Software keys is almost ready, with stock navbar, stock gesture navbar and SmartNav (SmartBar/Fling/Pulse). Hardware keys are next. I lost my SOGs with SmartNav but I think I know why... lol fun, fun

That's why they call it "building" roms! It's very smooth and fluid, it'll be nice to see the progression. I like SmartBar and haven't really adopted "the pill" yet, so that will be a great add! Cheers

How do you get a auto face unlock?
Is that face unlock in oos or like the trusted face?

Same thing lol. Make sure you have a PIN or some device locking set up, then you need to allow it by going to Settings > Security > Advanced > Trust Agents and enabling Smart Lock (Google). Then, face unlock becomes available.

Hey there!
I know that this may sound like a silly question but I have been out of the flashing game for a couple of years now so I am a bit cautious. I am on OOS 5.1.7 (no root or custom recovery yet), after flashing twrp will this be a problem when flashing the rom?
Additionally can I also flash SuperSU instead of magisk for root access?
Thank you

Uhhhh... lol Are you bootloader unlocked? If not, it will wipe your device. I'd suggest reading up on the process before diving in.
As far as SuperSU... I wouldn't. It was sold off to some Chinese company a while back... Magisk 17.3 is available and recommended if you want to root. You can use the Magisk app to not only manage root access but to hide root from certain apps (Android Pay, for example).

This ROM is nearly flawless. VoLTE works, SafetyNet pass with Magisk. There's some minor stutter here and there and for some reason I can't see Trusted Face in Smart Lock even after installing a full gApps package.
Also, is there a custom kernel available to use with Pie?

Hi! Nice Rom, I have a bug with volume buttons. Sometimes when I press up button or down button only change 1 value and when I press again change -1. I don't know why. Best regards

thank you, I have the bootloader unlocked from settings, but if I got you right since it will wipe the internal memory I will need an otg to hold the rom until the process is complete, right?

We’re really excited to announce that we are releasing our Nougat flavour of Paranoid Android. We have a lot in store - with a mix of both features & improvements.
First & foremost, we have moved our code base to be fully CAF based. This brings many improvements to your device. The key improvement here is that Qualcomm hardware is better tuned on the CAF base and with our additional optimisations we can provide a smooth and fluid user experience that will let you enjoy using your device without any lags.
On first launch you’ll notice a clean setup with a beautiful wallpaper from Hampus Olsson who’s teamed up with us again and created several beautiful pieces of artwork. For those of you who don’t know, Hampus is a multi-disciplinary artist whose work stands itself and we’re glad to have him onboard. We have also added several new features and made improvements to the UI of the system that we believe would enhance the overall experience.
Pie
We’ve been working hard on redesigning this key feature of our portfolio and we’re really happy with how it has turned out. The whole design has been reworked and it fits in well with the overall feel of Google’s Material Design. This gives you the opportunity to use more gesture based control for navigating, rather than using the standard Navigation Bar at the bottom of your screen. Expect improvements and additions in the future.
Color Engine
We’re proud to announce our newest feature - Color Engine. Color Engine allows you to seamlessly change the colors of your device to be in Light, Dark (Pixel) and Black modes with a variety of accent colors to choose from. This makes changing the theme of your device really quick without having to install any extra packages on your device.
Major features:
- Reworked Pie
- Color engine
- Immersive mode
- Buttons customization (including navigation bar)
- On the spot controls (OTS)
Minor features:
- SafetyNet Compatibility
- Battery/Notification LED control
- Recent tasks locking
- Battery icon customization
- Google now page in default launcher
- Substratum (OMS) support (Color engine will be deactivated if you use Substratum)
- Quick pulldown
- Various performance and battery improvements
- Display Burn-in protection (for OLED screens)
- More to explore
Device specific features for OP3(T) (List is being updated):
- Oneplus 3(T) custom camera HAL: Resulting in better picture quality than OEM.
- Implemented custom picture background processing leading to very fast shutter speed (OnePlus 3(T) specific)
- Offscreen gestures
- sRGB support (OnePlus 3(T) specific)
- Alert slider customization
- aptX and aptXHD support
- Specific device performance and battery optimizations (details on this coming)
Note: Custom kernels are explicitly unsupported and will cause issues
unless they state that they are AOSPA compatible or AOSPA based!

I can't seem to get this to boot. Did you just use the normal flashing instructions for any other May Pixel ROM?
First I am still on April bootloader.
Never flashed may stock.
Always flashing like this:
Boot to twrp
Wipe factory reset
Advanced wipe cache and system
In twrp reboot
Reboot to the not active slot
There will be a error message that you don't have system installed
Hold vol- and reboot
You are going straight to bootloader on the not active slot
Reboot from there to recovery twrp
In twrp flash rom and twrp
Hold vol- and reboot
From bootloader reboot recovery twrp
In twrp flash image O vendor as vendor
Then flash gapps. I used beans
Reboot
Once in system
Reboot to twrp and flash su
Because I never was on may image I still use sr3
Reboot
Be happy

Why are you holding down volume and rebooting?
Just go to the reboot menu and select recovery, you reboot into recovery..
Im confused
Sometimes it doesn't worked for me. Don't know why.
So I got used to it.
And I didn't mentioned it because I think it's not necessary anymore.
I still Wipe 3 times because I am used to it from years before with clockwork

I have installed beans gapps. Can't sign in with my google account, having an error for Cannot connect with Google servers. Some people suggested 2 step verification was the problem. Turned it off and cleared the data for google apps. Still can't connect. Any suggestions ?

FAQ:
Before using the ROM:
Q. Can I have an ETA for the next build?
A. Yes, just look in the OP to see if your device is built on a nightly or weekly schedule.
Q. Does this ROM support custom kernels?
A. No. You can still use them, but discussion should go in the thread of the respective kernel. We don't offer support for bugs you might encounter while using them!
Q. Why doesn't this ROM support Xposed?
A. Xposed is a hack that is geared towards AOSP, custom ROM's modify the framework a lot, so Xposed can cause a ton of issues on custom ROM's. Now it might work for you, however it is not to be discussed in this thread, and you should refrain from posting bug reports.
Q. Alright, but I still want to flash Xposed, so which version do I need to install?
A. You will need to use the version arm64/arm/whatever for SDK 27.
Flashing the ROM:
Q. What do I need to know before flashing?
A. Check the install instructions in the first post...
Q. Can the builds be dirty flashed over each other?
A. Yes, however make a nandroid backup first as there is a chance of getting a bootloop or encountering bugs. Also bugs may only be reported on a clean flash.
Q. How do I dirty flash builds?
A. Wipe the System, Cache and ART/Dalvik cache. Flash the ROM, GApps (only needed if you wipe the system), your preferred root solution and reboot. Or just use the OTA app to preform that task for you.
Q. How do I flash kernel builds?
A1. If it's a .img file, boot into TWRP and go to the install page in TWRP, in the bottom right corner select "install image", select the desired kernel, then select "boot", then swipe to flash, then go back to the install screen and install your root method again, if you don't want to loose root and reboot.
A2. If it's a flashable ZIP, you can flash it together with a ROM update or separately. Go to the install page in TWRP, choose the kernel zip (or add it to the flash queue right after the ROM zip). Then add your root method to the queue if you don't want to loose root. Now swipe to flash, and then reboot.
Using the ROM:
Q. I installed a bad theme and now I'm getting a bootloop, how do I fix it?
A. In TWRP, flash the substratum rescue zip that's in the substratum folder on the internal storage.
Q. Do I need to provide a logcat if I'm reporting a bug?
A. If you want it to be fixed faster (or at all) then yes, you should definitely provide a logcat. (Note: Please just link the logcat from your GDrive, Dropbox, etc. and do not post the content here. Thanks.
Q. How do I get a logcat, what type should I get and more questions that can conveniently be answered by my pre-determined answer?
A1. Read this thoroughly. Also, here's a good app for getting logs: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tortel.syslog (Root needed).
The ROM should contain everything you need to enjoy Android. You don't need to install any Add-on's, simply download the latest ROM, GApps, flash it and go!
If you want the device to run the ROM "rooted", you can flash a root solution of your choice after the ROM Zipfile.
It is STRONGLY recommended to fully wipe your device before flashing and please avoid restoring system apps and system data with Titanium Backup as this can cause stability issues that are very hard to debug.
If you believe you know what you're doing - then fine, go ahead, but please don't complain if you experience any strange behavior.
- Backup your personal data (Important)
- Download the ROM and GApps and transfer them to your device.
- Boot to recovery (TWRP recommended).
- Wipe the System, Cache, Data and ART/Dalvik cache.
- Flash the ROM + Gapps Zipfile.
- Flash the root solution of your choice (optional).
- Reboot your device.
The ROM has GApps persistence in between dirty flashes, so you only have to flash them once!
The root solution should be flashed together with every update (= ROM Update)
Currently Supported Root Solutions:
Magisk stable
Magisk versions higher than 14.0 doesn't require flash on every dirty flash depending on the device, some devices need you to flash it every time, unless your maintainer says otherwise it should be fine

GApps: OpenGApps

I am having trouble with the build.prop patching zip though.
Never mind, you can disable the software buttons by addin the line "qemu.hw.mainkeys=1" to build.prop.
when flashing the rom it is flashing with gapps pkg too which is giving me error in installation!
Works great. Is there a way to use the navigation pill?

Never mind, you can disable the software buttons by addin the line "qemu.hw.mainkeys=1" to build.prop.

Cool.... Build.prop patching means that pixel theme one? What problem u faced?

See adaptive battery is a pixel exclusive feature but can be get by an overlay ... I'll add that animation too but for now adaptive battery is under Battery management in Battery section... Only diff is animation isn't present here

One of the two supplied zips gave a message while flashing that it's use is to disable the software keys. That didn't work, so I disabled it manually in build.prop. Not a big issue. Have to say though, this ROM is running smoothly with no major battery drainage
Couldn't get root access even with Magisk 16.7 or SuperSU. Any luck for others?

When I'm near the WiFi router and signal is decent, speeds are up to par with Oreo, but when the signal drops WiFi is indeed very unstable and slow.

Same here, tried two clean installs using different gapps, not ready for primetime.
Maybe try POSP released today on TG, seems very good so far & comes with Optimus Drunk kernel and Lawnchair launcher. HavocOS for Pie (on TG group) was also good, everything working well & lots of customizing options.
"Error 7" flashing un TWRP
How can I install this ROM? since I downloaded the latest version, but at the time of flashing in TWRP it loads a bit and then I skipped a screen of "error 7" I understand that this happens with TWRP versions that do not support 64bit systems, but my version of recovery is 3.2.3-0 and this error only comes up when I try to flash this ROM, could someone help me? since I really want to try this rom

This didn't happen to me installing this ROM using TWRP 3.2.3-1, installed ok in TWRP but on booting to system it keeps shutting down and rebooting, so don't bother this ROM needs more work anyway. If you read the thread the posts above yours mentioned this problem.

I also have problems with that version of TWRP, since when I flashed this version I already tried it directly from my recovery, I tried it from the official TWRP app and I already tried to flash from applications like "flashify" and at the moment of doing it, all it appears in order ... but when I try to enter TWRP again, it does not enter, it throws problems on the screen and does not enter TWRP, I do not know what the cause is

You must have some other problem, I've used all potter TWRP versions since phone came out & no such errors. All ROMs install fine in TWRP and this one only can't boot to system which is in the ROM itself. Sorry can't recommend anything more but maybe post in the official TWRP development thread in this subforum.

Thanks for your work but you seem to be the only one.
Just tried again with no gapps and same result, when it gets to desktop within 1-2 seconds it says shutting down and reboots. The other day I tried twice using the same micro opengapps that I've used with other recent ROMs with no problem. Clean installs in TWRP which reports successful install, booting looks normal until you get to the desktop.
Camera Stops working
Camera installed from stock Gapps is not working and can't open other camera mods
Only stock moto camera is working
ROM is now weekly and the link is https://sourceforge.net/projects/sy...tter-v1.2-20181027-1437-OFFICIAL.zip/download
This rom is really nice.. Thx dev.
Well i just installed that rom and i can say that everything is working flawlessly until now. I hope the the battery life would be good also like everything else in that rom.

it is only 3.18.xx. no system wide night mode so no google dark, or chrome beta dark. or any app that will use the night mode. SElinux is permissive. google play store doesnt see it as a pixel. i didnt open photos, so i dont know if it had unlimited pixel storage. cool fonts. but battery eater. too many overlays. systemui registered on the battery app. only other time i have seen that is with substratum. a few extra wallpapers i saw in there. boot screen was cool but didnt fit the screen. seemed too slim for the screen. started to log in to stuff but thought the wiser of it. when i see my battery tank in 2 hours, clean install. full wiped both systems, both a and b. adb over the rom and twrp installer to twrp fastbooted. also would of been better with a black mode. anyways would not of tried if it had not said linux 4. got me on that..

Not a bad experience, testing it. Just what I found. I like the scorpion section. All the mods in one spot for UI. I know I had revert back a few times on theme. When I change font and display and when I ticked on immersive. And don't get me wrong, I am just reporting what I saw. Thank for the work. It is not easy.

- Flash vendor (beryllium-9.2.25-9.0-vendor-firmware.zip)
- Flash the ROM + Gapps Zipfile.
- Flash the root solution of your choice (optional).
- Reboot your device.
The ROM has GApps persistence in between dirty flashes, so you only have to flash them once!
The root solution should be flashed together with every update (= ROM Update)
Currently Supported Root Solutions:
Magisk stable
Magisk versions higher than 14.0 doesn't require flash on every dirty flash depending on the device, some devices need you to flash it every time, unless your maintainer says otherwise it should be fine
ROM: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1UkbQGOvauEpgdvpBnwPTOqBmTta3h9gl
GApps:
Unofficial OpenGApps
OpenGApps
calls might start out on speaker. i have seen this issue on other roms and will be looking for a way to fix it soon!

ohh for sure bro it shall! I will follow the procedures to note any bugs (hope they don't show up and die lol) and report back to you, also i will make sure to keep the stock kernel just to have bugs related to ROM purely if applicable of course!

sure bro I appreciate your hard work you put to this ROM, amazing work dear! have a good night bro
this ROM is soooo good and blazing fast, buttery smooth and good number of customization. I also love the way you put the customization in the settings like its a default stock rom (idk how to say it, its no like other custom roms that put the customization in one place and it didnt look natural idk) the only bug I found was ;
1. waking up from lockscreen took sometime.
2. the notch items didnt line up. (the battery and clock is pushed wayy to the side.
keep updating this beautiful ROM !!!
soft fast scrolling very good despite having a minimalist personalization is really excellent ... on the other hand the unlock by fingerprint fails and facial recognition does not work, you can not access the memory card, in general lines it looks very good
Great work
