I've just received the Android Pie EMUI 9 update on my Honor View 10, but I noticed a problem. The phone doesn't show me push notifications, but only the app logo on the notifications bar.
How can I solve?

I've noted in the Mate 10, but it's likely to be an Oreo thing, I can't seem to set a custom tone for new Twitter notification. In the Galaxy note 8, it was under settings, my Account , sound and vibrate. That option is in Twitter under Oreo on the Mate 10 but the option to set a custom tone is missing...am I missing something

Push notification e.g. (whatsapp, messenger, instagram, tinder) don't work properly on emui (very delayed) and also alarm (i'm using sleep as android) doesn't work.
Apparently all the setting about working in background are turned on but still have this issue that wasn't present in emui 8.
Do you have the same problems?
You may try reset app settings preference in settings- apps- 3 dots and option.
If not helped then can go for factory reset
Essential PH-1 on pie and Huawei Honor note 10 on 9 - both have popup notifications turned off but continue to popup no matter what window I'm on (except on that WhatsApp chat). Have tried but individual and group settings in WhatsApp and app settings.
Anyone have similar problem?

Ever since I installed Android 9.0 on my Verizon S9+, I have been getting double notifications. If I get a text/email, it shows up in the notification bar. I click it and reply. The notification stays there, until i pull down on the notification bar again, which then it disappears.
Any suggestions??

I have a HUAWEI phone that after an upgrade to MIUI 12.5 is not showing any longer the icons on the status bar for silent notifocations.
I know it must be a HUAWEI MIUI 12.5 bug, but I am wondering if tehre's a way to enable this via adb or other means. The options is not in settings/notifications/advanced
