2CC 8A_20A Carrier Aggregation combination support in UE Huawei mate 20 pro - Huawei Mate 20 Pro Questions & Answers

It is very difficult to find the 2CC carrier aggregation with band B8 and B20 combination with any Mobile device.
We have tested with Huawei Mate 20 pro device but no success, can you please confirm Huawei Mate 20 pro device support band combination as per 3GPP 8A_20A.

I'm sure this Huawei model doesn't support low band CA. Only Xperia 1 and Xperia 5 support low band CA.
Here is database of supported carrier aggregation combinations per device https://cacombos.com/ but your device is not listed. But example Huawei Mate 20 X 5G and Huawei P40 Pro 5G doesn't support 8A_20A.

LTE problem

I bought mate 10 lite 5 days ago from Lebanon and when I'm back to Egypt my home land I discovered that the device LTE bands are not compatible with the network in Egypt.
Is there anyway to solve this issue, or add bands or customize it
My phone is L21
Thanks in advance
The bands covered are a function of the chipset, not the firmware - so there's no possibility of upgrading/modifying/customising your existing device.
According to GSMArena, there are two versions of the Mate 10 Lite - one (presumably the variety you have) which covers LTE bands 1, 3, 7, 8 and 20, and one which is more international and covers LTE bands 1, 3, 5, 7, 8, 28, 38, 40 and 41.

4G+ support in Europe ?

Does the Honor 10 has 4G+ support in Europe ? (4G+ by using several band).
Yes, its available and isnt new. Im sure, more details comming up on launch event at thursday.
A lot of Honor phones have only 4G+ in the same band. So we have only 4G in Europe. The information is hidden in all shows. Honor 6 has 4G+ but Honor 7,8,9 don't have 4G+ in Europe.

Mate 10 Pro - how to lock on one LTE frequency band

Mate 10 Pro - how to lock LTE bands (1800, 2100, 2600 etc.).
I know the app Network signal guru can do this on Qualcomm's SoCs but the Mate 10 is based on HiSilicon Kirin 970...
Can someone tell me a method how to force one of the cellular network bands?

[Q] UK 5g 3400MHz (Band 42) why is it hard to find?

I'm looking to buy a phone and I fancy the Xiaomi Mi 10 or Mi 10 pro.
According to the official Mi 10 specifications list, it is lacking 3400MHz (Band 42).
I then checked the Galaxy S20ultra which is also appears to be lacking 3400MHz (Band 42).
Apparently all major UK networks use 3400MHz (Band 42) for 5g, including my own network 3uk.
Can someone please explain to me about this, are these flagship 5g phones really lacking band 42 or am I confused at all? Help!

5g on Huawei Mate 20 X EVR l29

Pardon My Ignorance..
So I see ATT has 850Mhz for it's low band 5G.
Huawei Mate 20 X EVR l29 has 850Mhz ..does that mean if I live in a att area serving up 5G at 850Mhz I should be able to get 5G?
Or is there more too it than that .. ?
TIA
If you have Mate 20 X EVR-L29 it's 4G-device, not 5G so you can't access to 5G-phone.
