Disabling the notch on MIUI 10 Global 8.11.13 - Xiaomi Poco F1 Themes, Apps, and Mods

On previous MIUI versions I saw such option to disable the notch, however I don't see it on 8.11.13 no more. Any work around or suggestions? Thanks.

since its based on pie, did you tried to go to developer options and disable notch there like the pixel 3 xl

Until a better solution shows up - such as it being reintroduced in the next update - Nacho Notch is the best solution I've found. Just make sure you give it the appropriate permissions and set your powersaving such that Miui won't kill it constantly

hi. Apart from disabling the notch, how to disable that little 4-shortcuts-square-menu that comes on the top right or left corners in fullscreen apps/games. It includes screen capture video shortcut and other 3 shortcuts. I keep clicking the show-up-menu in those corners accidentally in games and its driving me crazy. Any help?

On official Pie they disabled (or forgot?) the hide the notch option, hope they fix it for the next update....does someone knows if face detection is good on non official Roms? That´s my only reason for staying on stock Rom until now

Ah, this is great!
I'v seen this feature in the review of the Honor 7 and found it really cool, so thanks for the module ztc1997!
unfortunately, it caused constant SystemUI crashes on my Nexus 5 running Cataclysm ROM (which incorporates Navbar tweaks).
sorry, but I couldn't grab any logs
Great module - working fine on Nexus 5 running 5.1.1 stock.
Any plans on having your module and GravityBox Nav Bar tweaks working together? I use GravityBox to change the size of navbar, it would be awesome to be able to hide my navbar and still keep it small.
Thank you, nice job!

Awesome module!
Works ok on Nexus 5 on 5.1.1 LMY48I.
However I don't understand a thing:
I use it together with gravitybox and navbar stuff is changed, and it works with the module active (for example, the navbar is 80% tall). However, after hiding and swiping up, the bar is 100% tall like no gravitybox options were set. Why? can't you mantain the navbar properties and put them there again?
Edit: I noticed also that the "v" icon on the navbar interferes with all custom icons on navbar (not only gravitybox), pushing them to the right without reducing the distances between all of them to fit all them in screen like would be normal. Is this normal behaviour?
This module is cool but mostly everyone uses GB or navbar tweaks, so a bit of compatibility would be awesome!
Thanks a lot for the module!
SystemUI keeps crashing on Moto G 1st Gen. running SlimSaber.

Notification icons in top left part of the notch

This is the most ridiculous thing in the poco F1, not sure why many people are not complaining about this in the review. Unlike in OnePlus6, a phone with notch, where you still get notification indication in the top left notch area, in poco F1 MIUI, except for time, we don't see any notification indication in the status bar.
Shouldn't there be a option to disable clock and show notification icon instead?
The AM/PM is so not necessary.

There should be option for on /off status bar icon.
Yeah, this is pretty annoying. Sadly, it isn't fixed in MIUi 10 either, since my niece's Redmi 6 Pro works the same. And it even doesn't have that wide notch, couple of notification icons could be easily fit on either side.
This is so annoying, I wish Xiaomi adds option to toggle time and icons
Interesting thing is for Bluetooth transfer, it's cutting AM/ PM and adding the Bluetooth icon

The same thing happens to me, it's a serious problem. I'm still waiting for it to be fixed in future updates.
As per my experience I wont be fixed soon, if sometimes. This is the issue with many Xiaomi phones and still persist in upcoming MIUI 10. This was a reason, why I turned back phone to seller.
Pretty annoying to see that nothing indicates there are notification in the notifications drawer once phone is unlocked. I don't care if they don't put the entire icon of WhatsApp or messages or just a couple of dots to show there are notifications in the notification drawer. Missed a couple of important updates from an app !!!
Not only is it a waste of screen space, it is annoying to always open the notification drawer to check which notifications, if any, have arrived

Dark Theme not working?

So, I have a google pixel 3 and I am on the beta program. I have Android Q and a few of my apps are in dark theme which is really nice. But I can not get calendar or keep to be in dark mode. I also cant find the required released version number that has this ability. So I am not sure if I have not gotten the updated applications yet or if it is not working.
Does anyone know the versions that support Dark theme? My calendar app is 6.0.34-248082108-release and my keep is 5.19.191.07.40.
Thanks.
Hi,
go into System /Developer Options and search for override force dark mode..

As best as I can tell it's just as smooth as 9.9.6. If I notice any differences I'll update.
My biggest gripe is it still has the same bug if you have a work profile where you get a lot of error popups. Was hoping that would be fixed

For the app to access location is it possible to only use the network this time? on my 9.9.6 I can only use the GPS, so if an app want to access my location and I agree it turns on the GPS. As it been fixed?

I confirm. It was broken and now is it working. One bug is still here, Google Maps overlay don't appear unless I call the "multi-window" view (the thing like ALT+TAB on windows).
About ambiant display, it's not bad but it would need a ton of customizable settings to be perfect : notification icon size, luminosity, custom background, message sender name, pulse duration and so on.
Can i enable the App drawer in MIUI 11?
