Excellent 8125 Replacement Parts - Cheap

If you are looking to replace your 8125 case here's an excellent deal.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=360011196557&ssPageName=STRK:MEWN:IT&ih=023
I've purchased one of these and it includes all the buttons. The antenna cover already had the antenna installed. It even included the black rubber gasket around the display. All I had to move was the ear piece and the vibrator.
I don't know if they are take offs but mine was in A+ shape. They don't include the back cover.
Awesome!
Beats paying $50+ for a new shell...
My only question is; can you move the MDA circuitry to the 8125 shell? Seems logical, seeing as both are the same hardware.
Great find... They also have the wiz200.

I got the same housing from this seller and it's brand new! No scratches, no nothing. Just be aware that it does not include the battery cover.

I bought one from them and sent a message to them that there was a chip in the corner of one of the pieces.
In the auction listing, it states that they may come damaged but should not affect working order.
So...be aware that there may be cosmetic damage.
They were kind enough to send a replacement, which I should be getting in a few days.
Hopefully, it will be a new piece.
Update:
These guys are great....well in my case anyways.
In the previous post I mentioned that a had a chipped corner on the housing and requested a new piece.
Well, those guys sent out a whole new setup..this one was in great shape....dont know if it was new, but looks practically brand new.
There was never any questions on their end...they just sent out another one.
I would recommend them highly. Great customer support.
O btw, I told them I would send the original one back...they said to keep it.
WOW...top notch guys.
I just ordered one of those cases i'll make sure to let you all know how it comes when i get it!
Very Nice... there were a few minor scratches on the corners and buttons but other than that the housing i bought for my wizard was in great shape! no battery door cover tho
can some post a pick of the how the device looks in this housing?
got mine. no back cover, no screws. so what, do i use the screws from my wizard shell to close the new 8125 shell?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7409Gq51RFE
Gotta check this out. It's alot cheaper than others.
Thanks
I got a Wizard 100 (Cingular Branded) shell. It looks brand new.......not one scratch on it. It didn't come with a battery cover though
Ordered it last night...Should be here middle of the week.I hope it's in good condition.
anyone knows where i can get some extra screws?
i was about to assemble the wizards guts in to the new shell, but the keypads dont line up, if i go along and assemble, i wont have use of the send call button and the end call button, and some other buttons as well
Good Deal
The one they sent me was in great shape!!!
I just ordered a shell for my T-Mobile branded Wizard 200....I hope it will be practically new like the Cingular Branded Wizard 100 shell I ordered earlier...

Anyone using the Krusell case for TC with an Orbit 2?

The title says it all really, just want to know what the fit is like etc. As far as I can make out we're a bit stuck for cases for the Orbit2.
Many thanks. Apologies if I've missed this if it's covered here somewhere.
OK, just to round this thread off, in case anyone else out there is thinking of buying a Krusell case for the Touch Cruise to use with their Orbit 2, I now have one and basically I am fairly happy with it.
On the negative side, the case adds a fair amount of bulk and it's not possible to have anything plugged in to the bottom connector (a real pain for headphone use) whilst the case is poppered up. The fit is not exactly right, many of the holes don't line up exactly as they would if the case was designed for the Orbit2. The popper you need to pop to open the case to take a call etc is a bit of a fiddle, would have been great if Krusell had designed in a tag to make that easier.
On the plus side; the case is a big improvement for me over the case that came with the phone. The quality is great, ah the smell of new leather! The holes at the back for the camera and mirror and the speaker seem to line up fine. The fact that the holes at the front don't line up perfectly doesn't seem to make any difference to the quality of phone calls.
My plan is to get hold of a leather punch/sharp knife and do some customising, so that I can plug my headphones in whilst the case is closed and to enlarge some of the holes at the front so that it should all fit properly. Then if Krusell/someone else releases a custom made case for the Orbit 2, I wouldn't think I'd even want to change it.
If anyone else is interested and wants me to post any pics let me know and I will be more than happy to do so.
It would help if you had a link to the product.
I am interested in seeing your pictures too...because often times I have found the pictures on the manufacturers \ store websites are VERY misleading and small.
Thanks in advance.
Would it really help you? I see you are in the US, I am talking about the O2 (European) Orbit 2 which has differing dimensions from the rest of the Polaris', due to the O2 branding, which gives the whole phone a different shape and means various bits are in slightly different positions from the Polaris/Touch Cruise. If this still might help you I can fire up the camera and post some pics, no problem.

need help to replace the housing..

Hello , I have a p4350 wing.
My problem is i broke up the one of the thin plastic piece that holds the back cover.(just near the stylus)
So the cover gets out very very easily..
My only chance is to change the inside housing i think.. which the part seen on the attachment picture upper right.
I couldnt find any seller on the net that sells this part seperately.. So.. if somebody on this forum has a broken 4350 or bought such kit and doesnt need that part..
I will be glad to buy it..

Not many Samsung hardware engineers on this forum I guess.
come on guys you can do better. waiting for replies. i had the guts to get my galaxy S2 opened to solve this problem
Looks like just what you said, a piece of plastic that is used to insulate it, and/or block dust from entering thru the mic hole.
Ah - that's the temporal distributor. When you speak into your phone it can take a few seconds to convert that to a digital signal, transmit it to the other person and then convert it back to an audible sound. The temporal distributor uses tachyon particles to convert the audio to digital AND send it back in time, so that there's less of a delay. It just means that people will hear you a few seconds after you speak, but no-one will know that unless they're in the same room as you.
Urm... Wow? My SGS2 can send out signals faster than light?
So it uses a Tachyon Digital to Analog convertor (DAC)?
Urm... where is the flux capacitor located, and if I travel at 60mph, does it take me into a tunnel with swirly lights then reappear somewhere else either in the future or past?

No mate - that's at 88mph
Incidentally, travelling faster than light wouldn't make you go back in time. Light is all about perception, not reality.
thanks but since this part has been removed from my phone by the authorized service centre, will it affect my phone in any way. i am really worried now and from where can i get the replacement for only this part. anyways i received the below reply from an ebay vendor selling replacement mics

That plastic piece is not supposed to be there.
There is another microphone on the top of the phone, you can see it in your picture, and it hasn't got the protection.
That protection is only used during production, the microphone is picked up by a machine using vacuum, so it must have a flat surface. The protection must be peeled off before assembly of the phone.
It is a mic grommet, it should be there.
So nobody else got this piece of plastic? Didn't check by myself...but also got this damn bad mic -.-
I had it. Just took it off and the mic is less worse now.

i think samsung service is taking off these parts on phones having the mic problem, anyone else planning a visit to Samsung ASS to get this sorted.

are you sure this plastic piece is not supposed to be there. have you checked your phone. seen a disassembled phone on ifixit it had this plastic on the mic. really confusing. samsung needs to answer how can they leave things inside the phone that interfere with normal performance of the phone

why not give it a try but make sure the samsung technician opens the handset in front of you and returns the plastic piece back to you. unfortunately i was not returned the plastic piece.

Oops! Sorry, I took a look at the service manual now. I only saw your pic before.
That part is called a grommet, usually made of rubber, it is supposed to absorb vibrations from the case and not transfer them to the microphone. Also helps to route the sound from the hole in the case to the microphone. Yes, it should be there, but it's not going to affect anything else but the sound quality.
Sorry for the misinformation.

thanks, i want to go through the manual. Please let me know where will it be available from online
Here's the service manual.
http://es.scribd.com/doc/56542824/Samsung-GT-i9100-service-manual
Don't worry too much about not having the grommet in place. If your voice can be heard fine by the other party, there's nothing else to worry about.
Except water and dust.

New speaker replacement part?

So I am refinishing a photon for a client and am trying to save him some money, I can get it from here: http://www.cellulardr.com/sprint-ph...55-electrify-headset-speaker.html?review=true for 21$ shipped....
There has got to be a cheaper one on the internet....it isn't blown or anything, just one of the wires is yanked out and way too small to solder.
Is it possible to remove the actual speaker and just buy the speaker housing with wires for cheaper? Basically I'm looking for links to cheaper solutions. Major props and thanks to anyone that can contribute.
Sent from my Motorola Electrify using Tapatalk 2
Bump....Could really use a repair pro asap....Need to find this part cheaper than 20$....
Need help guys...Someone has got to know where to get one of these babies...
