First time installing crDroid to your kuntao, or coming from another ROM: <--THESE MAY NEED UPDATING FOR YOUR PARTICULAR DEVICE; BE THOROUGH IN INSTRUCTIONS-->
** Make sure you're running a proper working Recovery (CWM or TWRP)
1) Copy crDroid zip, gapps zip <--& vendor img, if applicable--> to your device
2) Boot into Recovery
3) Wipe cache, system, & data (or just cache & system for a dirty flash).
4) Flash ROM
8) Flash gapps
9) Boot up
For root, AFTER you boot into the ROM, you can go back to recovery and install Magisk XX.x (whatever is most recent).
Upgrading from earlier version of crDroid:
The only difference between clean flash as above and upgrading is you just wipe system & cache, leaving data. Everything else is the same. ***Remember to always clean flash before reporting problems. Clean flashing is always the best method of ROM install.
KNOWN ISSUES

Don't expect any support if you:

- have installed any mods such as Xposed!

How will we fix if we don't have testers? We've TWRP Flashable Stock ROM, Nandroid Backup available then why are you not testing? You guys just want VoLTE & PUBG. But If you people can't support us we will stop building.

The button vibration is weird, could you test it and fixed it plz?
I installed the rom. But I am having issues with the notification.
This just doesn't go away.
Wifi in on but it keeps on coming.

Everything seems to be working fine apart from the notification bug I just posted and also the volume is low from the call speaker and pressing the volume button doesn't do anything. Like literally nothing. It just show the animation of increasing and decreasing volume.

You need to flash GApps every-time you flash the ROM.

crdroid 7.1.2 is my daily driver. amazing rom.
I've installed many 8.1 roms but most builds after 15th january don't work, they always show no sim card installed. In the latest crdroid rom, the phone says only emergency calls. Bad luck?

crDroid comes with inbuilt root, which as far as I know can't pass SafetyNet. If you still don't pass SafetyNet after flashing the latest Magisk and/or the Universal SafetyNet fix, I can bring it up with the developers.

Wow it's so great to see a new dev and a new ROM.. I ask two things.. Is there quick charge on/off switcher on your ROM and how's the battery life (SoT and Standby)?
Pls don't do this in EVERY topic... PLS, I would give you money just dont ask this in every lemax2 rom topic. All the Lineage based roms have the exact same battery management and all the AOSP based have the same.
Btw. Will flash rom tomorrow and report back if there's any bug left in the system. Loved the crDroids in the past on other devices.

For now this is the best Oreo ROM who I have tried...... Very very smooth, no lags, a lot of option....... The best for me, absolutely!!!
My compliment to dev, this ROM is awesome.
Only one thing, advanced reboot doesn't work for me, not change if it's set or not.....not recovery reboot option.....
Does the rom have one hand mode? Does Miracast work with television or chromecast?
One more question: which gapps is preferred? (Stock works?)

After reboots merge LiveDisplay settings
Some minor bugs
1. Display charging info at lock screen: info is a bit inaccurate. {In AEX rom (aosp extended) after 5.3 update the info is very good and accurate}.
2. 3.5mm and USB C adapter only works one way.
Finally im asking for better sound and mic reception (Cleaner and a bit louder) that is all.

Okay i think i figure it out, first you need twrp treble, and then you can instal magisk. But, you have to reflash the rom and everything after you install the twrp treble. I hope this will fix your problem too.

When an incoming call on a locked screen, nothing happens. If I'm calling, the phone application error. I installed a Google dialer - now everything is fine.

yeah i am getting that too sorry my apologies for the inconvenience. I will be uploading a build later today that hopefully has this fixed. You will have to do a clean flash though and wipe everything except internal storage
i have fixed the incoming call bug so new build will be uploaded and coming today at some point I will let you all know when the new build is uploaded

Instead of waiting for my new build to be made which I am waiting till next month to build once July patches come you can just flash this flashable fix to fix the incoming call force close. Just follow these steps in order. You will need to do a clean full flash and wipe
1. Wipe everything except internal storage
2. Flash my first crdroid build from the OP
3. Flash opengapps nano pie zip
4. Flash magisk 19.3 to get root
5. Flash crdroid pie dialer fix Download Here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/shwopipd27uzdq3/crdroidpiedialerfixbacon.zip?dl=0
6. Flash my sound picker fix if you want to fix google sound picker in settings from force closing. Yes it says havocrom in the title but it will work with any ROM

This ROM and all of my other ROMs for the OPO are going to be discontinued for the time being.
I will be having the moderators close all of my rom threads tomorrow since i have and see no interest in making roms anymore i have better things to do with my time
Edit: Forget what I said I decided to continue builds and I changed my mind

Ive flashed last version yesterday.
Coming from PEplus 10.
Very nice and smooth so far.
A couple of things.
- Is it possible to add a quick setting button > Screenshot?
- Is it possible to modify the app to get longer Screenshots by pressing down button, as in PE plus? I found that really usefull!
- Im having trouble when flashing Magisk. Everything breaks and I get into bootloop.

Does this rom have low volume issues like most other moto x4 roms?
I'm currently running PE 10 Plus. Can I flash PE 11 over it or do I need to do a clean flash? I want to upgrade to 11, but I don't really want to factory reset the phone.
First of all, sorry for my bad english and second, thank you for making this since the official ROM got discontinued. Had been using these Pixel Experience Custom ROMs more than a year since one of the first PE 10 was published.
I noticed that your ROM fixed a lot of bugs (stability issues for example) added necessary options like the camera GO, Google Lens is working for me now, among other things from the official PE 11 ROM.
I don't think I can help financially, but you have my full support and if you are open to suggestions for example to fix some errors that I might find, I am happy to help anytime.
Finally, I would like that for the next update, you could upload the .zip on another platform, such as Mediafire or Google Drive because I had problems downloading it (It took like 2 hours to download and my internet isn't that bad)

Any possibility to make AR Services/AR Core work with this PixelExperience ROM? Because when you try to download it from PlayStore it says that "this app isn't compatible with your device anymore" but the application does have support for Motorola x4 just as the official page says (https://developers.google.com/ar/discover/supported-devices).
This is to play games like Pokemon Go without any problem.

PE April patch has not been announced as of now, as soon as it gets to the public channels the dev will release.
Edit: It has been announced and you should be receiving it before the end of next week.
