There isn't any back support to the phone. I am be concerned having just the mini pin and tiny bit of the phone 'Holding' it upright. Could it damage the mini usb port?

As some of you probably have read that Malata Zpad ships with an official (perfect fit) leather stand/case, i just wanna share that i have purchased it via the chinese ebay here: http: / /item. taobao. com /item. htm? id= 9003689863
Its 50 RMB so in USD its like 7 bucks. But because i don't have a chinese bank account (and many of you probably don't either) i have to go through a 3rd party (known as a taobao agent - google how to buy from taobao) to get this. It significantly jacks up the prices to about 20 USD. But its still cheaper than the ones unofficial leather cases you see on dhgate and alibaba.
My apologies if this has been posted before (though there are no similar posts showing up).

but if there are guys like it,you can give a PM to it2steve. we can put a group buy.
I think my Zpad is already coming with one of these and the dock.
Might cut a hole in the bottom and get my wife to sew it neatly so that I can use it with the dock.

If they tell you, will be come with all of them.
because now the standard Zpad not includ one DOCK.

Even if it had an opening for the dock, I seriously doubt it could be docked while in the case. The case would simply make it too thick to allow it to dock.
As for the USB and SDcard access... I don't think it that big of a deal for day to day use. You could always cut the case on that side to allow access if you REALLY REALLY wanted it that bad.

I've seen other covers for it with holes for the docking port. So maybe it will work with the cover on, will have to try it out and see.
It is a nice looking case -- but I've already ordered a Kindle DX case based on other recommendations...
If it doesn't fit properly though, I'll definitely consider this one...

I've found myself using a separate tablet and not using the station at all anymore. Anyone looking for one? Comes with a newly-applied AT&T screen protector and a brand new (never even opened) Incipio case.
Also have the keyboard dock available.
I'll throw in a second Incipio cover for the station I took a Dremel to and made work with the keyboard dock if you want both the station and the dock (otherwise it's useless).

That's not a bad idea. My only concern is shipping it to Russia from here. It's a gamble as to whether or not it makes it, but I'm willing to give it a shot so long as I'm off the hook once it ships out of here.
Since this idea's been thrown out there, I'll go ahead and say I'm not looking for much for the station. $50 plus shipping costs. I'd make sure Quarx is okay with it before going down that road, though.

I'm looking for a case for my new Shield K1 and I'm trying to find one similar to the Moko case I bought for my Nook HD+ years ago (http://www.amazon.com/MoKo-Slim-Fit...1453869778&sr=8-1&keywords=nook+HD++moko+case). Has anyone found a case like this? If not, what kind of case would you recommend for someone who carries his tablet around like it was a book that also acts as a stand?
I would like to find something that is a cross between what you linked (minus the hand strap) and the fintie smartshell case. Fintie case is great but the design for self standing position is limited and not the sturdiest.

I second this case quality is good for the price but you got lest protection on both side ( this doesn't had any drop protection to be careful with it!!)

Is there something that keeps the cover attached to the back when you use the tablet in Portrait mode? I have a case similar to the one you use for your Nook HD (that I use with my Samsung Galaxy TabPro 8.4) and I love the little strap that attaches the cover...

I bought the original smart cover from Nvidia, but it is only for the front screen. the back is not protected at all.
IOW, I don't want to modify the actual case for the K1 (though reading how someone else did was fascinating). Instead, I'm wondering if anyone makes a case that would have a loop or something else to hold the K1 and the Stylus? Bonus points if it can also hold my bluetooth keyboard.

How do you rate the case?

Actual I'm using it wiht another stylus as the original is shipping in 4 weeks. But if it is really too loose I will just stitch it a little smaller till it fits
What I also like about this case is that it covers the edges of my Tempered Glass Protector so that it looks like there is none applied.
And it has a magnet holding the case closed.
So from my point of view I would rate this a 4 out of 5.
