OK so i was doing a frp unlock i flashed the combination for factory binary everything went well. Then i put it in debug mode and then put it in download mode so i started to flash 8.0.0 from sammobile.Yes i flashed my right one. It got through like half way then the BIG FAIL ugggggggg now my s8 wont do anything but go into the blue screen that says, an error has occured while updating the device software use the emergency recovery function in the smart switch PC sofware. nothing worked hard reset. When i try to put it in download mode it goes to the download screen but when i press the volume up for download it goes to the error an error has occured while updating the device software use the emergency recovery function in the smart switch PC sofware. smart switch s8 is not supported. Hi, I have S6 Edge (SM-G925I). I have mistakenly bricked my device. It is running on Android 5.1.1. I tried rooting my device with CF-Auto Root. and since then i had this error on on the top left corner of my boot screen it is written in red and it says "Recovery is not seanandroid enforcing". i was really annoyed by this and tried to get back to my Stock ROM via Smart Switch. Unfortunately it failed. since then i am not able to enter recovery mode. Every time I try by pressing the 3 buttons, it shows up on a Cyan screen with this written "An error has occurred while updating the device software. Use emergency recovery function in the smart switch pc software". following that whenever i run Smart Switch it says that my device is not supported. I went through many sites over the internet however none solved my problems. i'm desperate for help. Please help me

Hello guys, i tried to root my S6 edge 5.1.1 but i got trouble .
I found a tutorial and i did this things :
1: enter download mode
2: use odin to run twrp_5.1.1_edge.tar as AP.
After that i got and error on the screen : An error has occurred while updating the device software. Use the Emergency recovery function in the Smart Switch PC Software.
I tryed to use it but it doesnt recognize the phone..
I tryed to reboot it (Vol down + Power + middle button) and it reboot again in donwload mode with that message on it.
Any one got any solution please?
Use odin to flash stock firmware. Will work after that. Had same problem with mine

My galaxy s6 edge (T-Mobile - SM-G925T) has been bricked. I flashed the stock android M 6.0.1 firmware through Odin and now my phone does not boot past the second boot animation.
The phone also has a blue led indicator on at all times during this brick.
I tried going to stock recovery and factory resetting the phone with no luck and its still stuck on 2nd boot animation.
I have tried to restore the phone with smart switch but it asks for my serial number which I do not have.
The serial number is not on the back of the phone and I doint have the box.
I put the phone in to download mode and hit the home button to show the "bar code" option but it does not display the serial number at all and its just blank.
I put the phone into download mode tried to flash stock firmware and twrp but it just stays on setup connection in odin by powering off the phone, holding vol down, home power, and vol up again to enter download mode.
But before what I did was I typed the adb commands on my computer to reboot the phone into download mode so I could flash files to the phone through odin but I caint send adb commands to the phone due to this brick.

Try again to flash this

If it sticks on setup connection again, try a different usb port.
If after this it still bootloops try again to flash twrp and if this works wipe cache/dalvik.
If it doesn't work and just bootloops tell me of any errors you get during the process.
Thank you for the help! I hit the thanks button. I found out why Odin was stuck on setup connection and that was because I was using a bad USB cable, so I tried another cable. After that odin was not stuck on setup connection. Then I flashed stock firmware on Odin and now the phone works!. Thank you for the help!

but touch screen is working
i had downloaded G935U from Updato.com and flashed using odin 3.13
ODIN says you pass flashing with a green box,no error during flashing but my phone never boot up
when try to go into recovery mode
android symbol comes and give a message 32% erasing and turn off
if i again force fully try to turn on stuck at samsung s7 edge logo with blue lines on top"recovery mode" in small letters.

What version is show up when you enter into Download mode 7.0 or 8.0 ?
it shows 7
but now phone dont turn ON to download/Recovery mode

Make sure you charge your phone for about 2 hours and try to enter into Download mode again : ).
After that re-flash latest stock firmware for your region and use latest Odin version . Good luck

I want to my current rom G9650ZHU3ARK1 flash into G9650ZCU3ARK1 , lots of tutorials in the internet said that I don't have to turn off the OEM lock. I think that is because I didn't turn off it. I use odin 1.13.1 and ADB is installed, and after odin started progress, it shows me failed .
Then I have to reboot my phone, but there's a warning "An error has occurred while updating the device software. Use the Emergency recover function in the Smart Switch PC software."
I tried Smart Switch but no device shows in the emergency software recovery option .
And now my phone can't even shutdown, or can't enter downloading mode anymore. or recovery mode ( volume up + bixby + power ) , the only thing that it can do is reboot into error interface.
I don't know how to recover my phone, anyone can help me? please.
