What is this and why does it fail to update?
Carrier Configuration Version 2.34001 and is there a more recent version that I could load myself? Does it enable other features on the network?

I like this feature but it not available in GB. I wonder how to get this on 2.3 Rom?

You don't.
It's an ICS feature.
I know CyanogenMod supports OTA updates, but does any other ROM?

As much as i know, Paranoid Android too supports OTA updates..

yeah i'm missing that icon. i guess my telco doesn't support this device yet. my black shark 3 have it.
After a recent software update the options are finally available. My carrier just enabled it.
