Mic not working while making making calls - Xiaomi Poco F1 Questions & Answers

I am using the Akg earphones come with the Samsung galaxy s9.
Earphones working perfectly for listening music and for watching YouTube videos but while making calls with Poco f1 (both MIUI ROM & Pixel experience custom ROM) the other person not able to hear my voice .
I tried the same earphones with different mobiles everything is working fine like music and even calls and vice versa (other earphones are working fine with Poco F1)
Please suggest how to fix this if possible .

Since mike is your problem, you have to test the earphones with apps using the mike, not YouTube and music apps. With these, you only listen through the earpiece and not talk through the mike.
Apart from calls, what other apps did you check them on? Probably the port on the phone is clogged with dust/dirt. Try cleaning it.

Good day,
I have the same issue and can only confirm that this is phone not earpieces.I have tested three of my headsets- both wire and bluetooth- and the mike does not function on poco whilst other devices support it just fine.I haven't been able to solve it by rebooting device also .Neither the update to MIUI 10.2.2.0 has changed the situation.

I am also facing same issue. I am on PE ROM. I've tried changing vendor firmware but no luck.
I've tested with AKG and iPhone earpods, mic not working in both.
Has anyone tested with mi earphones on miui rom? Is this a hardware issue?

AKG Earphone Mic not working with my Poco F1
I do face the same issue with my AKG headset mic like many of the users has been facing awhile with Poco F1. I hav not able to find a solution or a fix for this yet. Speakers are working perfectly but mic is not. Headset and Mic work perfectly with my other devices like Samsung Note 8 and Huawei device.

I don't know why but I'm somewhat sure that you need this type of adapter which comes with sennheiser cx275s. It's a special type of adapter. If you guys google about it, you'll find the exact reason why some headphones work differently. I have gone through two pairs of these headsets and have experienced this.
