Non treble rom and battery to save setting?
Use latest Aosip pie rom works great with minimum heating. Can be used as daily driver ( I am not a gamer) it gives SOT if 5 hrs with stock battery of 2 yr old device.

Looking for stable rom, best battery life, good for gaming, good sound qualty.
I tried some of the roms below and there cons:
TW revolution 5.3
-battery last longer but if being charge while phone is turned off it will take 7 to 8 hrs to charge. Tried it twice i switched the phone off and charged it. It will take forever to charge. Will notice when charging its not getting hot unlike before with stock its hot when being charge
-sounds are too low, when playing games sounds are very low
-game will crush. In the middle of the game it will just close the app. Tried asphalt and evil defenders same issue
-lte 4g signal is very weak. Not sure if its in my country philippines but with stock i get 3 to 4 bars lte signal. If its only 3g and 2 g it can reach up to 3 to 4 bars.

-fast and has good sounds but drains battery faster. Im not a heavy user. Battery will drain after being removed from charger when being used. In idle for half a day the battery life is already half
-camera option has grey or unselectable option even hdr is off and selective focus is off
-in short my battery will only last half a day without being charge. .
I only use the phone for playing games 10 to 30 mins. Send messages in hangouts,calls,taking pictures. . Please advise what are your suggested rom that has a good battery life, good performance and a stanbl rom. .

Best touchwiz rom is PhoeniX rom. I've tested 8 touchwiz and aosp roms over the last 2 weeks and keep going back to phoenix rom on my g900f. Stable with plenty of features. Also has s6 installations through aroma installer

I'd say that get it checked from the xiaomi service center under your warranty. Even if the problem isn't real, it doesn't hurt to get it checked. You might even figure something out by that and anyways it's free

Reflash stock ROM, stock kernel, lock bootloader and check the usage for 2 days, while taking necessary logs for battery discharge. If the discharge rate is poor, get to the service center.
And yes, 0% battery is unusual especially for a built-in battery.

Its a snapdragon, 3gb ram
I dont know if only on wifi, on airplane mode is the same, but i dont remember if wifi was on or not.
I can disable wifi all time to try

Clean flash your oreo rom. Try out other kernel, don't tweak anything. I use xenial 20x kernel. Then you can use magisk v16 for root. As under examination, install minimal set of your apps. Check for battery.

Hello my friends. Which is the best rom-kernel combination to get the longest on-screen time on Redmi Note 4X (mido)? I want about 15 hours of screen on time. I'm on MultiPro Stable 9.5.8.0 and i got 8-9 hours of SoT. This is not enough for me because of my daily routine I don't play games but LCD brightness always 80 percent and above.
So, Which is the best rom-kernel combination to get the longest on-screen time on Redmi Note 4X (mido)?

You wont get 15 hours with display on 80%+ brigthness, since this display consumes most battery.
I have about 12 hours with brigthness only in 20-30%...
What's your "daily routine" ?
Although it true that you wont achieve the most out od your phone with 80%+ brightness my combination is the following:
DotOs rom v2.2 TREBLE with Francokernel V6(supports treble roms) and gave some $$$ for his Francokernel manager app which is great if you want to tweak some stuff for better phone battery or performance. Alternatives are Kernel adiutor or N speed from the play store.
Nowadays I only get about to 3.5 hrs of sot and if I use it lightly it dies within 12 hrs, Miui astable 10.3.4

Same here. Used to play 5h of pubg when the phone was new. Never wanted to unlock bootloader but looks like trying another ROM is only option left.
Hello I'm trying to find a rom with a good battery life, so far I tried 3 roms, xiaomi eu (the best at the moment in battery), the redmi note 7 port rom and last CarbonOs, what rom do you reccomend?
I suggest lineageos with andoird 10, and gapps is pico.

Hard to say, but i tried LOS 17.1 April release and I found terrible power consumption because of pernament awake state. I dirty upgraded to May release and all is fixed and during 8h of night in baterry saver mode it lost 0% of battery. It looks great. I never seen similar result on my pad 4.
