the one I'm using is an original Mac book pro one which is around $70 but you can find the generic ones on Amazon for $38 I'm going to buy an extra one for my office. It is an 87 watt charger but it charges the phone a lot faster than the original Huawei one.

Just tried my handset on a couple of USB-PD chargers and getting 16W consistently.

i tried with mac pro original charger, i am getting around 3k miliAmp/hr on mac charger and 4-4.5k on huawei charger. Are you getting more than 3k on mac charger ?

MateBook X Pro Charger seems to result in something like 16W charging(just my estimate)

What's the max mA it charges at?
The stock 20x charger charges at over 4000mA when I plug it in with 50% battery.
Does it do better than that?

I heard these super fast chargers damaged batteries.

They won't necessarily damage the battery but will reduce it's lifespan. I generally use a Samsung charger, Qualcomm quick charge 2.0 , I also use do my best to use the 40 to 80% rule when charging.

[Q] 2A wireless car charger

Anyone seen it?
The ones sold are 1A which is rather slow for charging, i plan on using it for GPS + music so i'm not sure if 1A is enough to charge it.
The only 2A wireless i've found is this:

For those who bought it, how thick is it?
I'm thinking of combining it with brodit / ibolt dock....
Ohh, you can purchase a USB car charger with two USB ports. So you can charge you phone with your USB charging cable and also charge your GPS or Tablet.

I meant i use GPS and music on my note 3, So it will charge very slowly or maybe not charging at all if i use 1A wireless
There are a few threads that cover wireless charging. You find some info there. You are not likely to find a 2Amp wireless charger.
- Wireless charging will be slower than wired.
- It is more inefficient and produces more heat
- Most devices are limited to charging at something under 1Amp or even 500mA (as to minimize the heat produced).
- A custom kernel may be able to raise the charging ability of the device, but probably not over 1Amp.
No matter what you do 640ma is the charging current so a 1 amp charger will work fine

So this is false ad? Or just marketing gimmicks cause the max is 640mA?

2Amp charger powers the pad. The pad puts out 1Amp to the device.
Like I said there are threads discussing wireless chargers in this and in the Note 2 section. The Note 2 section is little older and has lots of info. It even discuss that Samsung charger.

Costs 15$ but it's working flawless, compared to these crappy 4$ cables i've bought from china before!

Finally a working Magnetic cable, guess i've just had bad luck with chinese crap from ebay. Some people report good results with those.
but for 15$ which is still cheaper as the original Sony i can totally reccomend this!
Now i've just gotta rebuild that brocken Dock which i've bought for 7$ xD It's nothing other than a magnetic cable put into the right direction fixed inside the dock xD
Borked Magnetic Cable:
just for comparison here is the old Dock, same Charger, same Cabled used as on normal Benchmark, just plugged the microUSB into the Dock instead of the phone.

So roughly 3hours from 1% to fully 100% is absolutly normal on a 1.5A EP880 charger.
i think the EP800 was only 0.8mA ?
If you're in a hurry you could try and get an 1.5A charger.
I also wanted to ask the same question. got my z2 2 days ago. it charges around 27% in 1.30min.. i am using oem xperia charger but I think the voltage is too low.. ( it`s oem charger but made for xperia tipo

Just got the Anker Powercore+ . It's a monster
http://the-gadgeteer.com/2016/03/13/anker-powercore-26800-quick-charge-2-0-usb-wall-charger-review/
Since Z5 premium is quick chargeable device, I will recommend you AUKEY QUALCOMM CERTIFIED 16000MAH QUICK CHARGE 3 POWERBANK QC3.0
I have been using this powerbank for months and it works fine.
Compared to other power banks that do not come with Qualcomm Quick Charge technology, this power bank really provides a faster and stable charge.
However, it is quite heavy for regular users, or maybe you can buy a smaller one but of course, comes with smaller battery capacity.
You can Google it for more reviews, but for me, it is the best power bank I have ever used.

As long as you got it with the phone or ordered it from OP you're good. The chargers are different region wise. For instance, we get this heavy ass charger in India along with the phone.

Well i haven't got it with the phone. Ordered from eBay.
When i'm charging the phone it says "Dash Charge" and i got it up to 84% and it stopped charging.
I don't know what to say
you can see these a lot on aliexpress too

Actually i compared this charger with my friend that got the charger with the 1+3T.
It's 99.9% same (only some icons were changed).
BTW I don't know why but the stops charging at 80%-85% with the dash charger.
My dash charger is manufactured by lite on

I got the same icons as you..
It's charging according to ampere (app) max at 3130mA but usually it's on 2750mA
Same with mine (ordered from aliexpress) look like the first photo with different serial number and same weight and feel as the original but it stop dash charging at 81-84% and do nothing after that.
I think the normal dash charge is up to 80% and the remaining is done at regular charge.
It look like this charger can just do dash but not lower amp charge. I try it with my samsung tablet and it's don't supply enough pover to charge it. Maybe it's missing some chip inside or it's a batch of deffective chargers rejected by onplus and sell under the table.
I'm in the UK but this is my charger, bought from one plus 1 minute after the phone went on sale.
Sent from my ONEPLUS A5000 using XDA-Developers Legacy app
It's normal behavior. Dash drops to 2A after 75% and even lower after 85%.

fast charge stops at 84%

No.You will brick your phone.
It does say that it can do 5V at 2A, so that is phone charging terirtory, but i dont know if the charger can detect the required power. Its risky but may work.
it'll probably work
but I've seen arduinos fry because they were plugged into the USB C port on the newest macbook while it was plugged into the charger
I often charge my Poco with my 65W charger. No Problem so far.
Even my OnePlus Wireless Bullets I charge with the 64W charger
Not responsible if your burn your house down or something lol
I use 65 watt lappy charger ....n it also show "Turbo Charger" .. no warning sign.... So no prblm to use i think
The phone and adapter should communicate with each other. It will pull only as much as the phone requests. I've used a Motorola 25 watt charger on my phone...and the measured pull is only 18W.
But it's better to be safe than sorry.
Even you use 500W charger if it will launch in Future. Poco F1 will gonna take only upto 18W power to charge itself.
you will damage your hardware! it supports 18w only!
you question can be viewed as, can i insert direct wire from wal socket to phone?
The phone is the one that decides how much power it wants to get. The charger just provides whatever it has to offer that's why these brick chargers have lots of modes set as it's output. There's should be no problem hooking your phone to these power bricks as every power needs proper handshake before delivery.
in my mi6 i used one from hp, works ultra fast!, but the phone is overheating, is dangerous, seems like to explote
if this was 10 years ago you will probably fry your phone, but nowadays smartphones are really smart. they will determine the best and maximum voltage/ampere to charge themselves.
