[Q] cm 13 ? Bad battery life

Is ther anyone going to develop cm 13 for the redmi note 2?
I have the note 2 for 1 month and im very disapointed from the battery life ... Is this a known issue? Im withe cm12.1 from this forum. I bought an extra battery and external charger.
As long as no sources are provided, no one can improve the kernel in any way.
IF a MIUI version based on android 6 is released for this device, ports might be done, but nothing's for sure...
Batterylife really isnt a strenght of the RmN2.
Try to dl The Redmi Note 2 tool from the playstore
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=hu.xmister.hermestool
You can Downlock the cores of the cpu or disable some etc.
Really good tool to save a lot of battery
thanks for sharing the tool

Tested in both performance and non performance battery setting on first boot with no debloating. Least to say it's the first time I feel like I've bought an expensive phone.

Xperia X F5121 {OREO} 34.4.A.2.19 Battery ???

Xperia X F5121 {OREO} 34.4.A.2.19 2018
abnormal draining of the battery : (
I did not go back to the previous firmware less battery but now I have 50% of the battery in 12 hours now, is it normal? : (
3 day use 34.4.A.2.19 but nothing has changed is just worse : (
Have any idea ?????
Oreo in general is HEAVY for Xperia X, battery Drain is TOO high, I switch back to android 7.1.1
For sony Stockrom
-MM is best for battery life but many feature of N arent there so after a while I started missing those (specially the way N handles notifications)
- N is reasonabily ok with battery life (build .252 Dec17 (android 7.1.1). has alot of value added features, better notification panel to handle and once rooted with Magisk, flashing Sysconfig and Doze; it gives you 6hrs of battery life (heavy 4g usage)
- O is basically NOT for xperia X. or atleast Sony Stockrom on Oreo performs worse! gives you only 3hrs of batterylife (have 4g usage), device heatsup more and snapdragon 625 processor starts lagging. So after trying both OREO Builds released .364 and .19 (6feb & 25feb) I have downgraded my self again to N and I am gonna keep my device on N only.
OMNIROM
- I found Omnirom 7.1.1(Android) working wonder on Xperia X where battery life is concern! watched full 2hrs movies and the batter drops was only 20%
- however omnirom is basically on AOSP so no premium featurse. Xperia X becomes one of those lowfi android devices but if you install all the apps maybe you can live with it. (there is no xreality engine working for xperia x in omnirom so i kinda miss that Vibrant screen. but battery life is too good!
if you are ROOTED then consider flashing DOZE and SYSCONFIG PATCHER in MAGISK
it helps!
Very thankx you bro

From my tests, the battery and the general performance are identical on Nougat and Oreo. Never seen it seriously lag on either.
PS: the SoC is a snapdragon 650, not 625.

I installed the new update for my Mate 20 Pro (Andoird 10) and the battery just became garbage...before the update the battery was amazing even if i played a lot it was draining slowly and now in 2 hours im on 65% and it happend to my friend as well on his P30 pro...
Somebody knows what to do?:crying:
Yes i have the same Problem after Update on A10. Its very bad and i hope the finally Version of A10 make it better.

But the problem is i saw nothing on this issue online so im aftaid they wont fix it bacuse they dont know about it
I've seen quite a few post online about poor battery life & other data/Bluetooth issues after updating to emui 10, for both Mate 20 Pro & P30 Pro.
I used the files posted by dog121 (10.0.0.155) but battery life is still great for me as it was on 9.1
I'm sure Huawei will fix the issue with the official (stable) release.

Same problem here, I'm in version 10.0.0.180 but the battery life is still very poor. Disappointing!!!

Mine honestly doesn't have any problem with battery life and i'm on a10 still got 6-7 hours screen on time within 16-20 hours of usage and i'm a really heavy user
No difference noted on battery life since I updated from android 9 to 10 on my Mate 20 Pro...
.
Right for me (mate 20) it was great on version 10.0.0.155 but after the update to 10.0.0.180 battery life is very poor
I'm on A10 with 158 version and have actually observed improvements over version 9.
I am on 180 and battery life sucks. After 3 hours on 60%.
Bought this phone for the exceptional battery life.
Not pleased...
Go to System --> Battery --> Battery Usage to find out what's consuming your power so much. It certainly isn't normal for EMUI 10
For me battery is much better - v. 181
After I updated to .180, my battery is phenomenal. Gained almost 20%, its back to being a 2-day battery phone.
10.0.0.182 - no visible difference.
I will say though that I wiped out the cache partition and it took a few days to calibrate. I did the same as on EMUI 9.1, disable a bunch of system apps, particularly PowerGenie.
Was hoping for better behavior in EMUI 10 but it still stupidly kills apps and notifications...so it's gone.
Which version of firmware was the best in battery life?
