[Q] Sync only one contacts list from Google account?

Hi,
First of all, JUST RECEIVED MY SIII
I'm messing around with it, and I can only say it's a BEAST!!
But the first little problame I cam across is the syncing of my contacts. I have a list in gmail of my phone contacts (so I don't have to have ALL my gmail contacts) but I can't find in android 4 how I can only select this list ... can someone help me?
Thanks!
Sam
I can't believe this is not possible ...
I think it depends on the dialer/contacts/people app combo. I know I could select which groups of contacts was shown in ICS on my HTC Desire (menu/accounts in the contact list), but I don't have the option on the contacts/people app currently in use in the BlackStar rom.

Hiding E-Mail Contacts in JB 4.2?

Hey, got a question!
I installed the CM10.1 JB4.2 for my Evo V 4G, but would like to know if there is a way to remove the Emails from the contacts list, and keep it just the Name of the Contact / Phone Number, like in ICS/Older versions. I don't see a setting for that in the Contacts app. Just related to sorting. I can only see it hidden if I access through the Dialer and then to the built in Contact tab.
I don't want to delete the emails, just hide them in the main Contact App.
Thanks!

[Q] Problems with email app and Calendar on Nexus 5

HI,
So I've got a brand spankin' new Nexus 5... along with the apprpriate glitches.
One problem I've seen is that when I get a calendar invitation, and ask to view it in the calendar, it shows me the invitation instead of the calendar. In Jelly Bean, that same button would show me the new meeting and all the other meetings to see if there were conflicts or something. I no longer see that view. I tried it with two calendar apps, Google's and a third-party, and both have the same behavior.
Anyone else see this?
Thanks,
L

[Q] Hide/Show contacts in Samsung Galaxy S3 KK 4.4.4

Hi there,
I'm new in this site and this is my first topic so really sorry if this question isn't in the proper category.
I have a S3 (I9300) with CM 11 and KK 4.4.4. Everything looks fine after upgrading the OS, but I realized that the Phone Dialer and Contacts are quite different from the previous version (I had Jeally Bean 4.3).
I have, of course, a Google account and when I sett up, it sync my mails and contacts properly. The thing is that I dont want to have "all the contacts". In the previous OS I was able to customize my contact list, being able to select which contacts I want to display.
I'm just wondering if there is any way to do the same on KitKat 4.4.4 as I dont find any menu with a kind of configuration to hide or show contacts.
Be aware that in Google, I have a group call "Old Contacts" so I dont want them to be shown in my phone. Is there any way to do that?.
Thanks.
MS.

Google reminders sync problems

Hello guys
I know this question was asked a lot of times already, but I couldn't find a working solution yet.
I use two phones very often; A OnePlus 5 and a Samsung Galaxy S6. Both are connected to my Google account in the Google app, and are running Android 7.1 Nougat.
But when I add a reminder on either phone, it never shows up on the other, neither in the calendar app. Other syncs like notes work just fine.
Has anyone an idea of a fix?
