It only shows up as Unknown usb device under (Universal Serial Bus controllers) section
I tried installing qualcom driver from official website But still no luck
i tried installing .inf x64 manually I get a error stating the folder you specified does not contain a specific ..bla... bla ....
Please help me get my phone recognized :crying:

Moto E XT1021 can't detect phone via adb or fastboot [SOLVED]

Hello!
I was trying to downgrade a Moto E XT1021 and I don't remember how but I ended with the phone stucked in the "bootloader unlocked" screen.
Tried to access the phone on the fastboot flash mode and I can get into the mode by pushing volume down and power on for a few seconds. The problem is that I'm not able to send command to the phone because adb or fastboot doesn't detect it.
The USB cable seems to be working because on the phone screen you can read USB connected and USB disconnected every time I connect or disconnect the cable.
My guess is that there's a problem with the drivers, I've tried everything, of course installing the MotorolaDeviceManager_2.5.4.exe was the first step and then I ended up trying adb-setup-1.4.3.exe and also adb-setup-1..3.exe with no luck. I'm using Windows 7 professional 64 bits.
Right now phone driver says: Android Composite ADB interface.
Hardware ID is USB\VID_22B8&PID_2E80
If I remove the driver the device with no driver says "fastboot condor S"
I want to install 4.4.4 on that phone.
What can I do?
Thanks!
I solved it

at least provide the solution if anyone comes wandering again with the same problem
I really don't know why it worked, but I had several folders with adb, fastboot and firmwares and ona of the folders with fastboot detected the phone, I tried the other folder and that version of fastboot didn't detected the device; really weird.
Same software, same dll's but in different hard drives, the one on the C drive worked and the one in the D drive didn't detect the phone.
As I said, really weird.

Download mi PC suite and connect your phone it will install a driver onto your device and then boot into fastboot mode and connect USB and check whether it is connected as android in device manager and voila you are good to go and make sure you have signed into the same account on your device as well as the tool

Thanks for the reply... Well it did not work for me i have made sure that the phone was connected as android and was signed into the same account on the device as well as on the tool. It still shows the same error
At first... Only "help..!!" as Topic is not the best way to search for Help
And if you would use the search function or Google, you would found a lot of hits with the same problem...
I tested many things and nothing worked - in the meantime i opened the Bootloader with one of the other solutions.

Bricked Device with USB Debugging Disabled

Hey all.
I use a Redmi Note 3 (Snapdragon) and upto now I used CM13. I wanted to switch back to MIUI 8, as it supports LTE, so I tried to flash the MIUI ROM using TWRP. My device bricked and doesnt go past the loading screen. The bootloader also got locked and my device is also not being detected in adb command prompt. In device manager, I can only see ADB Bootloader driver but not any other. I tried installing ADB drivers again but it doesnt work. I believe I did not enable USB debugging. I have a TWRP backup of the previous ROM on my pc but is there any way to flash it?
Please help
Hi , I am new to xda and was previously viewing the posts of other users only, now I have an issue with one of my devices. I have a phicomm passion 660 in INDIA AKA Phicomm P660 in Europe.issue is the digitizer is broken ,USB debug is not enabled, ADB and Fastboot doesn't recognise the device as it appears to be issue with Google USB drivers( which is obvious due USB debug not enabled), all I want to do is use optical mouse to use the device again for DEDICATED VR VIEWING, I can boot the device to Fastboot and in normal boot the pc recognises the device as MTP, I tried steps from many other posts but since the device is not recognised by ADB , the result is ground zero, cant install cwm through sdcard due signature verification error.so any help or direction to relevant posts would be very helpful

Hi
Looks like your computer isn't recognizing the attached FonePad.
Assuming you've checked the USB cable and the connecting ports are working fine, if you are using a Windows pc, it is likely the bootloader interface drivers havent been installed properly specially if you are on Windows 10 anniversary update or beyond. This is because latest Windows builds won't allow unsigned drivers. So you can either try to download the device drivers from Asus official site and install them afresh, maybe the last time they didn't get installed properly. If you still can't, you can try using a pc with an older Windows version. You can Google for "Windows enable unsigned drivers" without quotes.
I have a FonePad ME372CG model and I've faced this issue once, rectified with ensuring that the bootloader interface driver shows up in device manager > android device name > ADB Bootloader Interface
Once you've ensured the drivers are installed okay, you can check for device connectivity by the flashboot devices command, should bring back a string of numbers.
If above fails and you're sure you've installed everything fine, you may want to check out about flashing raw firmware. I've never tried it but have seen users on asus forums mention it as a means to revive bricked devices. Here's a link to the raw firmwares

Please be absolutely sure of what you do and take responsibility for it

Boot up problem. White screen on Acer Z410

Hello everyone;
I was trying to load a CM recovery file on my cell by using SP Flash tools and somehow bricked my Acer Z410 phone (carrier: Fido, 2 sim card slot) I do not know why afterwards, the cell turns white with a yellow strip down the middle. I have been able to have my computer recognize it after numerous attempts to flash firmware versions that I was not quite sure was the original. I had tried your site to load the firmware that seem to correlate to my cell configurations, but all of the links are dead. I ended up flashing with SP Flash tools firware version AVOKO 1.015, but it still can't boot in to see anything on cell. So as of today, I got my computer to recognize the phone and I can actually see the files on my phone and sd card inside. How can I boot into this puppy? I have tried within ABS and the command function to view adb devices, but it does not show up? I get an error : device 0123456789ABCDEF Unauthorized. In my device manager it shows up as ACER phone , and under the Ports section it does show Mediatek Preloader USB VCOM driver (COM 5). I hope I have given enough information to start diagnosing the problem.
Any suggestions how to go about this problem from here?
