think any calls I'd get I've blocked already.

Thanks for replying. I do have the caller ID name display feature for incoming from my carrier. I haven't seen any name displayed so far. Is that because i am using google dialer or it just shows up on stock dialer only while the call is flashing?

Some users are complaining about that. I think, this problem will be solved in a couple of days
I used aptoide and downloaded the Hangout apk and it replaced Talk and now its working as it should.

I can't see the big differences from the old app.
Can you send photos and videos out files with it like whatsapp? I haven't found a way to do it.
Furthermore I can't add a photo to my chat profile without having to add it to Google +.
And my contacts that I have pictures of in my contact book are shown without pictures in the chat since they haven't got a picture on Google+.
So far I am a little bit disappointed with these issues and whatsapp will unfortunately still be a more preferable way for me to send messages for a while longer.

Use Titanium Backup or similar software to remove Talk-app (remember to backup) and then install Hangouts from Google Play. Worked for me!
1)Delete talk with titanium backup
2) Restart device
3) Install hangouts from google play

I personally made a simple app to make chat working again in main Facebook app without Messenger.

Hey jinesh, even if package name is the same, digital signature is different. So, will never say update available for Messenger app

Notifications for Gear S work only on Android 4.4.x not on 4.3
I have both apps and disabled one and it doesn't allow me to reply In whatsapp at all. Tell me what's going on. . Using note3
uninstall both (with clear cache ) and re install only one! i tried only the PY version and works fine.
I've been using Notifications for Gear S and have had no issues.

I've both apps, too! ...i prefer gottahavit's app
Look in settings, there is an option "prefer keyboard" check it an replay should work

I meant the facebook messenger android app. It should let you reply from your watch as long as you are getting notifications on your phone from messenger.
I'd like to replace the stock dalier with the HTC from my U11 one if possible. It shows all incoming, outgoing, missed, contacts etc.
Is it possible? How do I do it please
I'm not sure if you can, there's a modded Google phone app which works with every model, however the unmodified version won't install on huawei EMUI
I would guess that the HTC dialler would need modding to work.

Some dialer apps available on Google Play should be able to provide all you need as found on the HTC U11.
